He made starch, and then used cooked it, i wouldn't recommend using starch as lube as it would give a yeast infection.

in South Sulawesi in Indonesia, we fry it and we make the sauce from the cassava. so we grated that and we mixed the sauteed garlic and the chili that we pureed With shrimp paste, and the texture is like gel. And this meal is only available in Sulawesi. Not all in Indonesia know this sauce.

Not the creator, but yes, you can make bio fuel from cassava with some basic seperation systems(not available in standard laboratories) and centrifuge. The process is very long. The formula is 70% ethanol(measure the amount you want with the correct calculations).

So the thing that you should really watch out is buying stuff, so let's say it's your first day in university, and you finished your first lecture and find it interesting. So you decided to buy a microscope and stuff to do experiment at home. That's what you shouldn't do because you will apparently lose interest in your lectures and eventually drop out of university. Also before you join the major you want, you need to study the basics of it, so search up microbiology techniques, understand what is microbiology, and see the pros and cons of microbiology. Also you can lose interest because the lectures are boring and stuff. But if you lose interest in lectures, you just lost the most important keys to completing your thesis. So you want to still focus on the lecture and if you can note down stuff that the lecturer says. And I hope you have a great time in university and in the science community!
