There should never be a day to celebrate anything to do with Russia in any European country.

A little know fact is that the wealthy Polish & Lithuanian magnates bankrolled Kings of England. The English always paid, they knew a massive Polish army transported in Dutch ships might come to collect. We Poles love England, mutual admiration.

The Polish people once seen as backward came to the UK and left with a bit of money and know-how, made Poland a leader in the EU and Britain was happy to have them, turns out they are some great people with moral values.

The USSR refused to sign on the 8th because the German signatory did not have a high enough rank. They got a General for the 9th.

Really it was the Americans that defeated fascism. Russians and China would been defeated if, it wasn't for the Americans supplying them with military equipment and food.

Britain supplied them as well. Lendlease from both Britain and America helped them.

Excellent segment! Russia was in bed w/Hitler until Operation Barbarossa. They invaded Poland from the East while Hitler invaded from the West. Russia was/is the same as the fascist Nazi State. Poland had to suffer too many decades under the USSR. We in the USA have much love & support for Poland❤Slava Ukraine💙💛

There were two Polish "armies" one forced to be part of the Russian alliance. They literally were the major factor in the USSR surviving WW II. The USA and UK sold them down the river and the Russians murdered or sent vast numbers of these heroes to Siberia for their efforts.

What do you guys think about returning the Ukrainian borders to those of 1918 preSoviet as war reparations from Russia & that way Ukraine can keep the Kerch bridge ?

    •  Před 12 dny +1

I doubt any ppl who could claim such thing are alive today. So on what right would you claim something like that? I mean if I laid claim to something what belonged to my grand grand grand father- I dont know what treaties said grand grand grand father made, so on what right do I ask for something? I could ask any country to "return" something to some point in time. How about 1000 years ago? Or back to Roman Empire? You/I cannot change past, clinging to such distant past can never bring any good to ppl. Only friction and conflict leading to war. Thats why disputes need to be addressed and resolved sooner rather than later. Time erodes even rocks
