We need randomly generated Morrowind back at one point, but in a way that would allow a more varied class, quest and traits. Each time I see these stream I feel some nostalgia towards kung-fu skeletons, nord mages being a public menace, vampires being wary of what time of the day it is outside and Redoran fighters battling sneaky fish.
Or the nutty Bosmer supremacist getting wrecked in the first cave.

MWSE couple months ago remade map so you can scroll it all the way to edges of Tamriel. Single float precision bug causing jittering of distant npcs remains.
Invisibility on touch is really usefull in that one Redoran quest when you have to bust noble's son out of prison. Invisibility on both of you and run for it, or murder whole household.
There is decend mod flom last modathon "Temple Master" adding questline about PC being appointed master of Suran Temple with decent apartment inside. Sadly it's chain of gloryfied timers.

Absolutely thrilled to see you playing Morrowind again, Dave. Magic boxer is indeed a fun and unique build. In no time you'll throwing down room consuming absorb fatigue effects and cold clocking everything down with the daintiest flourish. The bonewalkers in particular have a pretty goofy set of animations for passing out.
But if you bad mouth enchant one more time and I am turning the revolutionary war back on. The skill that allows seamless access to all classes of magic with a magicka bar as large as the soul gems you've owned? The skill that renders each cliff racer a tiny magicka potion and each worthwhile daedra and piece of finery a whole new spell?
Enchant is a unique and delightful little freak of a skill, Sir. Honor her. Maybe give a dedicated enchanter a try some day.

The mainland Temple stuff is a lot of fun, especially around Almas Thirr, so excited to see you play through it! Also, I do like the unedited VODs just cause it's a better downtime experience to see all the wandering and suck like, plus jumping in and out over a couple days is fun too.

Sload soap is made out of sload larvas. :/ They have different morality system, if at all, but I doubt they use it themselves for cleaning.

First I’d like to say a nice video stream though put together here, and I hope for your continued enjoyment with the game.
Though sir I’ve got a game request for you, since I’ve got no other known my on my part to ask this or if you even consider requests for new game series. But either way I would like to know if you would consider one or both of the to options I present to you for future videos, both with similar narratives.
The first being a new empire at war play-through playing as the rebel alliance from where you left off, a sequel story if you will.
The second and final, being a another cold waters campaign, this time taking place in the Pacific in the year 2000, either playing in a American sub, Australian sub or finally if it’s possible, a British sub commanded by the same chap you played as in your 1984 NATO campaign.
Anyways to finish this outrageously long comment off, I’d like to say a very good job on your other ongoing and just finished series, they’ve been marvellous.

18:40 I kinda get that. I think Guides are good for games where you want to go in as blind as possible, where if you don't care as much, an LP could be better. Personally, I watch LPs of games I either already know, or have no intention of playing and ignore guides. I may look up individual mechanics, but not a guide. I'd only cut dead air from an LP, long walks and stuff.

The cat's out of the bag, the people in charge of writing legislation rarely have a concept of how it works and how people interact with it, and it seems a lot of how AI is either used or implemented is really sketchy. Hey Dave, I'm looking at the battle with the nix hound at the beginning of the video, and I'm wondering why you're not trying to avoid the attacks of the hound? you can run right and left, as if dodging, and plus Sally's attacks will be more diverse. This works more for swords, with a sword you can make cutting or stabbing movements depending on the direction of movement of the character, but with bare hands the animation will at least change, not so much health will be lost and the battle will be a little more exciting 😃

This might be the time I try out Tamriel rebuilt. I’ve played every few years since the first time I got the game (on the OG Xbox!), but never tried the TR stuff.

I tried getting into Morrowind myself, because I love Oblivion and Skyrim, but I just couldn’t. The thing that bothers me the most is the lack of markers and direction. The game kinda just leaves you to figure everything out on your own, and for someone who knows nothing about the game and its world I was so damn lost. I got so frustrated I dropped the game entirely, because where’s the fun in searching things up? With that being said, I love your channel and your Morrowind gameplays. Even though my knowledge of the game is very limited and it isn’t a game I personally enjoy, your videos are very entertaining. I enjoy Elder Scroll gameplays, especially the long ones. I like to have them running in the background when I’m reading or playing video games.

I tried to get into Morrowind, and well, to be honest, this was more of a stability thing. The game would just crash consistently on me, only with QoL mods (very minimal) installed. I may give it another go, I know there is a lot of lore there.
However, my reason for posting is that I have followed you for years on youtube and that is not how I pictured how you looked. It's interesting when you see someone's face that you have never seen.

Honestly I liked enchanting in Morrowind, especially early game, it did get a bit wonky trying to make anything high level but I loved making some low to mid level equipment for any mage or mage adjacent character (which is most of my characters in Morrowind especially)
As much as this is going to hurt me because I don’t have a pc to play proper Morrowind, it’s a SorcererDave Morrowind playthrough… I must watch.

I respectfully disagree with your point about Morrowind being the last ES game with cool spell names. I distinctly remember Oblivion having some cool ones like "Baronoff's Bloody Icicle" which does 30 points of frost damage.

I love your morrowind content and am stoked to have another stream uploaded. I am, however, saddened about all the AI talk. I hope you don't support AI generated images as you don't support AI voice acting. Image generators steal from real living artists to mash up their images just as the AI voices you say steal from voice actors who don't consent to their voices being used.
You should check out the mod "Amazing Balmora" in the next playthrough, it is truly fantastic and more immersive
As far as the Boomer vs Gen Z/A gameplay issue is concerned, every person I know who actually is a member of the Baby Boom generation who actually takes the time to look at gameplay content either falls into the "Why would anyone want to watch other people play video games?" category or else into the hyper edited, only exciting/funny highlights reels category. Social media (Facebook especially) has ruined the 60+ crowd's attention span too. I think the long form Let's Play crowd is mainly, I suspect, Gen X and Millennials.
