I respectfully disagree. There are many people who have followers who do very bad things. Not all leaders are doing something right. Bosses are a type of leader. But a bossy person enjoys telling people what to do for their own pleasure. But effective leaders do it because they wish to guide people. But I still love your family. I just would hate them to think of a boss as something bad.

I think a leader is someone who doesn't know he/she is a leader: he or she just does what is right without expecting others to follow. But others follow because the leader is kind, and brings joy and positive thoughts around him/her. Also a good leader knows when he or she doesn't know something, he/she is not afraid to say "I don't know" or "I was wrong"/"Your were right".

My 2 year old son just "Mama I'm a leader" and I said Yess you are baby !. I'm a single Mom. My son's father was killed in 2017 . And my Husband left us last year. You, my friend, are teaching me alot . I'm literally mommy , daddy, teacher , barber , doctor ect... A leader is assertive a leader is quick to listen slow to speak and slow to get angry. And a leader never puts terms and conditions on love.

They need to be reassured that they are loved and valued. Hi Glenn! I don't know much about raising kids as I am not a mother, but I really find it interesting and powerful how you often tell your kids to repeat phrases like "I am strong". You know it reminds me off the begining of one of my favorite books/movies, The Help (Kathryn Stockett), when one of the protagonists who is a maid and takes care of a small girl repeats to her that she is "kind", "smart" and "important". Can I ask you why you do that with your kids ? Like what made you want to empower then with words when, I think, most parents don't even think about it.
Anywho, I think the education you give to your kids is really really interesting: you teach them how to be good people by using words they can understand, and even if they might don't get it the first time, they'll maybe be able to grasp the concepts sooner than their peers
