Thanks to Switchcraft for sponsoring this video! Download Switchcraft for free now: cherrypicktalent.cc/Switchcra... Kim Kardashian is regarded by many as being the EPITOME of ‘body goals’. She has the typical influencer ‘slim thick’ body, zero cellulite, perfect skin, big bum, flat stomach, tiny waist, millions in the bank - Kim is on a pedestal for sure! But as you’ll see in this video, whilst Kim is absolutely stunning AND an epic business woman to boot, she is just the same as you and me. A woman with lumps, bumps, cellulite and rolls, and you know what? That’s beautiful too! It’s time we end these ridiculous beauty standards once and for all and accept and adore ourselves for how we REALLY look.
    Love you guys! X

I agree. She might not have invented beauty standards but her lies are perpetuating the false ideal that women are born "perfect". None of us are born to fit the mold of conventional beauty standards. All of us need to alter ourselves to fit these ever-changing standards. I feel like she needs to take more accountability for the unhealthy body image she pushes onto young people. It might not be her whole responsibility, but how difficult is it to just admit "yes I have my photos edited, yes I got plastic surgery, yes I got a BBL, because it makes me feel good about myself". How refreshing would that be?

Unrealistic beauty standards is what the human race has been about since time immemorial. Kardashians are just a reflection of our society and they're just as trapped in it as we are. It's enough to see their reaction at their real pictures, it's not even about feeling superior to everyone else, it's about losing that infatuation that people have with them. Honestly getting a percentage of the paparazzi’s earnings is brilliant in the sense that they are using her image to make themselves money. The fact that her image is always edited makes me sad for the people that look up to her. Plus it’s just a shit example to set for her kids. Love the message that you promote in these videos Steph!

Her image as well as her family images are their money-maker. They use their perfectly filtered photos to sell their products to people who believe them. Women believe Kim’s body is realistic and achievable (labelled as “body-goal) while men believing it’s normal to look “perfect” like that (fat in the right place with super tiny waist and no cellulite whatsoever).
I live in a country where nearly 80% women would go under the knife to achieve a “perfect/desirable look” just to marry rich men in hope their life would change for a better. Plastic surgeries become a hot trend and a mean to be rich (through marriage). It’s frustrating and upsetting to witness people like that.

I love and respect the videos you make so much. I have been ‘too small’ and ‘too heavy’ in my life and at the end of the day we are pitted against ourselves so often. Although that is the reality of the era we live in it is not how reality is. And that's really hard to get through to people. Too many people want to hide behind the camera and not be themselves. My daughter made a life size doll modelled on the Instagram beauty standard as her year 10 art project. She started with a body made exactly to her own (very beautiful) body measurements, & then modified the body to turn it into the super big boob and butt, super tiny waist picture that we see - her intent was to try and show how ridiculous these ideals are in real life. The act of actually packing stuff on to the butt and boobs, whilst thinning the waist in ridiculously was really eye opening for both of us! The doll could barely stay upright it was so off balance, & it honestly looked ridiculous… but if you held up photos of influencers like the Kardashians next to it it was pretty close to identical!

U are the one who first told me that i should not feel guilty about eating, showed me exactly why and how ig photos are fake, difference between long and short torso, about goodness of cellulite, etc. U not only show facts but you also kindly but straight forwardly encouraged me that my body is normal and i should not be ashamed of it.
