All I feel is an abundance of emotions when I hear this. 5 guys playing and singing from their hearts… sending love from Melbourne Australia to these guys…
In 1987 I was 14. KEEL went to my local record store to sign albums. I took my copy of The Final Frontier and had it autographed by the entire band. I was so proud of that thing. Then when I moved out of my house at 17, my mom was so mad at me that I left. She wound up cleaning my room and that album went out in the trash because she was angry at me. It’s 2024 and I’m still mad about that 😢
As a teen that would hurt because your Mom had to know how much the autographed album meant to you. As a Mom fast forward many years...even as mad as I have been at my son through his addiction behaviors ( now clean and sober 14 years) I could never fathom throwing something he treasured away just because I was hurt or angry. I am sorry that happened to you. 😢
I was 16 and loved this song, but you young people, please realize, we all didn't really change clothes every other scene in 1986. This was just the video style to show that we could actually do different styles of clothing. And music! The video was key, always.
I too found that part of the video to be particularly moving. She reminds me of a girl I knew 12 years ago and will never forget.....Marissa Corinne Vertullo.
I heard this song when I was in high school (2008) through a friend. Unfortunately, long story short, he was very insufferable and I only hung out with him out of sympathy.
Keel was a AWESOME band. I burned up 2 cassette tapes. But in case you didn't know. The Metal Cowboy and the boys are still rocking and rolling under the name Ron Keel Band. Still sound AWESOME. Look for songs Girls Like Me, a cover track of Homesick, Here Today Gone Tomorrow. Keep Rocking Ron and a shout out to Geno.
Back in the days when a song actually had a message and was actually sung by the artist. This was the such a great time to grow up in, oh Lord how much I'd love to go back to those days.

I'm lucky to have been a teen during the 80's. Nothing compares.
GROWING UP IN THE 1980'S AS A TEENAGER NOTHING ELSE COULD COMPARE - THIS DECADE WAS THE BEST . ...

The best band of all. I missed the Ron Keel show in Bogotá, Colombia, but I hope Ron comes back someday.
Growing up with older siblings, I listened to Motley Crue, Ratt and Judas Priest but I discovered Keel recently. Glad I did 🤘🏻
This song brings back my childhood memories.
LOVE that girl at 1:41....only knew they had a video for this song recently and that girl stood out so much.
Keel should have been huge!! Very talented band!! Bad management etc ruined this band!!

2011-2014 in My high school years, I loved this tune!!! That acoustic guitar made Me want to show My crush how I felt about Her!
I heard this song when I was in high school (2008) through a friend. Unfortunately, long story short, he was very insufferable and I only hung out with him out of sympathy.
Heard this tune in 2016 my freshman year of high school! Times fly!

I love Ron Keel’s keytar!
I truly believe that keystar killed the band...unfortunately.
