Kudos to microSHIFT for the release of the Sword groupset. Looking forward to videos of the 2x setup.
perfeito, perfeito, completa aula muito obrigado
No info on Sword clutch maintenance :(
I got the micro shift road schifters for Alfine 8 gears is whas amasing and jet i can´t wait 4 Sword
I take it the shifter has a spring in it for the small paddle? Also I'd be curious is there would be someway to get a 48 cassette working on the 2x.
they have 2x version already
@@ondrejmanych5688 yes but it doesn't accomodate the 48 tooth, only 38 max cog despite having a greater capacity.
@@JohnSmith-ox7xc Oh I see now. I was mistaken that it is the same for both.
To use an 11-48 cassette with a double, you would need an incredibly long derailleur to take up all the chain slack. Like, it might scrape on the ground. So, it's really not feasible for us to make something like that, unfortunately.
when will this be available for purchase?
Parts should arrive at distributors this fall, sorry I can't be more specific!
Can I install a bigger front sprocket to 1x10 Sword?
Yep!
Still cannot find the sword rear derailleur, any closer ETA?
And also the advent x ver.2 rear derailleur availability?
Ver.2 just hit the US, it's available at a few online retailers and your local shop can get it too.
When? Tons of great reviews, can't buy the 2x10 drivetrain anywhere. WHEN will we be able to purchase this?
Apologies for the late reply. Sword is selling better than our distributors predicted, so it's taking a while to become available again. If you see some in stock, buy it!
Hi. Is it compatible with Deore XT 10s shifter?
THX 😁
You might be able to get it to work, but it would not be optimal. Fully compatible with ADVENT X however.
My gravel bike came with an 11-51 10spd cassette. Can the Sword derailleur go up to 51?
Hard no! The ADVENT X Ver.1 rear derailleur had some wiggle room to go to a wider cassette, but Ver.2 and the Sword rear derailleur are limited to 48t.
@@microSHIFTTECH thanks. I'll keep my Advent X derailleur, but I'll definitely get the Sword shifters
Is 2x setup fit with 50/34 - 11/34 gearing?
Our 2x system uses an 11-38t cassette and either a 46-29 or a 48-31 crankset.
@@microSHIFTTECH 46-29 with this casette sounds pretty awesome for a hilly area. What about doing some adventure/bikepacking version of this? That would basically mean fitting the smallest small ring possible and bigger one. I think people would love that. There is a hole in the market and you have to hack something to make it.
Where to buy?
It's not in stock yet, should be available globally in the fall.
this ticks allmy boxes, when avalable in EU?
Should be available this fall!
If i've found this video earlier i would install my grx 800 derailleur in 30 minutes instead of 3 days
Hindsight is 20/20 . . .
