Brilliant filming of a 'full on white knuckle ride." Always watching out for your scintillating videos. Never been disappointed. Many thanks for providing my enjoyment.
Hi, was nice speaking to you, always nice to get in contact with new follows, by the way daly Dale is station on Peak Rail, I think we were there last year.
Not much room on the footplate, penny was helping the gaurdsman on the way up, we rode down togther on the way back, coming up in part 3 along with some shots of no 8 on its way up.
A lovely little compilation there. Thanks for sharing. Out of interest, where was the shot at 6:25 taken? I can see it overlooks the reservoir, but I can't seem to find the exact point on the map. I'm heading there myself in just over a week and would like to seek some of the spots you have shown here.

22mins of pure heaven...fantastic :)
Excellent video, best Ive seen in a long while. Very good editing captures the atmosphere of the journey plus superb scenery.
Excellent as always, also liked the really good handheld shots of the red kites. Regards, Pete
Great quality video! I like the Cambrian livery on the Rheidol tank! 👍 @10:20 @16:55

Just been chatting to you and Penny in the woods in North Anston, and am already enjoying the films, I'm sure I can smell the steam!

Thanks great ride
Love the terrier.
Even though i like the rheidol can't help but think that if some defoliation took place it would surely make the line a whole more dramatic
Can I know where to capture the view with landscape?
lovely ride in nice Welsh weather! Wonderful view at 17:27. Was Penny on the footplate with you?

Was your little dog discerning? Did Penny ever show enthusiasm for steam compared with diesel?
What's the train's speed on this trip, please anyone?
About 12 mph.
Much appreciated! With all the landscape views this must have taken three days to video. Who do I need to ask for a footplate pass?!!!!! ;-)
Penny

Hah. Nice reply.
You must be watching the England/ Italy match too.
Nice ride. I have two questions, 1- What gauge is the track? It looks like a near row gauge. 2-At 4:10 min in, What is that species of hawk?
+Marty Jeruzal 2 foot gauge and the hawks are Red Kites
+Pete Knight Thank You Pete. Trains and Bird Watching are my big kicks. I don't see Kites where I am in the USA.
