Put in a squeeze bottle and then proceed to squeeze drops of it into a very cold (and neutral!) Oil just like in the video. Then strain and rinse the oil off. U can make it any flavor Bubble tea shops call it crystal boba Tbh I don't know why he made the video like this if u do it exactly like him you're gonna get a glass of water and....oil, lol...wtf?

There’s something missing, for it to be boba, you need some chemicals (i don’t remember the name) that will create the gelatinous skin around the ball of water. Some people use gelatine in their water but that just creates water candy, they won’t be any liquid water in the middle.
Yeah in Molecular gastronomy they use agar agar and calcium alginate to create that skin for fake caviar. well Nick's method could also somewhat "work" if the oil you use has a way lower freezing temp like flax seed oil, place it in the fridge until it reaches - 10C and when you drip a water gelatin solution, it would immediately set and form gelatin spheres kinda like "boba" but its a waste of time as he says
