      What about 2021 ram 5500. They have the stupid 19.5s on it so tallest tire is a 34... so switching to Northstars I was going to do.
      Can you clear 40s with a 2.5" leveling kit, and a front bumper swap?
      Thanks in advance

    I have Carli Commuter with BFG KM3 37x13.50x18 21 2500 6.7 with either 0 or +20(not sure which offset I have) and there was minimal rub after some trimming but zip tie the plastic back no rub on road but still some offroad under max articulation. Wish it was 12.50 instead and would probably have no rub so when this set wears out will probably be 37x12.50x18 KM3, love the KM3s amazing off road tire.

    I'm running 37/12.5/17 Nitto Trail Grappler MTs on my Power Wagon with 0 offset Raceline beadlocks. Stock suspension. Had to do plastic trimming and grinding/cutting of the pinch welds. Still rubs a little on the radius arm or sway bar when fully locked and guaranteed rubbing when fully articulated.

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  Před 11 měsíci +2

      That's a tough tire since those and Toyo MT have such large side lugs that they actually run way over the stated size. Moving to a Ridge Grappler would actually gain you a bit more room. That said, those Trail Grapplers are hard to beat in mud and crawling terrain.

    I have a 2010 Dodge ram deez, that I was going to put 35's on. But now I'm wondering if I can go to 37's. Only have a RC 2.5 in leveling kit on it, no other mods, or upgrades of any kind. Not sure of what tire I will run, but it will be made in the USA, an a MT of some brand, unless you can recommend a foreign mt tire, money being a big decideing factor. Kinda lost on this offset aspect, but sounds like 25 offset would be right. Wanted to stick to my factory wheels, but from everything I watched an read, this may not work, not against pushing the wheels out some. As I have 3 in fender flares that were given to me for my truck. It is 50 % on road an 50 % offroad. But I live in Fla, an we have swamps with muddy dirt tracks, hence the reason for MT's. As I 've almost got stuck on muddy jeep tracks in our area with street tires, an we flood alot during hurricane/rainy seasons, not looking to relive any of that. BTW, I'm a retiree an built many big rigs 40 yrs ago, an not looking to build big rigs anymore, more about dependability an getting to my hunting spots in the woods, Any help would be appreciated, thx Bill

    Random question... I have really considered buying a Carli 3.25" system from you guys for my 2022 Ram 2500 Limited 4x4... I have also been weighing the 35" vs 37" but one of my bigger limiting issues is my garage. I live in Colorado so I like being parked inside on colder days (keeps the truck warm). My garage clearance is just under 95". Would you guys mind telling me how tall one of these newer Ram diesel 2500s is (include the satellite antenna please) with 37" tires and a 3.25" Carli lift?

    Haven't done a lift yet. how would 37's fit on a stock 2020 3500? Was thinking +20mm or so would be the least amount of trimming. The truck came with mudflaps but im guessing i'd probably have to remove them on the front either way?

    • @CJCOffRoad

    Really need some help with something that isnt talked about that much on these trucks. For a guy who likes to hunt, late season hunts can snow and ice in addition to mud and uneven two track roads. To run v bar chains on front and rear in bad snow and ice conditions, can you do a video that incorporates THAT factor into the lift/ tire size/ offsets, etc please?? This video was real information for tire fitment on these trucks, but overlooked that key factor (running chains). Great info though...thanks! I keep looking at these Rams, and at some point will have to decide what direction I want to go for a solid hunting/daily driving/ camping/ all purpose truck

    • @CJCOffRoad

    How would I fit 37s on a stock wheel

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  Před 4 měsíci

      Running stock wheels with 37s is a bit tricky, since the factory wheels are +40 offset which is about 20-28mm too far in. As a result, you hit the radius arms and sway bars with the tires when turning lock to lock. You can either cut the studs and run a bolt on spacer that makes up that gap with the stock wheels, or go with an aftermarket wheel in the right specs. Since we aren't too fond of cutting wheel studs, we'd suggest the aftermarket wheel route.
