Poor Khloe. She has really had a right doing by both the public AND the media since Keeping Up With The Kardashians burst onto our screens. Apparently both Eminem AND Donald Trump have called her 'ugly' or 'fat', and she is neither. She was, and has always been a beautiful woman. However it's clear to see that she has overhauled her appearance. She has had plastic surgery, and she is a huge fan of photo editing apps, and she gets a lot of stick for it. However after learning more about Khloe and her story, I can totally empathise with why she has felt the need to alter her appearance, both online and in real life.

A message to younger girls watching this. 'The kardashians don't even look like the kardashians, so please don't put yourself in danger or debt or self loathing to look like them, also they have all the money, surgeries, best clothes, best everything and they STILL photoshop and edit, khloe gets a nose job and still edits it smaller' it is such a clique but happiness truly only comes from within yourself.
Why would we want to look like them? The media has torn her apart. Who cares if Khloe edits her nose. I feel for her. It's ridiculous to think that Donald trump called her ugly I mean look at him🤣🤣💀😭

Coming from someone that was always compared her her sister, i know how she feels. My sister has always been way skinnier than me and way prettier. All the boys liked her and all the girls always talked about how they wished they looked like her. I even had someone tell me no matter what i did i would never be as pretty as her. So my heart goes out to her, no one should ever have to go through that. She is beautiful with no comparison🤍

On top of being branded the ugly sister, she picks partners who cheat on her constantly, which really does not help a person who suffers from low self esteem. They take advantage because she is vulnerable, I really feel for her to be honest.
Exactly. It’s sad. It’s because she has been used to people finding others attractive over her so she probably passes off certain behaviors in men as normal when it’s not like for example emotional cheating, checking out other women and all of that.

I do feel bad for her, but at a certain point, you need to change your mindset and choices if you want a different outcome. Whether that's through therapy, or choosing a different type of guy to date, or learning how to build your self confidence up, feeling bad all the time isn't going to make you feel any better.

I'm a 19year old guy with dark skin and short stature and I've always been compared to my younger brother who's got fair skin, golden eyes, most amazing height & smile. I mean it's not easy being called the 'ugly sibling' of the house. It affects you physically, mentally and lot on the emotional side. I feel for Khloe and I understand why she undergoes tweakments/photoshop because she lives in a family where you are considered irrelevant if your aesthetics doesn't matches up to the most beautiful sibling of the house.

I never saw Khloe as ugly, but I have to admit that when I first got to know about her and who she's related to, I was shocked. As you mentioned, she looks much different then her sisters. They all kind of look the same and then there's her. Maybe that's why people perceive her as ugly, because she doesn't look like "copy and paste".

It is so hurtful to be compared to your siblings, especially when it comes to your looks. It’s also not fair how the media treated her. With that being said, it is also NOT okay how much she lies about her appearance (getting surgery, photoshop etc) and hides in a victim narrative. I get that she is damaged and hurt but she is actively hurting a whole GENERATION. Some people should not be an influencer and have a big following 🤷♀️🤭

The pressure from her mother to look like Kim (someone she's not) took a toll on her self-esteem.
Kim doesn’t even look like Kim a lot of the time. It’s all photoshop on instagram. Even the younger siblings got surgery to fit some unrealistic standard but I can’t hate because they all got filthy rich.
I'm empathetic towards Khloe because I could never imagine what it's like to go through public bullying over appearance for decades HOWEVER I am not sympathetic towards her. She had used her new looks to become a bully herself and put others down for their appearance repeatedly, especially to women who are like half her age.

Growing up I've always been compared to my sister and cousins because they've always been conventionally prettier than I've been. I don't have that issue now considering how I know how command respect from others and that I don't look "ugly" anymore. However, I personally believe no one should ever have to go through this growing up. Let alone being tormented by your own family.🙄😒

Everyone puts so much pressure on one another to be perfect to such an unrealistic standard that it’s all that circulates mentally for a lot of the people my age now. I felt sorry for her until I saw "revenge body" show. It is disgusting and Khloe herself acts horribly towards the people involved. Driving into eating disorders and fatshaming is the norm there. In addition, slimming itself is promoted there in a sick way. Literally: "Lose weight for someone instead of for yourself and your health."
I’m not defending her, but that show definitely has to do something with how khloe was treated and feels about herself.

Having a mother like Kris Jenner is obviously the first thing that drains her self esteem, imagine your mother calling you different and low key ugly publicly in her book/memoir. Girls grow up looking up to their mom's but if you have Kris Jenner to look up to, your life is already doomed.

As much as I do feel for her , she still perpetuates these toxic standards soo I genuinely can’t feel too much pity for her.
She does because she feels the need to be perfect...wanting to change herself to what ppl want her to be, she wants to fit into the public eye. She is insecure and instead of being comfortable in her skin she decides to try her best to be what social media wants her to be its not her fault its just PPL who caused this. If maybe ppl could be more loving at first maybe she wouldn't see the need to perpetuate these toxic standards others perpetrated on her first. I feel her tbh i too was mocked for my weight. I was skinny when i was younger like deathly skinny and people always called me a stick and told me eat more, so i did and gained weight immensely then I started to get insecure when my cousins and peers at school would comment on my body, i even resorted to starving myself like I'd eat once or twice a week and then fill up on water the rest of the week in order to lose weight and it worked but i ended up becoming unhealthy and sick and yes eventually i got out of the habit and I'm healthy now but still sometimes i feel as if i shouldn't have a belly and be skinny like the actual pretty girls my age.
You have organs that carry life. Pick your head up. I just have a belly and tell people I'm pregnant 🙃 😅
Stephanie, I appreciate what you’re trying to do by telling everyone they’re beautiful in their own uniqueness, but why must people believe they’re “beautiful” to convince themselves to love themselves and feel like they deserve respect ? Beauty is such a subjective thing dictated by culture and the person’s personal experiences (what they grew up conditioned to find attractive). Society made “beauty” a commodity, put value into it, something to strive for.
We should be “body neutral.” Rather than redefining beauty so that each person can appreciate their uniqueness, the messaging should be: “I love my body because it keeps me alive. I don’t care if it’s pretty or if it’s unconventional. My body is not an object to subject to someone’s beauty preferences. It’s to be respected for being a biological miracle. My health comes first, second, and last. Anyone who disrespects my human dignity doesn’t deserve my attention.”
We made beauty a commodity. Let’s as a society drop beauty. There’s no reason to redefine it. You deserve respect because you’re alive. Period. Instead of looking for beauty, or looking to reprogram what you find beautiful, look for wonder instead. You’ll find it in the mirror. Life is a miracle. You only need to take a bio course to appreciate everything your body must do to keep you breathing.

As someone who has deep issues with body dismorphia, once you past so many years been down by people you start to down yourself and that's worst.
The way ppl look at you may change but yours doesn't, it's a vicious circle.
You start to look yourself once and feel good....but you keep lookin in the mirror for 10 minuts and start to pick every flaw apart that's when things sadly go down hill. Kloe was always for me the pretties from the Kardashian because she has the best personality and hearth ❤️
I just saw her on a commercial a couple of days ago. Her face is starting to take on a strange look because she is obviously tweeking it with plastic surgery. I was taken aback for a minute. Plastic surgery is fine. I’m not opposed to it, but at some point you have to take a good look in the mirror and realize when you need to stop.

I’ve been compared to my mom my entire life. We’re both beautiful, but I don’t look like her at all. My mom at 50 still has 4 foot long straight blonde hair, a perfect hourglass body, and the most amazing butt I’ve ever seen on a human being.
At times I literally hated myself for not looking like her and was so sad realizing I never would. But at 30 I’ve realized that there’s so much beauty in diversity and we’re all beautiful in different ways.
My mom is gorgeous but she doesn’t make me uglier by default, and that realization helped. I’ve also defensively created a Great Personality to make up for how ugly I felt, and now I have the personality and the maturity to realize I was never ugly 😂😩

While I completely agree with the sentiment that Khloe never deserved the treatment she received from the world nor that she was unattractive in the first place, I think you excuse her behaviour too much because of this. While she should get help and move away from the toxic influence and mindset, I can't dismiss what a huge impact she herself has on society because of her platform and she is having a negative influence. Not only has she had surgery and tweakments and photoshops her images, she also promotes diet "supplements" and other diet culture and that's not okay. I personally can't give her a pass on this when she is a grown woman in her 30s (as am I) with a GIGANTIC following (unlike me) and her actions are helping perpetuate the cruel system that so bullied her. She has a vast following and isn't helping the self-esteem of young women like she was, she is part of the problem. And even for all the money she makes, I couldn't in good conscience perpetuate the same cycle as a grown woman to other younger women. What example is she setting for her own daughter even?

I have a lot of sympathy for her but at the same time she projects a lot of her insecurities onto other people. Like in that interview where she basically called bigger people “lazy” as if your body is somehow tied to your morals and discipline and worth as a person. Not to mention the fact that she has had medical procedures and works closely with personal trainers to maintain her physique, which most people can’t afford

I think a huge part of her recent changes is her relationship with Tristan / convoluted love life in general - as someone who has been in toxic relationships/been cheated on it’s so easy to start changing yourself bc you feel like if you’re prettier they’ll treat you better or that they’re cheating bc you’re not pretty enough

I was always compared to my older (by 13 months) sister growing up. We were BOTH always told by family flat out to our faces that I was prettier, but heavier.
It was unhealthy and completely messed up for both of us. I know from being a part of this family in my entire life, that the intention wasn't to bring anybody down, it was meant to bring us up and feel good about ourselves for one reason or another. However it did the complete opposite. I developed an extreme eating disorder, and my sister developed several disorders i refuse to get into since she's not here to tell her own truth. There's been a time in both of our lives that we didn't look human.
We were both competing against each other in completely different categories yet we didn't even know what those categories were and that they were completely unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
It makes me incredibly sad to think of all that we both lost out on because we were more worried about what other people thought of us.
I'd be willing to weigh 500 pounds and be the ugliest woman imaginable by societies standards just to get one more day with her. As I got older I realized that memory with loved ones was all that ever really mattered in the end.
It makes me so sad that they as a family are still more worried about their looks, sponsorships, income, & stranger's opinions of them than they are about their healthy relationships & family dynamics.
I'm the "ugly" sister so I understand Khloe completely it sucks and really does take a toll on you especially when your young but confidence comes with age embrace your natural beauty 🙂

I never watched KUWTK I watched a few over the years here and there and I always thought Khloe was lovely and the most normal out of them all . Then one night I turned over to the Ep were she had been asked to pose for the PETA campaign and she was talking to Bruce ( at that time ) and was saying it was a naked shoot but she would be covered and he flat out said to her face was she going to go on a diet because basically she was fat and needed to loose weight before anyone seen her naked . I was absolutely horrified and heartbroken for her all at the same time . How dare someone who she grew up with as a stepdad call her fat . I always defended her to everyone saying that if your sister is just on 5 foot and your 5’10 then of course you will look big next to them it’s natural. After Bruce said that I never ever watched another ep I felt sick for her , she has suffered trolling at home by her own family and the press you feel safe at home you can escape the bullying only Khloe was never able to get away from it . I can honestly sympathise with her she’s every much dammed if I do dammed if I don’t. There whole families values are wrong and I hope that one day people will realise the actual damage this has done to people
I think khloe is trying to prove she’s as beautiful as her sisters. She was literally always beautiful but the media made her feel otherwise. Remember when a photo got leaked of her “real body” when she wore a bikini and she instantly made videos trying to show that she was way skinnier and looked “nothing” like the picture. It’s just sad:(

While I think that the treatment she got from the press was terrible, because she always was a goodlooking woman, it is difficult to feel sory for her. She was an adult when the TV show started and it was her decision to be a part of it, for sure it looked like an easy way to get money. They knew that their only asset was their looks because none of them had any other talents so it is not surprising that in a society that despises women who are a bit more corpulent than runway models she was treated badly. But instead of doing something against the beauty standards and helping her followers to get more body positive she was part of creating an even more unrealistic standard. A standard that only looks good on heavily edited pictures, but in real life leaves you as a grotesque figure (sorry, but are there really people that think that these bums look good in relation to the rest of their bodies). She is nothing more than a saleswomen for any article that pays her enough money, no matter if it is any good for her following or not. She should not complain about a system that she helped creating. She can step away anytime and do something meaningful.

I just started KUWTK a few months ago and love how bold Khloe is. I just watched the episode today where Kris tries to get Khloe to do the dna test. It always amazes me seeing her Instagram photos because it’s not the same woman we’ve watched grow up, but I have to feel for her in today’s ruthless beauty standards.
What did the dna test say?
@@antiheroine3611 I don’t think she ever took one. Kris, the sisters, and Rob all did DNA swabs, but Khloe didn’t want to do it because she was so sure Robert was her dad.
