Love it. I'm not really big on the hidden components, unless there is the satisfaction of knowing you're progressing. In this case there was tells, in that you could hear and feel the way you're to continue (if that makes any sense). I'd certainly struggle with it more than Mr. Puzzle did! Thanks to all involved bringing this to us :)

You have made yourself a problem now, mr. Puzzle, at least as far as I’m concerned. You can never ever ever make a video without a gadget anymore. I love them almost as much as the puzzles. This puzzle was brilliant, and in my opinion your explanation was possible to understand even for us who would never attempt to solve it because we don’t have the patience to do so. Or the brains, for that matter. Always looking forward to the next one.

No way Chris Ramsay solves this in the logical way you did Mr Puzzle, he's just a random theory merchant. You mentioned that you are an engineer previously but I'm leaning towards locksmith now. Great video and explanation.

The symbols on the puzzle are the traditional icons for the four elements. Earth Water, Wind and Fire.
I don't know if it's the same but it looks like the patterns for the four elements in The Fifth Element. Awesome movie if you haven't seen it btw.
Where's that introduction music album at? Every single one is incredible.
I had to return mine because the bronze pins were locked together and would not move when the whole thing was inverted.
I had to soak the whole piece in lubricant oil and then the bronze pins just fell out.
Getting a replacement to see if the same manufacturers defect has gone.
The original name, fireplug, is what fire hydrants used to be called when they were first invented. If it were red or yellow it would definitely look like a hydrant!

Here's a great maze: how to move the volume knob so that my ears are not assaulted by ah-oh-hah-oh-pseudo-music but so that I can still understand words and hear the clicking noises. It's like a reaction game.
