  • As we arrive at Aberystwyth Station early morning number nine "Prince of Wales" is being made ready for her official re-launch in Invisible Green before we board the train for a ride to Devils Bridge.

Many thanks. Aberystwyth was my home town and I've lost count of the trips we made on the VoR. The revelation is how quiet and smooth riding the locomotives are when standing in the cab. My wife's Grandfather. Llew Jones (who I never met) was a driver on the VoR and his wife (whom I did) loved to travel on the footplate with him. Wow, how much I would like to experience that!!!!

Prince of Wales looks stunning! Some excellent footage of a beautiful railway setting. The Worth Valley can't compete with this! All in all, a great video. Looking forward to Part Two.

I cannot tell you enough how pleasurable it is to watch your videos. You make very professional videos. No rapid zooming and rapid swinging of the camera or shaking like the fool is standing on a shaker table for mixing paint.... What an absolute pleasure. Thank you for a fantastic job.

This one of the nicest steam videos I have seen. A great blend of footplate and track side footage. Thank you very much.
The trains in the landscape are "picture perfect"
Thank you for not covering the train sounds in music.
"Invisible Green" is my favourite loco colour.

Nothing like the little Welsh narrow gauge trains. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 @20:00 @22:25

Good video, as usual, great video footage. That little engine has some power and acceleration. Some good footplate shots

really like this one, unusual for there to be views from the cab, as you don't have those very often. Also nice to have a little bit of commentary as i don't think I have ever seen one of your videos where there was any commentary before.

At 7:53 there is a big new shed which didn't exist when I visited in 2010.

I like "invisible green". Like "Improved engine green" in that it's not really green at all.

Such a fine livery on such a smart tank engine, isn’t it? @19:35

(13:55) & (20:20) Has this loco both coal and water at the left side box? What's in the right box?
