- DOVE CAMERON - YOU GUYS ASKED FOR IT! Dove has had a dramatic glow up. Has she had plastic surgery? Fillers? Tweakments? What do you guys think?
I think Dove is beautiful and seems to have a lovely personality to match! She is super successful and has a league of loyal fans who adore her. However it is clear that she has had quite a drastic glow up. Or is that a ‘grow up’? I would suspect that she has had a few tweakments along the way to achieve her Hollywood look which is fine! Do what ya want with your face if it makes YOU happy! This video is not to call Dove out, it’s simply to show you guys watching that even the most stunning, ‘perfect’ looking celebrities and influencers are actually REAL people the exact same as you! Don’t compare your beautiful self to $50k worth of surgery and tweakments!
Love you guys! X

I don’t think these are minor tweaks, she looks vastly different now from her original face. They did a great job though
They're not minor. She got a lot done. She looks incredible but she has said she's very insecure

Agreed, she looks like a completely different person, but it looks tastefully done.

I don’t think her surgeries are considered subtle at all imo. She doesn’t even look like the same person. Even feature on her face has changed and that is so toxic for her to act like that is her natural face for young girls. It’s most definitely not at all.
I definitely could tell she did a procedure on her face when I first saw her picture. It’s quite noticeable
True, it’s so unbelievable how normalized plastic surgery and glow up culture has become in order for these young kids and adults to actually believe puberty does things like this. Yes, if u lose a lot of weight or gain a lot weight, it can change your bodily proportions drastically. If u compare yourself as an adult to your preteen self, once again, yes it can happen. But this doesn’t work after you are a teenager, you will grow into your face and your features will probably even out but your bone structure will not just change its entire shape. Your eyes do not change shape, your nose itself doesn’t change shape, your lips do not change shape, your body structure in itself does not change shape drastically either.
But those before photos are also when she was a child. Her face was still changing anyways.
She’s also never acted like this is her natural face. Just like the video said... Dove has never conformed or denied..
To me i think that she may still be insecure about her appearance and wants to delete/forget her old self because she feels ashamed of how she looked
Personally I think it’s the small, hardly noticeable tweaks that are the most damaging for younger people, especially girls. When plastic surgery is obvious, we can at least acknowledge that that person has just had work done and that’s why they look that way. However, plastic surgeries that look really natural should absolutely be admitted to because those small changes are still projecting false expectations of beauty onto young girls, only it’s worse because its perceived as natural.
Like the amount of girls/boys that probably think hooded eyes suddenly go away with puberty and feel sad that their eyes don’t suddenly become non hooded because celebs lie about getting brow lifts/threads etc
@@nicola4444 I remember seeing old teen picture of an asian artist (16 in the old pic, 24 in the recent one) and someone had pointed out that she had double eyelid surgery, and I kid you not someone replied saying "well you could get double eyelids when you hit puberty!" The fact that she was 16 in the pic makes it even more unbelievable that some people are so brainwashed to believe this whole "glow-up" culture
But they shouldn’t have to admit it if they don’t want to, that’s for them to discuss not everybody else. If people have problems with them having slight plastic surgery, then that’s their own problem. Social media and editing is the problem, not having surgery to make themselves feel better. Maybe if people stopped bullying others and comparing people, people wouldn’t be so insecure. It’s not anybody’s business to force somebody to talk about their fixed insecurities because other people are insecure about themselves. Social media is toxic.
@@nicola4444 yeah like cof cof Bella Hadid
@@ophiana5865 I think in cases like this everybody can assume it's a plastic surgery, but teen fans majority denie it because they think they are protecting the artist who they took as a role model because of the idea that person is just perfect. It's actually quite scaring how blind and branwashed such young people can turn through a fake and projected someone's image, wich is absolutely very dangerous for mental health and self esteem in general, especially among girls

@@sandracesar9694 true plus her real name is also Chloe lol
@@ninalempicka2948 yeah true lol
Minor tweaks?! She's the most noticeable surgical face I ever saw beside the actual life-like Barbie. She got soooo many things done and so young too.
The only thing that irks me about her glow-up is the lack of acknowledgement of the procedures. I understand that she does not owe anyone any explanation but I believe she does have a lot of young fans (due to her Disney work) and simply saying "yes, I had some things done. You can do it as well but you don't have to if you don't want to" would actually be great for her and her fanbase. I know it's a weird comparison, but Selena Gomez, who's also a former Disney star, being open and honest about her health helped a lot of fans to feel like they're not alone. Dove could help a lot of hers, by pointing out that looks like hers (and many other celebrities) are not simply a matter of diet and growing up and that comparing yourself to them is not healthy.
I agree
Absolutely
Yep!
I feel like if people can tell that celebrities have had surgery. Then why do they need to disclose? If it’s so obvious

She looked just like her dad
Dove looked like a fairy straight out of a fairytale book. She was so beautifully unique and I actually think she was more beautiful before
No
bruh what are these replies. I agree, she looks just like everyone else now. She's pretty but she doesn't look like a unique human with interesting features.
Okay, let's not just turn into liars now...
@@gianna526 the people commenting no need to touch sime grass asap 😂😂 people really forgot how real people look like if they think dove camerons natural face wasnt beautiful
I have always wondered why I get that "uncanny valley" feeling of uneasiness when I look at Dove! This explains so much of it!
See, I think that if you’re idolized for your looks and called ‘goals’ when your face is fake/you’ve had multiple procedures done, you have an ethical responsibility to own up to the fact that you’ve had work done. It otherwise perpetuates a toxic standard of beauty that is unattainable to most people. You can change your face with makeup, but you simply CANNOT change your face this much without plastic surgery.
I agree with you, not owning up to it is so so damaging to young girls who strive to obtain the same image of “perfection.” The least they can do is be honest (no shame in getting work done, but the honestly would be appreciated).
@@Lalalabanya exactly! I just think it’s good to be straightforward and to also examine the reasons WHY they felt the need to get such procedures done! Do what you want with your body, but don’t lie about it, you feel?
People with obvious changes should probably own up to it, but when are people going to stop blaming celebrities for children’s insecurities? At the end of the day, children shouldn’t be on social media, people shouldn’t bully others, and compare others, parents and peers should teach kids how to love themselves, not rip them apart and make them feel insecure. I get what you’re saying but people, as in non celebrities, shouldn’t hold them to such a high standard, that’s their problem not the celebrities problem.
AGREED
The only problem with this is what does it mean for women who are naturally gorgeous and had certain features. Who’s fault is it then when someone wants to look like that? Who’s to blame then? People need to learn to love themselves and not strangers
i was just watching shameless and saw her in an episode and was like omg ain’t no way that’s her..... she got A LOT done

@@jessicajames1599 I think season 2
A whole different face….
Her original features gave her a more soulful fairytale look that I kind of prefer to the doll face look but she looks very beautiful in both.
She is the kind of woman other girls look and think: "man, I wish I was born with such beauty!" And then, we discover that herself wasn't born like this! Yes, it's crazy. That's why we should never compare ourselves and be more happy with our natural beauty.
This made me feel better. I didn't realize how normal she really looked b4 all that work. It's so hard to tell these days.
It’s sad that y’all care so much about other people’s faces
@@AC-bk1jg well when the unachievable standard of beauty is plastered all over every form of possible media, it's hard not to compare yourself to those impossible standards. Especially when you don't know what's real. But I agree. I definitely want to care less.

@@AC-bk1jg what’s sad is that these people (mostly women) felt the need to change their faces due to dumb beauty standards and therefore continue to perpetuate them
@@AC-bk1jg true, what if she were naturally pretty...then these people would continue feeling bad and coveting her beauty smh. The issue is not the celeb, the issue is internal.
Holy crap I never knew this, I always thought she was just born perfect-maybe with the exception of her lips. So interesting how we’re manipulated into believing celebrities and influencers are actually born that gorgeous. I think she has had some tweaks. What's ironic is that ppl who are already insecure become more insecure thinking they should look this way naturally but little do they realize that these stars are insecure to begin with and get such tweaks to feel more secure. Think about that lol
Exactly !!
Recently she’s had even more done, it would be interesting to see a part two of this
Not gonna lie I am 22 years old and I always admired how insanely pretty and Barbie like Dove is! I always envied her and was insecure about myself since she looks so perfect and gorgeous. This video is really helpful and I am thankful that you talked about this❤️
I thought about getting a nose job every day between 14-18 years old. I’m 22 now, and I’m so glad I never got one.
Same so glad I never did it, I love my nose now :]
Going through the same thing but will most likely never get a nose job. My nose grew 3 sizes during puberty but yeah. I am 17 and hate it but hopefully I will like it eventually.
@@thephilosopher5799 I have had people called me big nose back in high school. I bet when I had my first nose surgery, they will accuse me that I use plastic surgery and feel envy at the same time.
@@thephilosopher5799 I really hope you're feeling better about your nose ❤️ I'm 27 and my nose got made fun of a lot in school, it's big and has a decent sized bump and I used to just hate it. you will almost certainly come to care way less as you get older. I used to dream about getting rhinoplasty, like I was so sure I wanted it, but I stopped caring several years ago. as you get older and expand your horizons, you will just naturally not care as much about how other ppl perceive you, and will have a much easier time accepting yourself as you are. it helped me to remind myself that there's no guarantee that you'll love your results or even look better with a different nose; you could get the nose job and it could completely throw off the proportions of your face! being a teenager is hard, especially in the age of Instagram and facetune, and it's difficult not to compare yourself to ppl you consider beautiful. we're always our own worst critics. I hope you come to accept yourself exactly as you are, and try not to wish away precious time thinking about how you could be "better", you're exactly as you're supposed to be ❤️❤️❤️

She’s more than definitely had tweakments. But she’s had them done so well that I honestly wouldn’t have automatically thought it. I also had no clue who she is so hello from under the rock!!! Lol
Hi! Just for your interest:
She’s most know for her Disney work:
- Liv & Maddie (she played both twins + occasionally other characters and got an Emmy Award for it)
- Descendants franchise (about Disney villains kids, got Kids Choice award)
She’s also
- casted as Bubbles for Powerpuff Girls reboot
- played in musicals (par ex., Hairspray Live and she sang live on Schmigadoon)
- Appeared on Marvel’s Agents of Shield.
!!! But I’d advise to check out her music first of all - that’s honestly next level kind of songs. She also works on her new music now with Finneas O’Connell, Billie Eilish’ brother.
And on top of that: though she never talked about her plastic surgeries, she’s very open about mental health struggles, social media influences on mental state, public’s expectations and overcoming anorexia. She’s also advocating for equality and body desexualization.
@@tate_n also let’s not forget Cloud 9, one of my favourite Disney channel films of my teenage years 😄🥰

I very much value your continuing coverage of these impossible beauty goals and how unattainable they are without procedures and that you're opening our eyes to impossible beauty standards that not even the said celebrities can keep up with, but I must tell you that every time i see YOU in these posts, i just think, "She is soo gorgeous" - i always take time to admire all things beautiful and interesting 😍
My kids and I watch the Descendants movies and you can see a difference in her appearance throughout. Yes, I know, she did age which will change your look, but she could have had some work done between movies. Not judging her or bashing her for it, just pointing it out
ShortyLove 87 I think it's possible she could have gotten a tweak or 2 in between movies.
I just commented about her getting even more fillers during her career! Can’t remember if it was before or after 2, but if you compare her lips in the first and the last, they got bigger and the little line in the middle of her bottom lip appeared or became deeper.
@@JasminMiettunen also her nose in descendants 2 and 3 looks kinda different
Not to mention that her other co-stars who were even younger than her and was going through puberty looked totally the same throughout the trilogy….and Dove gotten her lips twice a bigger
Recently I stumbled across some Russian Instagram models, and noticed a trend for them to claim that they are ‘all natural’ when you can clearly see they had plastic surgery and edit their photos heavily. Even though I know in my mind that they are lying, it still made me feel insecure af, and I’m a grown ass woman of 26. I can’t imagine the damage it is doing to younger women who use these models as ‘inspiration’.
If you are known for your looks, you have an ethical responsibility to your followers to tell them about plastic surgery and other invasive beauty treatments you get done. You don’t have to go into detail, but don’t lie and claim you are natural when you are not.
The beauty standards in society have gotten so out of hand it’s so saddening!!
You don’t see it as sad for them when it’s obvious they had work done and edit their pics instead of making you insecure…

It's not someone else's problem if you feel like garbage looking at them
If watching her makes you feel so bad STOP watching her. Simple.
Perfection does exist, but it doesn't look like all these plastic dolls splattered all over media, entertainment and social apps.
Perfection is found amongst us mortals, regular peeps, who wear and strut our au natural, even if some think they need to look all plastic fantastic, they still look better than all these sliced, pumped and jabbed celebrities and social media people who are massively insecure.
It's sad that people believe that someone with body dysmorphia is the goal. We are normalising pain into reality, and that's pretty effed up in my books.
Delete your Instagram it’s obviously killing your confidence
I’m so grateful I was born in 1992 where by the time I was a teen social media wasn’t a thing. Facebook was just becoming all the rage. id say we were better off without the social media growing up. the problem isnt people getting work done and not talking about it. the problem is young kids being exposed to everything so easily through social media and then the people who have gotten work done denying it.

she actually had like 4 nose jobs, is the same type of nose bella hadid has and is one that is not recomend due to how difficult is to achieve and the danger it comes with it.
There is no doubt that she had a nose job, noses get bigger over time, they don’t shrink
They absolutely are hurting society! I'm also sick of women and girls saying "if it makes you happy, that's a good thing!" as if suddenly we can't criticise this extremely toxic culture we're living in because "it makes HER feel good!" How about we start asking why these women didn't feel confident before? I remember when a lot of judgement came with plastic surgery, and personally I think it should have stayed that way because now these influential women are teaching other women and girls that if they're insecure about their natural face and/or body, they can just have surgery. Despite the rest of me being very thin I have always had particularly large calves which made me extremely insecure throughout my teenage years, so much so that I was planning on getting LIPOSUCTION on them when I turned 18! Luckily by the time I got that old my stance had changed, but I can't think of a single young girl in this day and age that has never had at least one thought about surgery.
I think parents have a responsibility to keep their young daughters off social media - I mean, the fact that there are 13 year old girls on IG is shocking. BUT, that doesn't stop these influential women from spreading these terribly damaging messages to millions of people every day. They are the ones who started this mess, after all. Also, shame on the surgeons who perform unnecessary work on these poor people. Some of them should be sued or thrown in prison, honestly. In my city every third woman has lips that make her look like she stuck her head in a beehive, not to mention the awful leaking collagen from "anti-ageing"/"plumping" procedures or whatever they're called that are marketed to both older and younger women alike.

Hi Stephini
Loved this video ,so interseting
You look absolutely beautifull as allways ..love your hair and make up
Love the work you do xxx
Thank you again so much for this video I didn’t know she had anything done and was always extremely jealous because I thought she was born with this naturally perfect face just like Kyle or Bella as well, knowing they wouldn’t look like this without surgery makes me feel way better
Can you do Taylor Swift, I think she is really gorgeous and I know many years ago she had body issues and was super skinny and now she feels more comfortable in her body. I can tell she has changed but I am curious to see your thoughts and the overall change!
PS. love your vids SO much, you have really shed the light on bodies and that women are real human beings.

she definitely had her nose done. look at her nose when she first started ..during her pop country phase .. and then compare it to now.
The change is drastic, she definitely got a lot of procedures. I have to say, she looks great
Ive got to say, its fucking sad.
@@Okai3427 it is sad, i thought she looked like that naturally but these videos have really opened my eyes to the unrealistic standards we see on social media every day
@@Okai3427 it is sad. do you think she did her surgeries because she hated the way she looked? no. there are more reasons.
I don't think I'd ever really would want to click on a video like this but omgg Dove Cameron really has been looking different and this supported that for me. Thank youu
I disagree. She owes to be honest (especially when you are a famous person) and say the changes she made because... pretending being natural is a lie and women would keep feeling insecure about their natural beauty if they don’t look like this fake pretending natural apparence.
True that too!
i think so too because she is a disney star so most of her fans are probably younger girls
Nope
I think so to seeing that her audience is younger but plastic surgery doesn’t automatically means confidents. Also she’s been through 2 public breakups and had a super rough childhood
So these same women won’t be insecure if it was real? Lol
Finally! I’ve been waiting for someone to talk about her. Thank you:)
me tooo
I love watching these, really helps rebuild my confidence and self-esteem. I realized I have so much natural beauty. Beautiful bone structure, deep dimples, long eyelashes, full lips, and more. I love myself so much 😩❤️🔥
You put lots of effort for this video, and I love the way you speak.
Stephanie, thank you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, watching you is like I'm listening to a friend (I don't have many girlfriends since I study IT hahahah)! I watched some of your vids a while back, rediscovered you during my summer holidays and I am staying there :) time to fix our mindsets, feel beautiful in our own skin and spread awareness!!! ♥
💗
Thank you for yet another reality check. Love that you are respectful of all the ladies you do these on while also letting us hear that we shouldn't hold ourselves up to the same standards
Another very detailed amazing video which boosts everyone’s confidence! Thank you
I am glad you made this video because this girl is devastatingly beautiful to me, to the point she seems ethereal and unreal ... which she is.
We were just watching Descendants 3 last week, and my brother kept saying her lips bothered him. First I thought it was just makeup, but eventually started noticing that I don’t think she looked like that before. We googled some pictures from Liv & Maddie and while she had full lips then, they were even fuller in the movie. I had no idea she had fillers before that because it looked more natural back then.
Okay, about the dimples, me and my mom have them, but they don't always appear, it depends on how we smile. Sometimes they show, sometimes not :P
I very rarely feel insecure about my appearance, but people who look like Dove will do it for me. It's so important to remember that literally nobody looks like this. Money looks like this--and nothing wrong with that! Just nice to remember that being born like this really isn't and shouldn't be an expectation.
I completely agree, some fairly major things have been done. Thanks for helping us regular people feel not quite so imperfect. ♥️
These videos your doing are so important. Thank you. “Regular” people (like me) need to know that a lot of these beautiful women had work done.
These videos are the wake up call we all need
You are amazing, finally someone who tells it how it is... thank you for that and hope you keep going! 👍😘
ive been self conscious about my dimples for ages I cant believe people are paying to get them! It really makes me think about how beauty trends come and go and how maybe I don't want to change my features, who knows when one of them will be a trend.
Thanks for making the manufactured beauties of today more real for our young women. Your efforts to keep them enlightened, to help them realize that real is beautiful too and they don’t ever have to change themselves to be beautiful are so needed and I appreciate you for it!!
I think she has had work done but it doesn’t look bad 🤷🏼♀️ I like that she hasn’t made her face thinner or more angular. Having a fuller face actually looks more youthful. Women can look too harsh and gaunt if their faces are too angular, and I don’t think celebs will appreciate that look as they age. Dove will look better & more youthful for longer, and maybe that’s why she has opted not to mess with her fuller face.
Yeah sadly I'm stuck with a naturally gaunt looking face and I'm only 24 :(
great point
Oh no my face is too harsh and gaunt whatever shall i do 🙄 girl grow up, women dont have to fit within your stupid standards. There's nothing wrong with looking gaunt, or older for that matter. Women have no duty to go around looking underage.
@@cutieowl347 there are a lot of women with thinner, angular faces that are supermodels. It doesn’t mean you don’t have great facial features, it just means that sometimes it can make women look more mature at a younger age. There are stunning models out there but they just look 45 instead of 25. It’s not a bad thing to have a thinner face but, theoretically, if you have a fuller face you look younger. 🤷🏼♀️
@@verybarebones you aren’t understanding what I was saying. I said that she probably made the choice not to make her features more sculpted and her face thinner because it CAN make some women look older. I was providing the reason why I think she made that specific choice not to change her face in that way.
There are beautiful supermodels that have angular thin faces. It’s just a fact that some women who are 25 can look 45 if they get a lot of work done on their face. If women want to look older then what do I care? I’m just stating a fact that, when people see someone with a slightly fuller/more round face, then they typically assume they are younger. Just like when people see 25 year olds who have sun damage and deep set forehead wrinkles. They may assume they’re older due to them having more wrinkles and sun damage. I’m not judging anyone or being “immature” 🙄…I’m just stating how other people see women’s features. I am in my thirties and I have a fuller almost baby face, fair skin, and no wrinkles because I protect my skin and avoid sun exposure. I can’t go anywhere without being carded. I go on vacation with family to Disney World and the people who work there take one look at me and assume I’m 16 or 17. One time They even thought my best friend was my mother lol! I’m not saying it’s a good or bad thing, but I just know I will be thankful that I look younger than my age when I’m older 😉
When I lose weight my dimples show more I hold a lot of weight in my face and it seems to make them disappear. They’re not as apparent as hers though when my face does thin out. Thank you for the awareness you bring with all of these videos! We’re all beautiful and we all have the right to choose what we do to our bodies. If I was in her situation I probably would have done all the same things but it’s such a shame I wish none of it even existed and we could just all love ourselves
I follow Dove and her career very closely and I can absolutely agree with you about her procedures. They were done pretty gradually through time, so it always looked minor or barely noticeable with each one, but the before to now is STARK. I love her though. She's always been a beautiful person inside and out and is wildly talented.
I love these videos it makes me feel like it’s okay to be normal to have days when I look tired or leave home without contouring my big nose lol thanks so much for this!!❤️
these videos raise my self esteem so much because I realize that the people I compare myself to (which I am working on not doing that) aren’t necessarily born like that and I should never compare myself to celebrities
you shouldnt compare yourself to anyone, celebrity or not
I like how you talk positively about her natural features, but especially how you still compliment her tweaked characteristics
She's famous, if she wasn't beautiful and perfect, her career wouldn't have been so successful. It's so sad :(
Actually the reason why she got surgeries so young is because her mom wanted her to be famous. That's why she approved. Theres a reason nose jobs shouldn't be preformed before a certain age because they're still growing. That's why the tip of her nose looks off. I believe her mom wrote a book on how to make your child famous
Girl what? Dove didn’t get famous from how beautiful she is. She got famous playing in popular Disney shows.
@@star9835 Well luckily for her, her mom made the right move. Sad society is like thus bur play the game or get left behind. Zendaya also got little surgeries and now she’s considered the most beautiful girl in the world
@@astrog4rl They’re saying she wouldn’t have gotten picked to play the lead if she didn’t get surgery. Which is true. If you’re not beautiful or playing a role specifically made for avg or unattractive ppl you aren’t getting picked

Videos like yours just helped me realize that I should stop comparing myself to other people when most of them got somthing done (which is fine but then I shouldn't compare yk)
of all the celebrities i find myself comparing myself to Dove the most, so this video was such a particular comfort 💓 love you Stephanie!!
Same!
Is it wrong to say I like the lip fillers on her? I tired it once, but it only lasted 3 weeks. I think my running and cycling is not a fit for keeping filler.
But she really looked kinda angelic gothic with the small lips and round face.
it is wrong because her injections are obviously fake and ugly
I don’t think it’s wrong at all. We are allowed to have personal opinions and tastes. I think her before mouth with her cheeks looked very cherub like, too! You’re not the first person to have physical activity dissolve their fillers faster! They should explain that more in depth imo!
Same girl! When I used to get filler it never lasted long on me. Apparently if you have a fast metabolism it doesn’t last as long.

I love your attitude towards what society sees as flaws as normal and beautiful♥️
The dimples that are made surgically are always visible, even when the whole face is completely relaxed unlike real dimples.
I have four dimples, two on each side, and when I was little I hated them. I purposefully made my expressions in a way that none of my dimples were visible. Now I don't mind them, and I'm trying to "relearn" my original smile, still sometimes I notice I'm smiling in a way they aren't visible.
With a really good doctor, it would look like real dimples.
@@lestatlouis47yui Look up how they are made. No matter how good the surgeon is, because of how fake dimples are made, they are always visible.
@@-Anjel I saw that as well. There is a page on Instagram for a doctor who does this procedure and in every patient you can see it even when they are not smiling and have no facial expression. It looks fake and weird because of that
