Earned another subscriber. No arrogance, trash talk, or nonsense. Just straightforward, informative, and entertaining. Well done.
Thanks Dani I appreciate that. I try to just be real and not BS or fluff up stuff when they don’t need to be. Stay tuned I’ll be headed to Sedona this month and Grand Canyon/moab next month. I’m planning on filming the whole truck and really showcasing the Tacoma offroad.
@@Mavadv Good stuff. Looking forward to seeing more!
Awesome Tacoma. Fellow New Mexican here(Raton)😮 One day I’ll have my truck looking that good !!👍
Hopefully I'll get to see it! Thanks for watching Derrick, I always love seeing the New Mexico support!
So cool I’m from New Mexico too can’t wait to see the build 😁😁👍👍
Awesome dude thanks for watching! I always like seeing fellow New Mexicans watching the videos 🤘🏼
Nice rig!
Thanks!
Very cool buddy
Thanks Jared 🤘🏼
I like what you’ve done and really like you went with Backwoods bumpers.
I thought the GFC was very drafty and let dust in.
Hit subscribe and am your 166th sub, so I can say I was here from the start when you blow up.
So far the GFC hasn’t let in much dust at all. Most of the dust comes from the tailgate area which I just added some cheap Amazon tailgate seals so we’ll see how those do.
Thanks for subbing man I appreciate it. Gotta get this channel back up and rolling. My old channel has 2k subscribers but I had issues with that google account so here we are starting from scratch 🤷🏻♂️
Yo! Could you make a vid and show how and what you used to cut the fenders to fit the tires? I’d greatly appreciate it
Yeah I could go over that for sure 👍🏼
Hmmmm...
How did you get your ladder to fit vertically? I have the same setup in the back and mine doesn’t fit vertically. I don’t have the GFC ladder though so maybe that’s it.
I do think it’s because of the little arms that come off the top to hook into the ladder mounts on the side of the GFC. They’ve lower profile for sure. It barely fits vertically with the decked drawers.
Did you relocate the cab mount at all with that offset?
I do! I’ve got the DRT cab relocation kit to help clear the big tires
Did you need to cut the rear? Any rubbing on the rear ?
I actually don’t have much rubbing in the rear. If I’ve got alot of weight down on one tires at full tuck I’ll rub the sidewall against the fender liner screws but the duro bumps are just the right height to stop from over flexing.
Here's a non truck question. What brand are those boots ur wearing ?
They’re brunt work boots, It’s the marlin model with the comp toe. So far I’ve been really liking the fit. Usually I wear a Keen comp toe boot to work with I also like because of the bigger toe box.
Great, thanks for responding back
I'm thinking of going that tire size. How bad would it be if I didn't cut the front fender flares? And I am sticking with stock front bumper too. I ask because I have the same rim specs.16X8 -12. I rather go 315 ko2 than 295s
Driving around town you'd be fine maybe just the inner fender liner towards the front would rub but if you plan on wheeling you'd definitely rip up the front fender liners and fender itself. Go check out my CZcams Shorts. There Is a video I'm going downhill in a mogul section but I really tuck the front tires in that video. I do recommend the C4 Fender Liner kit since they give you a nice guide line to trim to help fit those bigger tires.

@@Mavadv I do have fox 2.5 dsc with about just under 3 inches of lift. And I do have a cab mount chop, pinchweld done and I also cut a little curve on the front side of the front fender just where the flare ends for a lil more clearance.and also heated the plastics and pushed it as far fromt as I could..
I think in your case since we’ve got similar lift setups. You’d might be okay but I would just go wheeling and figure out where it could potentially rub and go from there. I just knew I wanted to play it safe and go the extra mile up front. My old 4runner I had a 4.5in LT kit with 285s, I still rubbed under full stuff on my fiberglass fenders. I like these new Tacomas since they actually have a lot more room than my previous 4runner.
What is the lift height and tire size?
2.5 inches of lift and 315/75/16 size tires. They come out to 34.6in tall
