Who has forgotten how Father Philip treated his eldest son Charles, calling him a jerk? Philip was smart. CANCER at the age of 75, along with dementia and other old people's affairs, is the END. Charles likes to sleep with the devil. He doesn't care about the beautiful Diana and his sons. Although they are the best and dearest thing in his worthless life.

Charles wasn’t forbidden to marry Camilla. If he had put his foot down,as he later would do, he could have gotten his way, but Camilla actually wanted to marry Andrew-Parker Bowles who was the most eligible bachelor of the time.
Diana was sure that she would marry Prince Andrew when she grew up. Her family took to calling her Dutch because they were also sure she would marry Andrew and become a Duchess. Once Diana realized that she could actually catch Charles, the chase was on and facilitated by her family.
Diana feigned interest in Charles’ interests and hobbies (Balmoral, fishing hunting, etc.)-basically, she pretended to be who Camilla is, a hunting, shooting, fishing, reading country girl. Then as soon as they were on their honeymoon (most of which was at Balmoral), Diana declared each of his interests as borrrring. When the honeymoon moved on to Balmoral she would have have fits of screaming and crying when he wouldn’t do what she wanted when she wanted him to do it (the court was at Balmoral for the summer so there was official business going on and many witnesses). After the honeymoon she proceeded to, one by one, separate him from his friends (he would give in to avoid conflict with her), then his staff (who would quit because she would not look at or speak to those she wanted to leave.
In her mind, she loved him, but then attempted to change everything about him, and if he wanted any kind of peace, he would comply. Diana and her family, particularly the Spencers, were very ambitious and misrepresented who she was to the RF, particularly regarding her emotional health & stability. The Spencer’s actually had a bit of a reputation for unstable men (Diana’s mom cited abuse in the divorce), but the RF didn’t think the mental issues affect the Spencer women. Diana actually refused to cooperate with mental health professionals provided by the RF when they realized how unstable she was, and wouldn’t accept mental health help for years (yes, the RF tried to get her professional help) until a friend threatened to out her bulimia to the press because she was afraid it would kill her.
And that is just how she treated Charles. As a grown woman she held hostility towards her mother for leaving her abusive father (her mother took Diana & her brother with her but lost custody), pushed her 60 year old stepmother down the stairs (long after Diana married btw), threw her stepmother’s things out the window in trash bags after her father died, fired one staff for claiming expenses with the palace for some trips with Diana (completely legitimate expenses), and fired another who was the currier delivering tapes to Andrew Morten for her for accepting reimbursement from the publishing company.
The virginal “Shy Di” persona was completely a creation of a press. A bit like the common impression that the Queen Mother “sweet ol’granny.”

You do know that Diana was, struggling with mental health issues, borderline personality and paranoia being some of them.. and was the main reason, that her marriage was a living hell, to both herself and mostly her husband...
I am a big fan of Diana.. she had great ideas!!! She was no saint, but a human!!!
Saying that she was honest and respectfu to the Queen is just not the truth.
She was working with people from the media, under most of her marriage.. and she was spreading a lot of misinformation and Lies, in tabloids, books and interviews..
Sorry but Harry is doing, what his mother did to Charles and the Queen.( he is just stupid to)
Try to go back over just, some of her claims , and put it into the timeline!!!
The last couple of years, she was getting her life, and mental health issues, under more control...(I respect her enormously for that, that must have been a hard struggle)
King Charles is the one with great Hart, and his have been so respectful to Diana's( his boys mother) memories. There is so much evidence of her behaviour, and extensive infidelity, and he has chosen not to use it... Not even to rehabilitate his or his wife's image.. and Frankly he could easily have done that!!!
Maybe you could read, Lady Campbell's book "the real Diana" , Penny Junor's book
" the Duchess " and Angela Lavin book" from outcast to queen consort "
I know that lady Campbell also wrote a book called " Diana in private" ( the first book about Diana) but I haven't read it yet myself...
I actually think that king Charles has been dreading that Harry maybe, has some of the same mental health issues as his mother... And it is the reason that he has been, trying to help him, and praying

Until a VERY recent change, the line has always passed down the male line. Queens only happened in the absence of male heirs. So Princess Anne was always behind all three of her brothers, and then Prince Charles' sons took precedence over the brothers. However a recent change now means that should anything happen to Prince George, Princess Charlotte would succeed to the throne.

Related to her country - She might have been a good queen . But, as a mother in law of a very young bride like Diana she was not a good mother - in law especially she s a queen ! an older woman , why she did not understand the pain of a young woman betrayed by her husband ???. Diana was too young and her 1st man was Charles - Diana was a virgin when she married Charles . Elizabeth preferred Charles to marry Diana because Diana was still a virgin , that's Royal regulations.....! Why Elizabeth did not know that Diana was too young , no experience to be wife , Elizabeth has refused to help Diana when she approached her for help .That s heartless ! She s lucky having a good husband and she did not care about the heart breaking of the others !. As a queen , what message she wants to send to the youngs when betrayed by husband ? .She's a Catholic woman ,.she seems.not care about the Christian rules ? Divorce is unacceptable??!! the wife of a Prince of Wales has the courtesy title of Princess of Wales and she was EX wife,
she would have only been Princess Diana if she had been a Princess by birth or created a Princess,

HRH Princess Diana should never be compared with any of the other women……simply……Diana was from the House of Spencer Churchill and was a royal in her own right with the expectation of being able to live her life as a respected part of the family and all this was reduced to rubble as if……Diana is incomparable….a stunning English beauty and graceful in body and spirit….not to take away……but to compare is to set a bar too high for the rest…..rip HRH Princess Diana

I've seen many comments about him being effeminate, but the only ones who actually know for sure are he and Sophie. He comes across to me as a shy, sentimental and unafraid of showing his soft side, such as an artist or poet would be.

I think ultimately Diana was an unfortunate pawn… the intimate sacrifice to keep the family relevant in the minds. I dint think she was ever meant to make it.
And who better to sympathize with than a normal person. A princess of people’s hearts.
And they succeeded. Years after her death, Di is still one of if not the main draw. Especially now that the queen has passed.
