- Booster Course Wave 2 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is here, and we’re checking out All Changes and differences made for the returning courses. Next up in the Propeller Cup is Mushroom Gorge, which made its debut in Mario Kart Wii. Featuring split paths, risky shortcuts, a crystal cave, and many, many mushrooms, this course has everyone bouncing their way to the finish line. So how does this track differ from past instalments? Something you didn't know is that this version of Mushroom Gorge in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe now lets you trick off the green mushrooms. The original version alongside 7 and Tour didn't let you trick off the green mushrooms.
Actually… tour was the game that introduced tricking off of the green mushrooms… but since tour auto tricks I don’t blame you for missing them…

@@itstoasty7089 In Tour, when you go off the edge of a green mushroom, you automatically trick off of it since that’s Tour’s base mechanic.

You forgot one minor detail: the final lap music for Mushroom Gorge in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a little faster than in past games.

loved the video, but it got a little confusing when you were showing different parts of the course in all 4 games (specially when zooming in on details around the scenary) and comparing all of them to one another, i think it would be nice if there was always each game's logo tagging each game scene so its possible to easily tell which game is being shown at all times
You forget that the cave sparks got changed in every version, The Tour version is the most beautiful one ✨
It’s amazing how many changes they made from the tour version and re-introduced elements that haven’t been seen since Wii.
Glad Nintendo actually put effort into porting this track over, unlike certain other tracks…

Also something interesting, in Mario Kart 7 The Final Lap music actually sounds Sightly Different I would explain what but is better if you can hear it by yourself

I find off that in tour and 8 deluxe, you can trick off the green mushrooms
The most weird thing for me is, that Tour's final lap Version of Mushroom gorge is i think a bit faster and also higher pitched than the Wii and 7 version but 8 deluxe fixed it with it being normal again ,i don't know why🤷 but that's just how it is.
No this is how tour made the final lap music it's not a glitch or something like that, I noticed that 8dx is doing this with some BCP tracks, I actually like the tour way of the final lap music it's good to see something different specially in the music that has vocals like LA and amsterdam they sound so funny lol.
All tour final laps have a much higher pitch compared to other games
@@BK2410 I know that this is normal in Tour 😄 and also yeah true they sound quite funny🤣 and i also like some of them, but Ninja Hideaway final lap is just in my oppinnion too high pitched and a bit too fast for me, the 8 Deluxe one sounds way better.

The only change I've noticed in Mushroom Gorge is…TIMING!
Does someone know is it possible to port te Switch Mushroom Gorge models to Wii but reducing the polygons? I ask this couse I know Mario Kart Wii is very very easy to mod nowadays and I think this version of Mushroom Gorge really the best one.
And by making texture. Switch mushroom gorge has so many modelled details that it's going to be very hard to just use blender decimate and have it still good. BCP courses have even more polygons and are more graphically intensive than the base game courses afterall
@@stanzacosmi I would do it even if it takes weeks. But sadly 3D is one of tge things that was always far from me. I like to cut videos, edit pictures, program stuff, configure stuff. I love to work with PCs but 3D... IDK I was never able to try it. :D

I know this is about Mushroom Gorge, but a certain pink mushroom is what I can't take my eyes off of, especially in one of her trick animations on a bike where she turns to the camera and blows a kiss while kicking her feet up. Cutest thing I've ever seen.

Definately not. I hate the jump pads and how they send you in a seemingly random bounce direction instead of influencing your bounce towards the stage. I have fallen off this track more times than I have ever in Wii or Tour.

Man I’m in subbing just and unpopular that has 150k likes trying to get better although people don’t get that much easily I’m not mad just dissapointed
This track is almost perfect. One of the best Mario kart tracks ever and Tour did a pretty good desing for It. The best one until now for the retros in my opinion.
The only thing I don't like from MK8 Deluxe is the cave... I think is prettier on Tour.
But all the track and the music is almost perfect, that is why they can't improve It more xdddddd
