    The details of the SWORD are wonderful. I knew you'd surprise with a new groupset, but I didn't think you'd refine so many interesting details.😊

    The sword group set looks nice. I'm glad the shifting cable is routed under the bar tape. That's one thing I don't like a out my Advent X.
    Are you going to release a hydraulic groupset in the future? The mechanical brakes are the only reason I want to switch to Shimano GRX in the future.
    And hydro-mechanical calipers are too expensive imo.

      We get this question constantly and the answer is maybe.

    Can these be installed with a 2x10 Microshift thumb shifter if you don’t have drop bars? Does it matter if it’s the mtb or road thumb shifter?

      Sorry for the late reply! For flat bars, this group is compatible with Advent X. We are releasing a bar end shifter set as well, which will be available sometime this summer.

    Is it going to be possible to use the 1X cassette with this DR (after switching the cage) and the 2X up front for bikepacking? Cheers.

    • @microSHIFTTECH
      @microSHIFTTECH  Před 11 měsíci

      No, unfortunately. The 2x crank has a 17t difference between chainrings. The 1x cassette has a 37t difference between the small cog and large cog. That adds up to 54t of capacity that the derailleur would need to take up. To do that, you'd need a much longer cage than either our 2x or 1x cages, and it might be so long that it would scrape the ground.

      @@microSHIFTTECH Fair enough although if you are not going small to small and large to large it's not really that big. I realize you have to assume the worst here. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing the groupset out in the wild.
