Honestly, I've seen 4B to help heal women's relationships with men more than anything. Taking a break and not constantly going on terrible dates just makes them less on edge in general towards all men. No one is going to find connection if they are stuck on a treadmill of failed connections and panic.
Exactly, the idea that letting go of a date may be letting go of your soul mate is not real.
I’ve used the “This what I get for giving an ugly dude a chance” but what I meant is that damn he cheated just as much if not more than the attractive guy. Also an “ugly” guy who’s funny and dresses well with a nice career will have more social currency than an attractive boring guy. It’s more so like damn you’ve spent 2+ years pursuing me just for me to give you a chance and for you to do me dead wrong. Honestly you could’ve left me alone.
And That's definitely a good point. Guys like that could have left women alone.
But that quote "giving an ugly dude a chance" is not always a clear indicator.

Yeah, this discussion definitely made me think about the implication of that phrase. Y’all made great points, I just wanted to clarify from a woman’s POV what was being said although I can’t say that’s what every woman meant by that statement. But for most of the women who i’ve been around that was the sentiment being shared. However, I don’t think I will ever say that again. It’s a put down to your partner that you chose for good or bad.
I usually never watch podcasts, but I really enjoy how calm and relaxed the vibe is here.

Dating someone with that motivation rarely, if ever, works out well. The woman generally gets treated like s--t. So I don't recommend it at all.
I agree. It’s not about thinking you’re better than the ugly guy. It’s when you compromise your own standards on the advice and influence of other people and find the same trash treatment, you feel doubly duped. Especially because men are not encouraged to do the same thing.

Yeah, I had kind of a Homelander sympathy vibe about Tate the other day seeing that clip where he describes his father in a deeply abusive way, but the way he talks it's not treated that way, in a moment it made me feel slight sympathy for Tate as I realized his upbringing probably contributed greatly to why he is the way he is today, but a traumatic childhood doesn't excuse his bad behavior in adulthood that he definitely knows is wrong, so I struggle to feel too bad for the guy.

On this topic about women enabling patriarchy, I think what people fail to understand is that women are no more compelled to reinforce patriarchy than men are, despite men having more “privilege”. I, like FD Signifier once said, don’t really enjoy how one sided these convos tend to be so it’s best that we acknowledge that patriarchy is for the most part genderless
literally yes lol. that’s what i hate about most of these podcasts on both sides. they pretend as if it’s 100% the oppositions fault and they are the complete victim and while objectively women ARE the victim in this patriarchal system, it always annoyed me how left podcasts pretend as if women are complete angels unless they wanna lambast todays pickme of the day i.e a justpearlythings or candace owens. they very much do contribute to it too (especially when you consider how some of them raise boys) so i’m glad to see them acknowledge that without being scared that they would be playing into redpill nonsense or have them think they’re on that side lol.
