We have one sitting in our shed that was my husbands parents. It’s probably 100 yrs. old. It has solid steel wheels and still works! It will give you a workout for sure! 💪🏋️ 🙏💕

Very good thank you - I just ordered this exact same mower - my yard is pretty small. Shouldn't take more than 30 mins to do the front and back. That looks pretty easy to push. When I was a kid - these mowers were hard as heck to push - of course I am much bigger now lol so I'm sure that helps too.

The two open ended washers clip onto the two lil nubs after you put the base bars on. There’s a grove they fit in.. just push them on until click. Thanks for sharing. Great review.

I am looking at one of these on Amazon and our front yard is smallish compared to our back. I can’t stand using gas mowers (the smell and noise) and our electric mower has a loose plug-in that falls out frequently. I care for my mom and she’s picky about frequent lawn mowing (I’d be happy with every 10-14 days, but she gets antsy after a week). Thank you for the great review, I’m grabbing one of these.😊

These are perfect for small yards, take up less space in your garage, and save on gas. I bought one of these as an experiment and have now decided not to go back to gas or electric mowers.
Also forgot to mention you need to keep the blades Sharpe with a file every 100 uses :)

The wing nuts go on the inside, if you drop the bolts in on the outside they actually have a grip built in.

I have a reel mower and use it occasionally when there's not much to mow. It works ok but not nearly as good as a gas mower.
Your right they are handy but not as good of a job
I hear cutting with a reel mower protects your grass more. And cuts down how much water you need to feed it.

I used this mower one year. I didn't like it.
with gas over 5$ a gal this might come in handy! the key is buying a blade sharpener if you sharpen the blades it will cut the grass like a hott knife to butter!
@@ScottsHonestReviews You will have to mow the grass in 4-5 days again and change the cutting height of the grass so that the mulch is as small as possible to allow it to rot. If more than 1/2 cut grass is left on the lawn, then your lawn will slowly die out. This mower brings a lot of trouble: time, energy and maintenance. This is for those (tenants) who do not care about the condition of a healthy lawn.
@@nick5738 I guess we differ on opinions since I've been using it on a area in our back yard since I bought it with no issues to our grass
@@ScottsHonestReviews This mower is good to use in an emergency: for mowing grass in ditches where a conventional mower is not able to mow, or when a conventional mower breaks down temporarily. Plus it doesn't have a big box to store it in the garage.
