The 4th Gens were the last of the good Cummins/Rams. Just stay away from recall 67A unless you want More EGR dumped in your motor and burn waaaay more DEF. The 4th gens up to year 2017 easy to tune.

The reason no one can tell a difference after the recall, there is none. All it does is recalibrate your DEF Level gauge. You will now go through more Def fluid because now the truck won't run right if you run out. That's all it does

Tows my 8000 lb travel trailer to up and down mountain passes to Moab with ease and then off roads when we get there with ease as well. The transmission is not great but it works ok and the exhaust break is so good that it will actually slow me down on 6% grades going 65 so instead of break applications, I need gas applications if cruise control isn't on.

I've quite literally ordered some 2014-2020 GM conversion mirrors for my RAM 3500. its bugged me to the point where the couple hundred bucks for the conversion is worth it to me.

I think the difference between Alex's truck and TFL's truck is more the usage than quality contrôle, diesels like to be worked(expecialy with dpf and scr), if you just start it to go 5 miles to the grocery store it does not have the time to properly warm up and the "anti-pollution" system does not have the time to clean itself
Another reason that most people that want a hd truck but will make it work rarely should buy a gas instead of a diesel

I have a 2006 dodge 3/4 ton only problem was the transmissions. Shifting in and out at wrong timing. One set of injectors and 278, 000 miles would not have another lifetime oil changes are one of the keys. Also alot of freeway miles.

Brother has constant issues on his GMC Duramax trucks. I had nothing but issues out if my GM trucks. Done with them.
Toyota or Dodge have given me excellent service

Old style mirror’s don’t break down and now you have more electronics that could cause problems and the cost to fix .

Wouldn't you put a bar on the back side of the muffler, and not the front? Why not just cut the muffler about 7 inches? I just had colon cancer, and the surgeon cut out 7 inches of sigmoid colon, a sigmoid colectomy, and I feel 1000X better. LOL Cut the exhaust pipe far away from the tire.

    1. Ford has twice as many recalls than any other mfr. Yes they have a 10-speed transmission but that is the cause of most of the Ford recalls
    2. Every vehicle has recalls
    3. Cummins engines are known for being durable, and that is why the majority of hot shot drivers use RAM trucks
    4. I have 37s on my RAM 2500 just like the TFL RAM 2500. As per the dealer, if you get a flat, you can not use the stock spare. It will mess up the speed sensors. You need a 37 inch spare
    5. I know this is counter to what TFL does, but you guys should keep that RAM 2500 and see how many miles you can put on it. The new RAMS or GMC / Ford models are way more expensive than that one. Just keep it. It works so why get rid of it?
    6. TFL is awesome.

I have never heat of a hot shot rig that had a problem with exhaust treatment on these trucks because they run 500 miles each day so that’s goes to show you that these diesels have to get it up to Temp and work that motor and these trucks are not good to drive 5 miles trips so if you bought a diesel because they are cool and I would say that most of these are not work trucks and that’s why they have all these problems with exhaust treatment problems.

Diesel trucks are not good off road driving trucks the front end of these trucks are so heavy and the lighter the truck is the better the do off roading and I had a new 1973 keep CJ with a 405 v 8 and it was a beast and really was bad ass when we put a650 Holey on it and you could pull the front end off the ground about a foot. But nothing could keep up with that keep off road and snow and it had locking hubs and manual lockers front and rear .

Only. 28,000 miles on my PowerWagon. I off-road, not overland. Towing 10,000 lbs is plenty. Not spending a fortune on diesel fluid and def. Gasoline has been around 150 years. No need to change. Climate change is real, but NOT from fossil fuels. The Earths axis has rotated a few degrees. All the EV's will do, besides being very inconvenient and heavy, is use their heavier weight to pollute tires and brakes so badly they are worse than a V-8. All these idiots spending a fortune do is lower their safety and net worth
