- Baldur's Gate 3 Gortash Gloom Stalker Assassin Solo Flawless Run | No hit | No Triggered Traps (Fancy Foot Work Achievement *No cheese*) on Tactician
During this battle, I made full use of the Bhaalist armor's Murderous Aura by precisely moving my character. In all honesty, Orin's Dagger will make this build much better, but as of this playthrough, I haven't killed her.
Muticlass: Level 6 Bard (college of swords), Level 3 (Rogue Assassin), Level 3 Ranger (Gloom Stalker)
Gear:
Weapons: Gontr Mael (Bis bow for this build)
Mainhand: Knife of the Undermountain king | Bloodthirst is a better version if you’ve slayed Orin.
Offhand: Rhapsody | Grants Scarlet Remittance for some more added Attack Roll DC or guarantee crits if consumed. Killing 3 enemies in a row won’t be a problem with this build.
Helmet: Sarevok’s Horned Helmet (Obtain by slaying Sarevok)
Cloaks: Cloak Shade-Slayer Cloak (Found in the guild, sold by Sticky Dono)
Armour: Bhaalist Armour Obtained by becoming a Bhaal Assassin (Unlocks a trader) | This is the best chest piece in the game, its what makes this class do more DPS than Paladin.
Gloves: Craterflesh Gloves Sold by the same trader after becoming a Bhaal Assassin | You can also settle for Flawed Helldusk Gauntlets from Dammon or Gauntlet of Shar for the 4 Necrotic Damage |
Boots: Helldusk Boots | Evasive Shoes | Bonespike boots or even Disintegrating Nightwalkers are all good choices
Rings & Amulet: Surgeon’s Subjugation is the best against all humanoid enemies, the best combo for guaranteed crits from Killer’s sweetheart or Luck of the far realms as you can 100% proc the paralysis for 100% crit on a single target.
You can go for Amulet of Greater Health or Fey Semblance Amulet if you’ve completed Mayrina’s story.
For this video I opted for Surgeon's Subjugation Amulet
Ring (1): Caustic Band Ring for additional 2 extra DPS
Ring (2): Killer’s Sweetheart

Pre-buffing is essential for this build
Any type of haste | Potion of speed | Celestial Haste (Requires Concentration)| Haste spell (Requires Concentration) Note: You can throw Potion of Speed on the ground before a fight to ensure you gain all 3 turns of Haste.
Murderous Aura from Bhaalist armour, anything withing 2meter of you are vulnerable to piercing damage
Drakethroat Glaive (provides elemental buffs until you long rest): This elemental sets your weapon to the “elemental condition” which gives you more advantage to your attacks.
Staff of Arcane Blessing for bless (Mystra’s Blessing doesn’t require concentration).
Act 3 Statue for 5000 Gold for permanent bless buff
Tharchiate Vigor for extra 20 temporary hit points (obtained in the sorcerer sundries vaults)
Oil of Accuracy for more attack rolls
Zaith'isk buff (All Illithid abilities are now bonus action)
Flying: If you embrace your illithid potential you gain access to Levitate | if not you can collect a
bunch of potion of flying throughout the game and gain the same benefit.

Bloodthirst Potion (Grants additional action after killing an enemy)
Elixirs of Vigilance if you want more initiative (Useful in fights against Cazzador or Yugnir).
Elixir of Vigilance increases chance to hit critical by 1, stacks with your build.
Important buffs that can significantly help:
Long Strider (more movement speed)
Enhance Leap for jump distance (good if you don’t have any flying potion or Illithid levitate)

Damn, I thought having any kind of levels into ranger would be boring, as I’m not into bow combat. This looked very nice though. I was wondering if you could share all of the buffs you currently have in this fight, and also share how to get them please? I’m trying to learn buffs and their importance.
not to be a hater or anything, but man its a pain to see ppl apply "guranteed crit abilities" to a nat 20 :(

this doesn't work on honor mode
I keep seeing people use rhapsody on their offhand but that doesn’t apply in the off hand right? It only applies to offhand attacks not all attack rolls?
Since Bloodthirst is typically used in the main hand for that extra piercing vulnerability, Rhapsody ends up being placed in the off hand.
However, the nicest thing about Rhapsody and the reason it is used in many builds is Scarlet Remittance, which grants +1 bonus attack for each kill (up to a maximum of 3).
It's fantastic that Scarlet Remittance can also guarantee critical attack rolls once consumed.
