We use those for scuba diving in a dry suit. only the hose is very flexible and short, which is attached to a one way valve mounted high up on your thigh. The valve is naturally called a pee valve. If you look that up on diving retailer sites, you will see what I mean. Thanks for the chuckles and the interesting demonstration.

Dude, I have 4 broke ribs, broke shoulder bone, fracture knee (lets say stupid, I got knock off a 20 ft ladder)......and I have been following the Icarus race from day one....but this vid made me laugh and hurt :) at the same time. Hats off to all the pilots on the icarus race......
Funny as hell but man that is genius, I kinda wondered what y'all did because most this terrain is not easy to land on. I'd totally get this if I were doing this race.
