Today, I'm taking a look at a vintage packing puzzle from the 80's called Ice Java. It's a creation from Toyo Glass and the goal is to fit the pieces of ice tea , the straw and the ice cubes in to the glass so that it fits nice and snug! Enjoy!

I think a seriously under rated element of these videos is the slow smooth jazz in the background. Makes these videos so relaxing.

Packing puzzles are really fun. I especially like it when they hold themselves together once finshed

I like puzzles like this where you have to fiddle with pieces for a while. Honestly, sometimes I even just listen to the audio of this type of puzzle solving videos because the jazz and Chris's calm voice makes me relax after a long day of working with noisy children. 🥰 Sometimes, simple can be just as good and entertaining as some of the more complex and intricate puzzles he solves.
My brain hurts trying to do these puzzles but you make it look easy! Love the collection you have! Bit of a glitch in the middle tho... looking forward to that!

@@craZ_Raven520 at the end of the video he said something about we’ll see in about two weeks. So it’s most likely just another little hint for us to keep in our pockets untill some big release and then it’ll become apparent on what all the little hints were for
I think it has to do with his new channel I had to pause and rewind 5 times to catch the binary on my TV then a few seconds to decode

This was such a beautiful video. It calmed me down. The jazz background music. The clinking on the glass. This was sooo relaxing for my overactive mind.
That is the most calming video by far. Just perfect the way the puzzle looks, the camling voice and music with a bit of tension.
@chrisramsay Your comment about these puzzle types being meditative made me this of a very unique set of 2D jigsaw puzzles I was recommended some time back from a Canadian company called Stumpcraft that are absolutely gorgeous and were similarly meditative.

Great looking puzzle I remember doing these style puzzles in some doctors offices when I was a kid.
Sequential, locks and mystery escape rooms are my favourite. This packing puzzle was wonderfully relaxing, sounds like asmr.

Heh, the kind of puzzle I could never do. Outside odds I could **mayyybe** figure it out, but I'm so ham-handed, doubt I could have stacked the pieces out beside the cup, let alone got my fingers inside it while moving pieces around. Totally mesmerizing watching someone else pull it off. Well done!
I love jigsaw and packing puzzles that are 3D objects. The whiskey glass one was fun. I remember my uncle had a wooden car puzzle. It was like 6 or 8 pieces and was super simple solve but it looked so cool.

Great puzzle, I felt very relaxed. I enjoy all the puzzles, but I think my favorite ones are along the big futuristic internal timer ones. I wonder how they accomplished all those weird cuts/molding the individual pieces? especially if this thing was made in the 80s, that takes away a lot of today's (relatively) easy solutions that I could think of
that is an excellent question, i wonder that too
Most likely they used molds for the individual pieces. It would be almost impossible to handcraft them exactly the same for all the puzzles they produced.
Still a very impressive and beautiful puzzle!
This is a refreshing puzzle.
I kinda wanted a hidden ut when he finished. The last piece slides into place. The puzzle turns into real tea. chris takes a sip.

That's always the thing with these puzzles, they are usually easier from the top down, but you also have the container. It's a balancing act of figuring it out without the aid of the container, and then putting it in the container
This one is hard to see the differentiation in the pieces because of the low lighting. Otherwise really cool little puzzle. The color of the pieces, the satisfying clinking, and the form factor are great! Awesome video as always
I have Broken Box from Pelikan. It's very versatile. The box consists of 2 halves. It has magnets and you can create 6 shapes into which you have to put 9 pieces. There are even several ways to do it for each box configuration. Yet I find it gruelling and so does Puzzlemaster. It's great value.

Side view camera in addition to top down view camera? Could be cool to occasionally splice in the side view on puzzles like this. Or perhaps do a video in video situation to show the side view if it provides a nice view?

Ive been here since it was a magic channel. I bought the momento mori cards they are heavily used but still got em. I have been here a while nice to know that we are now known for puzzles.
