A Normal-type version of Freeze-Dry called Disbelief that's super-effective against Fairy types. The user loudly yells that it does not believe in fairies. Does special damage, and hits all other pokemon in a double battle.
I've heard of a fan made Ability of the same name that grants Fairy immunity, specific to Mega Scrafty/Mega Hydreigon concepts.
That's hilarious.

I hate Chansey. It's my least favorite pokemon. So I'm fine with it being cracked open. Man, I play too much competitive
Mikey should do "I Make a 50 new pokemon abilities".That would be fun and interesting

That would be awesome!

YESS
I honestly think quicksand could be some kind of perish song move but the Pokémon can only switch out at a 50% chance every turn
Nice
17:47 I just find this funny since for a time I thought Spirit Break was the signature move of Iron Valiant.
I'd never seen the move before and was just like "Oh it makes sense they'd give an actually decent physical fairy move to a fairy type that's primarily physical and is also part fighting"
uhhhhhhhh
It was actually Grimsnarl’s signature move before it was expanded to ONLY iron valiant. So nah
I’m pretty sure grimmsnarl is in scarlet
Chansey's constant smile, as she gets attacked by all of these new moves, only makes it funnier😂❤️
Yes
Oops
chansey: this is fine
I'm just surprised it wasn't Miltank
@@microlunchbox2657 same here🤣
I’ve come up with these moves:
Break Up (Normal): The user snaps out of Infatuation. This moves also cancels out the effects of Captivate and Confide.
Hammer Toss (Steel): The user pulls out a hard object and tosses it at its target. This move always hits twice.
Blaze of Glory (Fire): The user engulfs itself in flames and charges head first at its target for a hard hitting final attack. The user faints afterwards. Basically the Fire type version of Explosion.
False Security (Dark): The user acts friendly and causes its target to let down its guard and not attack for that turn. At the start of the next turn, the user hits hard and causes the target to flinch. Can only be used on the first turn the user is in battle.
Rock stomp (rock) the user stomps and rocks fall on to the opponent
Steel hit. The user throws itself(steel )
Ice kick(ice)the user kicks the opening freezing it for 2 truns
Egg toss(normal)the user throws a egg.only the chansy line can use it
Short Circuit(Electric) The user overloads the target with a electric jolt, shorting out the electrical receptors of steel and electric types
Dealing super effective damage in the same turn
11:05
I think a move called Ghoul Garden would sound as good.
Mind if I steal that for my fan region? It may become a fan game in the far future, just so you know, and if I make a video series about it, I'll be sure to credit you.
@@jacobs5546 Um, sure. It can be a 140 base power special move that lowers Sp Def by 2 stages after usage.
Alright thanks. It will tie into the gimmick of my region because it seems like it would fit.
@@jacobs5546 yo i subbed in case you ever make it into a fan game
Tekd Thank you. Don't expect it any time soon, though. Some videos about the region may come sooner.
Some more move ideas:
Foreshadowing - 130 base power, 100% accuracy, dark type special attack.
It acts like future sight, but it hits two to four rounds later. It goes through all protection and substitutes.
Booby Trap - 65 base power, 100% accuracy, ground type physical attack.
It acts as a one-use hazard that deals damage to the next pokemon that switches in.
Pottery Smash - Ground type stat boosting move that increases speed by two stages, lowers the user's defense and special defense, but also creates shards that act the same as spikes hazards. I could see claydol using this.
Holy Banishment - 70 base power, 95% accuracy, fairy type special attack.
The catch is that this move is also super effective against ghost types.
Capture Blessing - Increases the chances of a poke ball capturing a pokemon for the next three turns. Has absolutely no use competetively, but I could see amoongus or electrode using this move.
Paranormal Drag - OHKO ghost type move with 30% accuracy. Animation would be a ghost hand dragging a pokemon to their literal grave.
Brute Force - 100 base power, 70% accuracy, fighting type physical attack.
Each time you miss this move, the base power goes up by 20.
Pitch Perfect - 80 base power, 95% accuracy, normal special attack.
This move always lands a critical hit. Its also sound-based.
I really like all of these ideas, very creative. I will critique some names though. 'Paranormal Drag' sounds like what a burnt-out ghostly accountant has to deal with when they wake up in the morning. I would call it "Grip of Reckoning," it sounds more sinister to me and moves with "of" in the title have a badass reputation, like Roar of Time, Light of Ruin, and Guardian of Alola. I would also rename "Brute Force" to "Daze Swing'' to indicate disorientation.
I would change Booby Trap to a dark type move instead of ground because booby traps are usually used as for pranks or with malicious intend
@@andymcclurg9916 Holy Banishment 💀
These are really good, especially Booby Trap and Brute Force
Pottery smash wooahhh
Big Brain Time: A psychic type status move that reduces half of the Pokemon’s HP and maximizes it’s special attack. (basically a special version of belly drum)
That move is actually called Headache, and only Misty's Psyduck can learn it apparently.
Thats basically Psycho boost but ig we cant do anything bout that
Miiiiiiiind fliiiiiiiiiip
Psycho Overload 😆
@@eeveegon CONCENTRATION
Here's a move I came up with that I think is cool: Aftershock. It's normally 65 base power (and 100% accurate) but if used together or after the move "Earthquake", its power is doubled.
What type is it?
@@ghostie4485 Ground.
@@infinityalbi9840 i see
Double battle move
That's a really neat idea!
19:16 - I think here you could have made a Poison type move that could cause a burn, like “Corrosive Acid”. Or an Ice type that causes a burn, like “Frostbite”.
Or a Steel/Bug type that causes poison, like “Stinger” or something.
Or even a Psychic move that could paralyze, like “Psych Out”.
Is’t why they removed scald from basically every Pokémon
@@suma109 actually Scald was nerfed to being one of Volcanion's signature moves. No other Pokemon can learn it in S/V until the Scald TM got readded in the Teal Mask DLC
Stinger feels oddly similar to twineedle. A (potential) bug move that can cause poison.
Personally i think Overload would be a nice name for an electric Hyberbeam variant. It's a reference to Overheat, and it basically means that the pokemon is overloaded with extreme electricity that after using the move it has to recharge for a turn.
Call it overclock and we have a deal
“Whiplash” a Fighting Status move that makes it so that if the target uses a physical move the next few turns they will get recoil
I know it’s complex but it’s fun
This makes a lot of sense, and it makes the fighting type a bit more strategic rather than just punchy punchy
Whiplash protect
Interesting concept, I feel like there should be more moves of the like of this one!
A psychic type version called brain damage.
not so much complex but rather completely overpowered LMAO imagine pairing that with protect and substitute, youre immortal
Interesting note: "Poison Dart" also works on another level, as darting is a type of sudden movement (I vaguely recall it being the standard description of how dragonflies move, among other things.)
Regional Variant of Yanmega's signature movs then. Got it.
There is a type of dragonfly called a darter because it does that a lot
Though I'm a bit late, I came up of a water type move that seems unique.
**This may already be taken by someone else, but it feels like there isn't anyone coming up with a move based on chemistry.**
I call it Dilute, which is an attack that is super effective to poison types, and has a chance to lower all stats, or just sp. def, which I originally came up with.
As the name says, it's based on mixing chemicals with water which lowers their concentration.
It is a special attack with:
95 Power
15 PP
and 90% accuracy.
Jesse, we need to cook
wait why are you wearing a chef hat
i feel like poison is already weak enough, but good idea.
What’s interesting is that Fighting is the only type to get a Quick Attack variant of both attacking categories
Disclaimer: Chansey is definitely hurt during this video like it should be, but don't worry it used softboiled again and again and has an eviolite.
It will just faint after using a physical move 😂

@@EgZhiGen1949CD what did I do?
@@azarious644 I misclicked I meant to reply to the guy with a stumble guys pfp
I'll sound a bit nerdy, but I think there should be an attack inspired by Ultraman, a famous sci-fi Japan hero. It would be another Special Fighting move that plenty of Pokémon can learn, because it's inspired by the widespread Ultra Beam that almost every Ultra has. I'd call it Focus Beam (don't worry, it's not like Focus Blast).
It'll be either 95% or 100% accurate, depends on what you think is fair.
Now some would think, "of course 100%, why 95%?". That's because it will have a gimmick. Usually a normal Focus Beam will be a + shape beam, so it would have a base power of 70. However, it has a 10% chance of becoming and L shape attack, that will be a base *140* power attack.
The only way to increase the L shape attack chance is by using Inner Focus. But it can only be used at a maximum of 2 times and will increase into a 35%/50% chance of getting it.
(Actually maybe it should be 100% accurate)
i have a variation of this
every 3/4 attacks, it does the stronger attack
but if you miss, flinch, or use another move, the cool-down will reset back to 3/4
The question is why ultraman why not the most popular toku hero in japan Kamen rider with unleashed kick fighting type 100% accurate with 70 damage with a 50% chance of performing a finishing kick with 150 damage if super efficient or it’s stats are lowered.
@@chaosenforcerdhm969 Because the fighting type needs more special moves than just another kick
@@chaosenforcerdhm969 and here's the thing. My made up move Focus Beam has a reasonable gimmick of sacrificing turns for a higher chance for higher damage. 50% chance for a huge kick with no drawbacks seems a bit much.
@@itzibad1634 it has draw back stats be down or against a type it’s super effective with like 5pp
Eggsplosion: As revenge for taking all the abuse, Chansey made its egg explosive, tossing it to deal 130 damage. Lowers the users accuracy by two stages. While Chansey can still perform an action in the next turn, but Eggsplosion can only be used once per battle OR there is a recharge specific to the move
Clefairy? Do you mean Chansey
Make it more cruel, it does damage like explosion before gen 5 (considers half the defense of the target)
You mean Chansey? And Chansey likes giving their eggs to other pokemon so this doesnt make sense
@@wantedraider6007 I fixed it. And after taking the abuse, Chansey wants revenge
I think this move exits in the TCG for exeggute en exeggutor
So, fun fact about the Freeze Dry thing; I did the exact same thing before Gen 6 came out. It was a signature move, sure, but I called it Scent Trap; essentially, a move for carnivorous plants, a Grass-Type biting move that was specifically super-effective against Bug and Flying-Types.
That sounds like it would be Carnivine's signature move
now make one super effective against electric types(frankly electric types should have a weakness to electric types)
Op: Super effective against flying and bug types
Gamefreak: wait that's illegal
Scent Trap
Physical
Base DMG: 70
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 20
Scent Trap deals damage and has a 20% chance of flinching the target.
If used on a Flying or Bug Type, this move ignores the effectiveness of this move's type against Flying or Bug and treats it as being super effective against Flying or Bug types instead.
Hmm this can be made real but the only change would be that if it's a Pokémon who is both a flying and bug type the move would still only be 2× super effective cause idk otherwise it would be hella broken might make the grass type more of an offensive threat but still lol
I once made a move called Terror Blast (Not to be confused with Tera Blast).
It was the signature move of a Box Art Legendary Pokemon for a region i made when i was 14 based off New Jersey
The move was a 130 BP Special Ghost move that worked like Flying Press, but instead of being Fighting/Flying it was Ghost/Dark.
We need more moves like flying press, this is a great idea
@@Soviet_MicrowaveI really like these moves that can bend the type chart.
Ghost and dark are super effective against the same types so this doesn’t really make sence
@@veenakiran4316 Yeah, because it’s a ghost move, same super effective, but resisted by 3 and two immune
@@jatarokemuri5443 If Flying Press is called using Assist by a Delcatty with Normalize, it become sa Normal-Flying attack that is 4x resisted by pure Rock types, and 16x resisted by Rock/Steel Pokémon. Terror Blast would be 4x super effective against Psychic or Ghost types, and 16x super effective against Psychic/Ghost types.
I love how on the psychic binding move just shows Chansey getting swirled around
I made this one up a long time ago: Heartbreaker. It’s a Dark-type move that works like Smellingsalt but it cures the target of infatuation instead of paralysis
isnt the name pretty bad?
I love the idea, like, dark-type moves are usually related to evil or darkness and breaking someone's heart would surely be evil and make them stop being infatuated
We both made up moves to deal with infatuation.
Don’t tell Heartbreaker Charles about this… (I know that he actually tries to impress girls with rotation and triple battles but I was reminded of his name ok?)
Okay, that's actually pretty genius
There should be a Psychic move that's super-effective against Steel in reference to spoon bending.
And only Kadabra and Alakazam learn it. As they have spoons
@@jeremycocciolone9223 Not necessarily. The move would be based on the concept, not the actual use of spoons. All the Pokemon needs is enough focus to bend the object with their mind.
@@Sungura_Kaiser yeah makes sense. I just went with the obvious pokemon whod know it
@@Sungura_Kaiser maybe start with just those two and then expand it to others later like they did with fire lash
maybe something like mind bend with super effectiveness to steel like you said
I think it's cool that you have both Blackout and Whiteout as moves!
There are no moves that just inflict freeze, but there are a few for the other status conditions. I came up with one for the Tangela regional evolution, Tangorgon, called Petrifying Gaze. A Rock-Type move with low accuracy that can Freeze.

Boiling Point (Fire): The user heats the air enough to evaporate water generated by its foe to turn its Water Type Moves into Flying Type Moves.

Owo
I’m wish there was a move called “Tsunami” that does more damage the taller the Pokémon is! Similar to Grass Knot, but for height instead of weight (and it’s a water movie, obviously).
Maybe make it stronger if Earthquake was used on a previous turn?
this is SUCH a good idea
maybe it can be like flying press where it is two types at once? Water and Ground type?
@@robertlupa8273 this comment made me think of a drowning effect just poison for water types and more damage for the weight of the pokemon
There's a theory that the reason there's no Tsunami move in Pokemon is because of Japan's trauma with Tsunamis.
When I was a kid and they started introducing starter-only tutor moves, I thought of some that would be specific to the original 3 to keep them special.
Char Broil would basically be fire-type Earthquake with a high chance to burn
Blast Tackle (some of Blastoise's dex entries mention using the cannons to propel itself into attacks) which is basically water-type extreme speed with a high chance to paralyze and
Venus Leaf, basically a cross between Razor Leaf and Leaf Blade with a chance to cause severe poisoning.
Here's a move I made up! : Spring Plates. A ground-type special move. The Pokémon shakes the tectonic plates of the battlefield and makes the opposing Pokémon be sprung up into the air. When the opposing Pokémon hits the floor, it deals 35 DMG, it also has a 25% chance to make the target paralyzed. It also has a 10% chance to boost the Pokémon's evasiveness and speed.
I think Talonflame should have an amped up version of brave bird, considering it’s a fire type. I would call it Phoenix dive or something, just making brave bird more fiery
That's cool in concept but flare blitz is already a fire type brave bird :/
@@123abc50216 i think he means something like flying press where it is both fire and flying while doing recoil

It would OBLITERATE Pokémon like Leavanny, but would still be hard to REALLY utilize since it’s on Talonflame😅
I'd go with Phoenix Rush. Basically like Dragon Rush except it's 100% accurate, and it can either cause flinching or burn damage

I made a move called Corrosive Gas, a special 70 base power Poison move that is super effective against Steel types. It may sound like a signature move to Salazzle, but I think it could be learned by multiple Poison pokemon. I like the idea of having a Poison type move being able to hit Steel types who are normally immune to Poison moves.
20:53 There is a move kinda like that: the Bug type Z-Move Savage Spin-Out. The user shoots a bunch of web strings at the opponent and encases them in a cocoon, swings them around and slams then into the ground, then slices them out of the cocoon.
Oh I forgot about that but I think he didn’t mention it because it’s a z move
Quicksand should be a variation of Curse. The user loses 50% of its HP so its sand go directly to the target, that would lose 25% of its HP per turn and then (die) faint, like in real life quicksand. It could only be learned by Ground Type Pokémon
Then it wouldn’t be a priority move? Or would it keep it’s priority?

1. I don't think he counted z-moves
2. That's a nice concept
Maybe it has a chance of hitting the user instead of target if not confused, and weaker. Either way there's a chance the user hits itself
i’ve made a few pokemon moves over the years, so i thought i’d share.
Fireworks - Fairy. 85 damage, 10pp, 100acc, physical. The user sends exploding, brightly colored fireworks at the target. The target may be left with a burn. (we need more physical fairy moves, and the impact would be more akin to explosion than flamethrower.)
Steam Out - Fire. 20pp, status. The user lets out hot steam to calm its rage, dramatically raising sp. attack while harshly lowering attack. (edit: my thought was that the increase could be based on the atk of the pokemon, or it could be changed to def or speed for something, but i have no idea how that would work, i dont know much about competitive balancing other than basic logic.)
Flurry - Ice. 20pp, status. The user sends out a flurry of snow to coat the ground for 5 turns. If an ice type pokemon is on the field, their speed and attack are increased. any other type has their speed decreased.
Blacksmith - Steel. 15pp, status. The user heats their body to reinforce themself, sharply increasing attack after one turn of rest. before their attack is increased, their defense is lowered, but will return to normal the same time their attack is increased.
obviously these moves wouldnt be available to every pokemon, already powerful pokemon wouldnt need steam out or blacksmith, this would be to help weaker pokemon and at least make them viable.
Can we use these for fangames? I’m trying to work on one and I’m a little bit stuck in the new moves department
Firework should be fire
Steam out would be overpowered in competetive
While I agree there's a need for more physical fairy moves, I don't think Fireworks can justifiably be physical. I mean, it's literally firing something at the target in a similar manner to thunderbolt or flamethrower. "Physical" implies some degree of direct physical contact between the user and the target.
Pokèmon Variation anyone?
the gen 9 thumbnail and "2 years ago" completely jumpscared me
A Fairy Type move called Faerie Herd that does medium and continous special Fairy type dmg after it's use, will only stop after the Pokemon has fainted, it is also super-effective against Grass types! It is also Galarian Rapidash's Signature move, but can be passed on to other Fairy mons.
I think a cool alternative to Forge Blade could be taking that hot steel concept and turning it into an ability where the pokemon with the ability in sunlight has a high chance to burn on any of its steel moves. Super niche? Maybe. But it’s still a cool idea.
Ooh, that sounds really cool! You could have a Pokémon like that on a sun team, but watch out for your opponents' Fire moves >:0
I thought of a signature lightning type move called "Heaven's Smite", a move with 210 base power, 100% accuracy, super effective against steel, rock, ice, and ground while ignoring the type immunity due to its explosive power, with the downside of having to wait 2 turns before attacking again
I'd make it 3, 210 power + stab + magnet would make it waaaaay too powerful.
@@S3cr3t_Qw1rtzlooking back, I agree
My idea for a ghost type Freeze-Dry variation is called Haunt, a special move that’s super effective against normal types. It haunts the target the opponent to the point that they mentally break down and end up taking damage from it. Also, I’d like to mention that freeze-drying is a method of drying something in a low-temperature vacuum, so the flying type variant of Freeze-Dry is literally just a higher-temperature freeze-dry. An example of using a freeze-dry is making astronaut food. I know you can use it to make astronaut ice cream, but I’m sure it’s used for other things too
R.I.P Chansey, the test dummy which HAS to be holding an eviolite to withstand all of these attacks, maybe even two.
lol
The special attacks probably barely did anything to it, even the fighting type ones, given how much special bulk it has.
I hate chansey so its fine but i wish the dummy was a miltank
Well atleast it got rests on some dragon type moves
@@zajinramirez2780 shouldve been wobbuffet since its literally a punching bag lmfao
The amount of drug references with speed weed is a bit too “high” for pokémon
I knew someone would make a joke about..."sin substances" once I heard the name Speed Weed.
SPEED WEED
I am remembering the tier list where he said that rillaboom has a heavy emphasis on *drug* usage, instead of *drum* usage
@@DrawciaGleam02 I think they're a crew member of either Law & Order, or CSI. Along with Dick Wolf.
actualy speed weed is an existing move it is a move in a hack rom called pokemon clover
I was playing with my Wugtrio and I realized that it was utterly awful in battle, partially because it doesn’t have Dugtrio’s arena trap
So i came up with a new move to sorta fill that role
-Riptide
Water
Physical
Power: 50
Accuracy: 100%
Priority: -6
PP: 5
Hits adjacent pokemon. If a pokemon was switched out this turn, it is switched back in if its replacement is hit by this move (The move needs to hit, not deal damage. So a pokemon with Water Absorb would still be switched out).
Intended Uses
-To prevent pokemon from switching out if its given to a slow pokemon (Specifically I pictured Wugtrio could get this move as a kinda replacement for Arena Trap)
-To prevent people from forcing your pokemon to switch out with moves like Dragon Tail
-To activate Palafin’s Zero-To-Hero really quickly
We need better bug moves, so I made 5!! Wow that's a lot..
Move 1: *Insect Rush.* The user rushes at the target with intense power, slamming into the target for great damage.
Physical
Power: 100
Type: Bug
Base PP: 10
Accuracy: 100%
Perks: 10% flinch chance
Move 2:
*Multi-limbed Attack:* the user uses all of their limbs to rapidly strike the target multiple times.
Physical
Power: 25
Type: Bug
Base PP: 20
Accuracy 100%
Perks: hits 2-5 times in one turn
Moves 3: *Fluttering Torrent.* The user rapidly beats their wings to attack the user with huge gusts of wind, but tires the user. Factors BUG and FLYING type weaknesses.
Special
Power: 145
Type: Bug/Flying
Base PP: 5
Accuracy: 100%
Perks: user has 50% chance to fall Asleep, 50% chance to recharge next turn. factors BUG and FLYING type weakness.*(because of this factor, grass types are 4x weak to this move.)*
Move 4: *Silk Strike.* The user generates a silky material, and attacks the user, but uses the material to protect themselves if they miss
Physical
Power: 95
Type: Bug
Base PP: 15
Accuracy: 75%
Perks: if this move misses, the user raises their Defense and Special Defense by 1.
Move 5: *Shed Skin.* The user sheds their top layer of skin, sacrificing their defensive capabilities for more offensive power.
Status
Type: Bug
Power: N/A
Base PP: 35
Accuracy: N/A
Perks: lowers Defense by 1, and increases Attack by 1.5, and Speed by 2.
These were really fun to make, and I hope people like them!!
Edit: Grammer, and forgot part of *Fluttering Torrent*
Shed Skin is already an ability
I think he should make a never-miss move and a damaging protect for every type, and a baneful bunker for every status condition in his next 50 moves, but not frozen cause frosty fortification is dope (lockstin's Kaskade region's fossils)
@whatever oliver . Oliver, that is a good idea, btw have you seen the Kaskade region? It's very cool, and still updating.
@whatever oliver dood, your cool, also, what starter you choose
@whatever oliver Pls no burn hazard. Burn is already too much for physical attackers and making it an entry hazard will be op. The other ones are kind of fine.
Here’s an idea for status defense moves:
*Name:* Hot spot
*Type:* Fire
*Description:* This user is put in a tight situation, so it veils itself with fire. If an attack makes contact, it burns the opponent.
*Name:* Shockin awe
*Type:* Electric
*Description:* The user overcharges itself with static electricity. If an attack makes contact it paralyzes the opponent
*Name:* Under Pressure
*Type:* Ice
*Description:* The user freezes it’s body to below zero. If it makes contact, it makes the opponent unable to move for the next turn. If it makes contact during a hail storm, it freezes the opponent.
*Name:* Sleeper hit
*Type:* Ghost
*Description:* The user groggily takes a small rest, giving the opponent a false sense of security. If an attack makes contact, it puts the opponent to rest. If the opponent doesn’t attack, however, the user falls asleep, yet also heals 1/5th of their health.
*Name:* All or Nothing
*Type:* Dark
*Description:* The user tenses up their muscles and prepares to retaliate. If an attack makes contact, it lowers the opponents health by half of their current health and lowers their defense. If it fails, however, the user’s defense and special defense lower by two stages.
I'm just saying, the rock damaging protect better be Sand Paper
I honestly think there should be more moves like acrobatics as well where the power doubles if the Pokemon isn't holding an item if every type had that it'd be so cool
I’d be cool in competitive too
@@cwasone. Honestly a lot of the moves in this video wouldn’t be out of place in the competitive scene
Michael "chansey will be fine"
Chansey "aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
all jokes and memes aside - *_Brain Blast would be a HELLA dope move!_*
Brain Blast could be a Mind Blown clone: doing super-strong damage, at the cost of losing half of your maximum HP.
it would be like Blast Burn and Frenzy Plant but for psychic types
I have a few ideas. One, a water type attack called Sewage which is super effective against grass and water but boosts the attack and special attack of any poison types hit. It would be a spread move. I think this is interesting because some water types tend not to be able to hit opposing water types. It would be special.
Another idea is a fire type move called radiate. It would be special, have 50 base power and would have a chance to poison or badly poison the target, referring to radiation sickness.
Disintegrate: a 100 base power special, electric move that hits all enemies similar to earthquake, the user receives recoil damage and has to recharge for one turn.
The more buffs the user has the powerful the move, however the more debuffs the user has the more recoil damage it receives plus it has to recharge for one turn like giga impact.
I remember I had an electric type Pokémon called “haywire” and it’s signature move was “gigabolt” which was super affective against all types week to electric and ground type since it was so powerful it would explode the ground, but since it explodes the ground it makes it do nothing against flying types. Win some and lose some. Haywire was op but didn’t have any HP or defense so it was a glass cannon
Which game? A fan game for sure,,,
That's actually really dope!
@@3o5ragib maybe a fever dream idk

@@barrymckockinner4313 u actually made it? Or u made up this?
When you talked about Web Sling, I was so disappointed that you just gave it a base power. My thought was that it acted as a reverse Low Kick/Grass Knot, where the lighter the target, the more damage it did. There isn't a single move that acts like that, as Heat Crash/Heavy Slam takes the user's weight into consideration as well, while Web Swing just focused on the opponent's.
Pokedex entry; The user attaches a line to throw the opponent. does more damage the lighter the target.
Same 💡
Yeah it's really weird theres all these ways to make your pokemon heavier, but the only way to capitalize on it is heavy slam and basically nothing else
The bigger (heavier) they are, are harder they fall
I always thought it'd be cool to have a Status move which can cause the Freeze status condition, since it's the only non-volatile status condition without a Status move which directly causes it (Will-O-Wisp for Burn, Thunder Wave for Paralysis, Toxic for Poison, Hypnosis for Sleep, etc.).
That's probably because Freeze is *really* strong if it lands.
I think bringing back Frostbite for your status move idea could easily work.
Ideas for Moves:
Template Charge, signature move of Anceon (Rock/Grass Eeveelution) Rock, 140 dmg., 5 PP, Spec or Phys, whichever is higher for attacker, removes grass type of Anceon once used, and Template Rise, Ground/Grass like Flying press, 95 dmg., Phys, 5 PP, Cause gravity before damage is calculated.
“Surprisingly none of the dragon moves acknowledge dragons’ position as mythical creatures”
Have you been talking to Lockstin?
Snap trap is a grass type move because when gen 4 remakes come out they can give the move to carnivine for STAB
Do you think anyone will use that
@@ricktam2841 I actual used carnivine on my team during my original play through so yes i do think some people will use it
@@traerock7126
Leaf blade is much more useful
And I am not talking about carnivine I am talking about snap trap
i know that he's not really counting z-moves (except twinkle tackle) but with the bug physical move is originally gen 7 exclusive, Savage Spin-out
I think that another really cool mechanic is a move being stronger when used in the same/next turn as the other move, like the grass/fire/water pledge. The Epicenter slam that Mikey came up with could have some mechanic close to that with Earthquake
I came up with a Dark type move when looking back at my fan-region, and realizing I forgot to make new moves for the Dark type. I always laugh whenever I imagine a Pokémon using it.
The move is called Distraction. It would be a +2 priority move.
The user throws their held item at the target to make a quick getaway. The target flinches, and the user switches out. Damage depends on the item thrown.
It's basically a Dark type U-turn that goes first, with guaranteed flinch, but the user loses their held item.
It's just so funny thinking that in the middle of the battle, in desperation, your opponent just throws their item at you to make a getaway.
this... is GENIUS!
Truly spectacular!
This is just better Fling
So fling+quick attack+ uturn
Here are some moves I made:
Meteor Burn:If A Pokémon is about to use Giga Impact or Body Slam or is about to land on the user using Fly then the user stops them by blocking the three attacks, and giving them a Burn and making them lose 2 stages of Attack.
Pop:Basically Self Destruct but paralyses target for exactly 2 turns after user faints due to it.
Dance:Confuses the target and decreases all their stats except HP and Speed.
Accurate Shot:Multi hit Move that never misses, each hit has 15 power and can hit upto 5 times.
And your move is a mix of Fling and U turn and maybe Fake out?
Contagious Smog is a poison type status move that covers the user in smog for 5 turns. If the user is hit by a physical move, the attacker is poisoned and the user takes 10% less damage.
czcams.com/video/47XDbaVposY/video.html
One concept that I'd like to see be done is "move evolution" where a move grows in strength to become another move or 2 moves combine into 1. Similar to how Ash's Buizel could use Ice Aqua Jet or a good few of his Sinnoh mons can spin around to create a shield of a certain move. Of course, that'd be an optional thing and it wouldn't happen "regularly" if you understand.
12:24 funny how we got Gigaton Hammer now, but it's a signature move so hey, we waitin for that Titan Charge
Gigaton Hammer can't be used twice in a row
