wtf happened to kendall jenner's face...?!

  • Kendall Jenner - the most ‘natural’ Kardashian / Jenner sister… or at least she used to be. It seems to me that in the last year or so, Kendall has began to pretty drastically alter her looks, and she now looks extremely different to how she used to look naturally. It’s not surprising really when you consider the family that she’s from, and the environment she’s grown up in, and the career she has… but it’s a little sad. Considering Kendall already basically naturally fits today’s current ‘beauty standard’ it’s a little sad that it seems she may have felt pressured to alter herself. In my (non expert) opinion, I believe that Kendall has undergone a nose job, eye and brow lift, cheek filler or cheek implants, lip lift and lip filler. So many people wonder why these influencer celebrities had such favourable ‘glow ups’, and why they haven’t morphed into supermodels themselves, but i think it’s important to realise all the subtle tweakments these influential people have had, in order to constantly be keeping up with the beauty standards, and morphing themselves to fit them.
    What do you think?

The problem is that she doesn't admit she had plastic surgery, I mean it's pretty obvious for most of adults but since younger people also watch her, they're pretty vulnerable to believe that her change was all natural.

    • @WhitneyDahlin
      @WhitneyDahlin Před rokem +57

‼️yeah I agree! I think she does look older unfortunately. The problem with plastic surgery is it's addictive. No one tells you that but it's just as addictive as anything else is. It's a slippery slope to go down. Before you've had any plastic surgery done your face you're just like oh I would just do this one thing I would just get a nose job and that's it then I will be completely happy with what I look like. So you finally get one. But then 6 months go by and since your nose is fixed you start focusing on another minor imperfection and be like well I never noticed this before I'll be completely happy once I get this fixed too. BUT you will NEVER be completely happy with what you look like. Period. Even the most beautiful people in the universe still see flaws when they look in the mirror. As we can tell from Stephanie's channel. That's because if you can't be happy with what you look like before plastic surgery you don't have the tools or ability to be completely happy with what you look like after plastic surgery. That's why it's a slippery slope to go down and you always end up looking worse in the end. I think the Kendall and basically everyone who's had a lot of plastic surgery looks much older than they actually are.

I'm 15 and I got nose fillers last week because of these standards
I completely understand her trying to fit in because the problem is people

I understand some Botox to prevent, but taking the bigger steps make you look like an older person trying to look 20-something again. Instead of actually just being a 20-something. I feel like so many young kids now have shifted to basically believe life and beauty ends at 25. It’s so scary and sad and I can understand the desire to then overcorrect and do all of these procedures. Beauty has seriously gone off of the deep end. I'm pretty sure it's that leftover patriarch mindset because men are the one's who push that "25 yr beauty limit", NOT women.
According to what science now knows, our bodies & brains continue to mature through the late 20s & we're not considered fully mature until about 30. The only thing we reach by 18/ legal adulthood is max height & the ability to reproduce. Physiologically, a lot more is still happening for a whole decade after that. My mind was blown & I honestly felt lied to when I started to really learn what goes on with the body vs what we're fed regarding age.
Tbh, fillers don't look good irl. They look okay on camera because camera lenses tend to make ppl look more gaunt & depleted, PLUS there's all the filters to trick the brain into seeing something entirely different. In person though, there's almost always something that looks "off" when ppl have had things done. Lots of risks with it as well.

I'm 26 and I'd be open to getting botox for 1 reason - chronic migraines can be treated with botox in the temples and jaw. If you have a wonky jaw where the muscles in one side are significantly stronger, it can trigger migraines. I'm already on prescription meds for my migraines but if I get flair ups, I'm going to see my gp about jaw botox to help reduce the likelihood of migraines. If it doesn't work, I won't bother trying it again.

Botox is a preventative measure against wrinkles. Many cosmetic professionals recommend starting preventive treatment in your early 20s. I started at 18, and the difference it had made to my quickly aging face, a primary factor being genetics, was substantial. I would advise anyone judging others for getting Botox (especially in their younger years) to educate themselves on why today's youth are starting treatment earlier and the positive outcomes on one’s mental health and self-esteem. Love and Light to all 💕✨

Yes. My lips are naturally small because of my dad. But I have my mum’s small nose, small eyes, and tiny ears. Big lips wouldn’t suit my face anyway. But my ex friend tried pressuring me into getting lip injections because she felt insecure about her lips and my cousin (A boy) told me my lips are so small, I need lip injections. Most people wouldn’t care about lip size if big lips weren’t on trend. I wasn’t bullied about it in school. I will never try and change myself to fit into society. The pain and money isn’t worth it. Getting lip injections is giving people who are born with big lips naturally a massive ego boost. Beauty is suppose to be unique. Some people think small lips are unattractive and some people think big lips are unattractive. No one is ever going to have the same opinion, so appreciate yourself the way you are. I’ve also noticed makeup artists only use models with big features. It’s probably because it’s harder to do makeup on smaller features.

Cheek filler is always about definition, but the problem is that it doesn't do that well. Implants have a very hard, bone like look and are actually doing a good job at it. Also definition ALWAYS makes you look older and that is the whole reason why so many people look better in their late 30s or 40s. The things is that if you have a strong bone structure you will look more mature, but your face won't sag as much as you get older. Also the more gaunt you are, the less fat you will lose from your face as you age and again, less sagging. Basically looking older and more structured is aesthetically pleasing, when you're young and it helps you as you age. There really are no down sides unless you naturally have no definition and are trying to add it in

Although there is no downside to strong bone structure, there is a downside to being gaunt. Faces with little fat make a person look older, especially as they get into their 40s, 50s, 60s, and above. Fat fills out wrinkles and gives a youthful look.
I saw Sharon Stone in person when she was 50, and because she had so little fat when she was younger (even though she had strong bone structure) she looked older than her age in person. She was very wrinkled all around her cheeks and mouth.
The truth is that there are so many components to aging well. People forget that even something like skin thickness matters. It’s a losing battle for most of us so might as well accept ourselves.

Thank you so much for gracing us with your wisdom today, Stephanie! You ALWAYS make my day 💙
I have to agree with the other commenters saying they take issue with the lies & overall lack of transparency. Though I do feel sad that she felt the need to go to this level of transformation, any sympathy I feel disintegrates for people who deny these procedures bc it is so damaging specifically to young fans.
I've been self-conscious of my thin upper lip since I was about 8 yrs old in 2004 & though I haven't entirely ruled out doing something about it ONE day, seeing the results on people like Kendall really discourages me from it bc although she still looks great, that size just doesn't suit her, much less with such small teeth. I'm not sure why but it looks...wonky? for lack of a better word 😩
also, I have to mention that prior to discovering your channel, I was DEAD SET on getting my upper lip filled and/or lifted & as I said, I haven't ruled it out, but today, I feel I can be confident with or without it - ALL THANKS TO YOU 💙
