  • Breast augmentation aka the 'boob job' is the most popular plastic surgery worldwide. It's almost harder to find women in the public eye who HAVEN'T felt the need to surgically alter the look of their breasts, than it is to find women who have. It seems like every influencer, every successful model, every actress, every singer has had their boobies changed. Which begs the question. Why on earth, are we so insecure about our natural boobies? Why are we so ashamed of them, that we undergo SURGERY in order to alter them to look more aesthetically pleasing? Just like bodies in general - boobs come in all different shapes and sizes. Sometimes, different shapes and sizes on the one woman. It's NORMAL to have one boob bigger than the other. It's NORMAL to have 'saggy' boobs. It's NORMAL to have small boobs. It's NORMAL to have big boobs. What's NOT normal however, is for us to all have the exact same boobs. Let's stop this damaging normalisation of breast augmentation surgery (with all the potential side effects and recovery that it entails) and start normalising different breast sizes and shapes.

    Ok - first off:
It's odd that we are judging what a woman does to her own body.
    Secondly:
Let them figure it out for themselves. They will learn.
    Thirdly!!:
Chill OUT with all this hyper judgment to feed to the masses. What happened to 'live and let live'?! Or is it 'once it goes onto social media, of any kind, its free game to pick apart' now?! I just dont get it. WHY WASTE YOUR DAMN TIME ON THIS NONSENSICAL GRIPE?! We have DECADES of this crap. It isnt new. Its exhausting.
There is SO MUCH to learn, to do, to be happy while not bickering over someone else's PERSONAL life (they OBVIOUSLY DID IT BEFORE POSTING SO YOUR OPINION ISNT GONNA CHANGE THEIR MINDS!!!) choices because youre making the correct ones for your own dang self 🤷🏻‍♀️💡
I fully understand commenting on this helps boost this video but come the hell on --- move on!!
Your life is your own - so go live it, happily (film THAT), as long as you're not causing harm to anyone (just like these women in the video).

Breast asymmetry is a common and completely normal occurrence in women's bodies. It should be accepted without judgment or concern. Getting a boob job was and still is the biggest regret of my life. I was modeling back then and felt the pressure so I jumped on the bandwagon without thinking of the possible consequences. I ended with with breast implant illness and had them removed. The scar tissue around the implant had adhered to my chest wall and my surgeon had to scrape it off along with a lot of my natural breast tissue. I am now a 32A and was a small 32C/large 32B naturally. While the implants themselves don’t cause illness it is a foreign object in your body which causes inflammation and puts your immune system on high alert. High inflammation is also very aging. Our immune systems get weaker as we get older, so what your body can deal with in your 20s changes in your 30s and beyond.

I was 21 in 1988; living in LA, the pressure to get BA was intense. I was an A cup (on a good day), and huge, round, fake-looking silicone breasts (“80’s Boobs”) were the rage.
I am SOOO glad I never succumbed to the pressure. My body was/is beautiful, and best of all, it rarely gives me any problems. Though I think people can/should do what they want with their bodies, I wish more women felt like I do about what they’ve got.
Best of luck to you. Perhaps, one day, you’ll be able to go bra-free when you’re an old lady like me!
**NOTE: My comment is really meant for us “bitty-titty” girls; I do want my “bountiful bosom” sisters to share the same body confidence as I have, but I realize that it’s “easy for [me] to say.” Breast reductions are often done for different reasons than BAs, and I don’t consider the surgeries in the same way.**

And my boobs are still amazing. I honestly think breastfeeding kept them perkier. I hate that boobs became a sexual object to where women feel like they need to have bigger perkier ones to please men. I don't give a s*** what men think about my boobs. Because of the breastfeeding, my breasts were swollen and covered in stretch marks, causing them to sag due to gravity afterwards. It was difficult for me to accept my body's changes at first, especially since my tissue isn't as firm as it used to be, and I naturally have very bad tissue. My stomach is also covered in stretch marks up to my belly button. I was always a gradual developer, and I didn’t realize how your body can sometimes come to its final form later- let alone your late 20s/early 30s. Give yourselves a chance to love your bodies before you change them.

I always hated my boobs. Particularly, I’ve always thought they’re too small and I hate HATE how they look kinda pointy from the side which makes me super insecure and makes me feel like I still look adolescent. My ex used to make comments on other women’s big boobs in front of me, it just made me feel worse, even though he said he loved mine, seeing him only comment on boobs bigger than mine made feel so insecure, even to the point where I was convinced that was why he cheated on me. But I have slowly started to learn overtime that I’m very fortunate. I’m a 34C, they’re not as small as I think, they’re a handful. Plus, I never have to wear bras (unless I’m at work, in another professional setting, or when I wear clothes that make them look even pointier) because they’re perky and don’t cause me any back pain. The pointedness always bothers me the most but that’s just a common thing for perky boobs. I’ve wanted a boob job since I was 13, but now I just feel lucky to not have big boob problems.

Most think the biggest risk is being "botched" or looking "plastic", but there are way bigger dangers. Breast implant illness is barely understood but all signs point to it being very real, and far more common than previously suspected. So many women struggle with weird symptoms after the surgery, like odd body odor, insomnia, digestive issues, joint inflammation similar to lupus, overall a huge decline in quality of life etc. Any time you put something "foreign" into the body, be it a hip transplant or boob implants, there's a chance of the body rejecting it or responding poorly, but breast implants have this particular issue of... they don't appear to actually be air-tight like previously thought. Women are getting their implants removed and finding they're full of pus, mucus, blood etc, realizing things were leaking both in and out. This is a serious problem and I wish more people knew about it before pursuing the surgery. There is so much we still have to learn about these procedures and too many doctors are making false promises to line their pockets. I'm generally in favor of plastic surgery but what with capitalism, there are many who will underplay the risks to make a buck and you have to be so, so very careful when making the decision.

Thank you! I really needed this video. Not only do many other women in my life have boob jobs, which makes me feel a pressure that I’m inadequate without one. But my image/ perception of my natural breasts without a bra is completely contorted because they don’t match up to the standard of perfect roundness and fullness that a fake breast achieves. I feel insecure without a bra. I feel that I’m less attractive with smaller breasts, and that I don’t meet the expectations of today’s beauty standards. It’s hard, that pressure is present and felt very often. Consequentially, I grapple with the idea of if I should get a boob job or not. I don’t really want one, yet I feel that my body looks flawed without it. I never understand when women I know, that have gotten boob jobs, tell me not to, it feels so hypocritical. I’ve been struggling a lot with my body image recently and your videos keep me grounded and humble. We need more people like you making content like this. You are making a difference ❤

I've been going through my journey of self acceptance and sis, it's been hard! I got pregnant as a teen and didn't really take care of my skin so I have my tiger stripes on my belly. Any one who has had a baby knows that, even when you lose weight, your stomach just isn't the same. I breast fed my son so my boobs are definitely not perky anymore. I still have days where I look in the mirror and can't stand my face, though some days the way I wear my hair changes how attractive I consider myself. Your channel has been helpful and healing for me. I grew up with a really health conscious mom who is now realizing she has body dismorphia so her insecurities got passed to me, even if she didn't mean it. Even as an adult I still get that judgment feeling from my mom. Love her to pieces but sometimes I just want to put her on mute.
Thank you for the content you put out. While I'm not thrilled with my body I am getting to a place of accepting my body for what it is, and my focus is now on how functional it is and not necessarily if I fit the beauty standard. It's been pretty freeing.

Thank you for making this video. I had no idea so many of the models and actresses that I have compared my body to have had boob jobs. I'm grateful to know that they used to have a body like mine, or they too had insecurities over their small boob size. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who has felt like my boobs need to be bigger or perkier or perfect to be beautiful and womanly. I like your message that "our femininity does not depend on how big our boobs are." That, essentially, we are already feminine the way our boobs naturally are. I'm not less of a woman just because my boobs are small. Big boobs are beautiful and fun and sexy, but they aren't "better" than small boobs --- I think this is a good and powerful reminder for me. It makes me better appreciate my body. Thanks again!

If I was bullied and made fun of by men, it sounds like you would have backed me up and been on my side. But because what happened to me went against your misandry, you call me names. Lol alrighty

Love your vids so much. I just turned 33 and my weight has been up for about a year. It’s just not as easy as cutting down my food intake for a week as it was in my 20s lol! These videos remind me of the fact that even at my lowest weight or when my skin is perfect or I have a face full of makeup it really does t change who I am or how I see myself on the whole. I plan on having a child in the next year as times ticking away and your videos help me remember what’s important and that cosmetic surgery or changes on the outside aren’t the be all end all. We all have worth no matter our shake or size ❤ boobs or otherwise haha!

As somebody who has had open heart chest surgery (heart condition), I would 100000% not want any kind of surgery at all going on around my tatas. I already have a scar going down my cleavage, I don't want any more surgery on my body, unless I'm getting a facelift or whatever, which, thanks to plastic surgery being totally normalized, I am now comfortable with going, "if I had the $$$, I think I'd get a ponytail or face lift", but, I also, thanks to your videos, don't think I'd get one and I feel comfortable being me in my own skin, like, legit, I'm not kidding, your videos have helped me so so so so much that I thank the lord/universe that you were born and are who you are.
Back to boobies, I am not pleased my tatas are starting to age, but, I lost a really insane amount of weight (23lbs in 7 days) while I was going through withdrawal (long story, it was not from addiction), and it LITERALLY changed the shape of my tits, and, it makes me sad, but I'm just glad I still have titties, being totally honest, cause I could have had to have a double masectomy, and I thank god I haven't needed that. I am worried about what my upcoming surgery will do to my tatas (heart surgery), but, I guess I'll just have to hope for the best. Thanks for the video, and I know that you said you're making this for yourself, and I hope that you can feel comfortable in your own skin. Wishing you the best.

My chest is uneven - an entire cup size different between the two. I have never had any desire to get breast implants or surgery. One girlfriend of mine had a leak in her implant and she was horribly sick for about a year until they figured it out and my sister-in-law recently had a breast job and her body started to reject it and was literally pushing it out. Multiple surgeries for both of these women.
Men have uneven testicles, so if they can do it, so can we 🙌🏼
