This was an attempt to recreate the look of the 77'-79' Lowrider which was the best looking bike ever made IMO. Wish they would have put drag bars on it like the original.
No problem. The Lowrider isn't a terrible bike but with my modular helmet, I couldn't see the tachometer. That is a deal beaker for me but just my opinion. I really liked the Fat Bob and was just grateful to have the chance to ride them.
Ahhhh - I ride this very bike - same year and color. Controls are fine and added a VH slip on and a few other upgrades. I use a VH Fuelpak 3 and mount my phone and you can see all the gauges on the phone
Mid mount controls are good..allows one to stand up over bumps..safety…engine runs better with stock intake and exhaust.
If you are a seasoned rider and know your bike you do not need to look at your tach to know what RPM your spinning.

Had to give up a few minutes in; wind noise was just too much. Maybe find a fix for that?
