Today, I'm going to attempt to solve the Slammed Car by Juno. This sequential discovery puzzle won the grand jury prize at IPP 39 in 2019 and has lots of secrets, tools and surprises! Enjoy!

Putting multiple pieces down the slot was a clever move. That wouldn’t have occurred to me.

I think the battery's main purpose was to block the channel you used to push out the back license plate. Not a tool, just needed to be removed to gain access to the channel to the back of the car.

@@gerard7171 oh you’re the creator! Turtle Trip Nod is genius. It’s fascinating the way you create these sequential puzzles. I’d imagine a it’s a fun headache?!
@@ShaneP803- For Turtle Trip I started with the lock that I wanted to use as the last step and worked backwards from there. Slammed Car was existing puzzle and the main challenge for me was re-designing it to make it 3D printable.
When he was putting it back together and put the turtle back, I screamed in my head "Why are you putting the turtle back! The point of a prize is to KEEP IT!!!!" LOL
He put it back just so he can like give it to his friends or someone and they solve it and see the prize. He does that with every single puzzle he does.

I think the car battery was just an aesthetic piece to help keep the wrench in place but removable because you had to get behind it to solve the next part.
@@morphingjar it was also used to block off the little hole needed to unlock the back license plate.
I love that this just looks like a toy car but then has so many hidden layers, it’s really cool. Took me back to the childlike wonder days. I liked the really cute turtle trip reference too.

I'm just starting to watch this video and I got as far as two minutes 18 seconds I'm not sure if this is 100% true but I feel right now the printed version would be easier due to the fact that it has multiple colors which makes it easier to see versus the wooden version that only has two different colors

I liked the simple background during the solve, sometimes I get caught up looking at everything around it placed so methodically and have to keep going back

I'd love to see this go into full production rendered in aluminum or a mix of metals, i.e. copper for the rims, anodized aluminum for body, steel tired etc.
Another fun video BTW. Always entertaining and one of my favourite ways to procrastinate when I really should be designing toys.
Aww I am in LOVE with the little prize!! Turtles are my absolute favourite animals, so that would have been 1 of the best prizes I could have won. The puzzle looked a little bit tricky, but not unsolvable! I think overall it was a pretty entertaining puzzle and I really like that it looks like a mini car. 😊
One of these days, that button at the end is gonna end up being a puzzle itself.

This is such a cute little puzzle!!! I'm just picturing a kid playing with it like it's a normal toy car, then accidentally discovering that it's actually a puzzle with such pure wonder as they solve it. Absolutely magical.

I think the battery was there to hide/disguise the slot that runs from front to rear.

When the enchante music is back 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 - Super interesting puzzle - I was interested to see how the puzzle would play off of the inner workings of a car and if it would open in ways a car doesn't just to be extra tricky and mess with your mind.

Probably already been said, but I think the gray battery was just there to block that channel you slid the tools down to get the rear plate out. Kind of a misdirection piece.

The battery blocked a strait view of the little tunnel, right? It is just there to help hide and conceal the next step. That’s my best guess

11:40 I would use the metal pin that slid out of the most recent piece to see if it fits in that tiny hole.
