- This time, I modded Pokémon GO Plus+ so you can switch between Autocatch mode without vibration and Manual mode with vibration. For better understanding PLEASE watch my previous videos. Thanks :)
I wish I'd set my top camera to full resolution, but... oh well

I did this mod and it is working perfectly. I did a couple of things differently, (and I'm basing this on your first mod video). I just cut a slit in the screen material over the speaker hole, rather than remove it and I did not use hot glue. I packed in enough extra tack to anchor the switch in place.
Good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Kek, that's exactly what i plan to do this weekend. i read your first Tutorial at Reddit and all other Videos and was thinking why not like exactly what you did now... thanks for motivation me to buy a soldering iron :-D thank you PS: the Music is nice.
Thanks for your comment! It makes me happy that my video helps someone
Just finished modding mine. Thanks for the content!
Very good video! I did this mod and it works perfectly. Thank you! This was very helpful.
Thank you sooo much for both tutorial videos + reddit.
I like how I can turn vibration on/off.
Hello, if I wanted to remove the speaker, would I just desolder the blue and white wires from the board, and do I need to remove all leftover solder or is it fine to leave some on there after removing wires?
Hey I wanted to ask how much would you charge to mod my plus+? Really tired of pressing the button for great and ultra balls. 😅
Great Video. which switch would you recommend? Have a link to one? Thanks
Thanks, followed tutorial and works great!
It worked for me. Thanks for sharing the instructions and the video.
I also encountered the issue you brought up in your previous video: in silent mode, the Go Plus + attempts to go into sleep mode almost every time it is disconnected from the game. The only way to get out of this situation is to switch to normal mode, or connect it to the game and press the white button. In silent mode when it's not doing that Pikachu loop, if I press the top button to check the battery status, that also triggers it to go into sleep mode.
You are Awesome. If nintendo ever think of upgrading Go Plus+ it should be something like this.
Have you noticed any impact on battery life after this mod? I did your mod and what I've noticed is a few minutes after fully charging the Go Plus +, the battery status LED is yellow instead of green when I press the top button. This happens with the switch in normal mode as well as silent mode. The Go Plus + is not connected to the game during the few minutes (less than 5 minutes).
I bought another brand new Go Plus + just to check the battery life of an unmodded device. Charged it to full and with about 10 minutes, the LED changed from green to yellow. That Go Plus + has not even been paired to any phone. So I guess I can confirm your mod does not have any negative impact on battery life.
Hello , thanks for your video =) . Do you know if a mod for the first Pokeball Plus exist ??? A autocatch mod + no vibration will be cool, instead of pressing the button (which doesn't always respond). Thank you =)
Just tried to go the switchless method and as soon as connections were made ti just blinks non stop, any ideas?
great video! is there any way to do this without a soldering iron?
Please tell me the size of the switch you used. Thank you.
Where did u get the plastic casing that covers your plus+?
Aliexpress
will it work if I just cut the red wire connecting to the vibration box?
I don't have the tools to do all of the other stuff.
It will kill the vibration but everything else will work fine. You don’t have to add a switch like this if you don’t want the vibration at all anymore
How do you stop the viberation and sound, but still ensure autocatching with great and ultra balls?
Does the sleep mode work when you switch it back to "manual + vibration" mode?
Could you please make a tutorial for a full silent auto catching mod (no buzz ultra ball+no light) with a switch between that mode and normal mode, thank you! :)
What is that white stuff that you put around the switch to hold it in place?
From his previous vid, it was epoxy
It's "White tack"
@@ma3x558 okay,
thank you for responding
Will this work if I removed the spinning weight from the vibrating motor?
easier to just snip wire then to remove weight.
Dang. This Video was a week too late... I worked according to the old video and solderd directly to the button :D
Question: Is the switch necessary if you only want to have it auto catch?
That is my question... ^^' but 3 weeks and still no answer.
no, it will go into sleepmode loop after you stop playing... it simulates the press of the button non stop so no it wont work
It’s been a while. Aren’t there any versions of these we can get now that uses ultra balls yet?
I tried this but connected directly without the switch and didn't work, any idea why?(I don't have the Pokemon sleep thing)
you should explain your problem a bit further into details. for example mine just saw the pokemons but didn't catched them at all because while putting all together a cable got lose.
I'd like just to add, could you pin a comment or add in the description that if you connect the battery before switching the switch to normal mode, that the plus will start to run on loop on the pikachu sleep?
I was under the impression that I had made a mistake at first 😅
It doesnt work for me. I just did the same and I have two modes, one with vibration and one without but the one suppose to be without doesnt throw ultraballs or superballs.
I did the same as you. Tried to reboot sometimes
Enable Pokéball auto throw must be turned off
@@ma3x558 Already done but still doesnt work :( Seems like button is not activating because it select the pokemon but nothing happen. Any Idea?
To be honest seems like button is not working anymore. I've tried to go sleep and didn't work either? Any idea?
Hey thanks a lot for the tutorial. While putting it back together the USBC cable to the "Mainboard" got loose. I reconnected it but it doesn't seem to charge anymore. Has anybody got a tip about what I might have done wrong? Thanks a lot
Can u send me a list of what I need to buy😊
Also looking for a recommended switch to use, anyone have suggestions
I want to do this mod myself but I can’t find the little switches does anyone know where I can find them please 🙏🏻
Amazon has them Chanzon SPDT Mini Micro Slide Switch 1p2t 2 Position 70pcs 3mm Toggle Vertical Slide Switch
@@BipolarKreations 3mm is very short. i had to dremel away plastic to get it to fit through speaker hole, pick the longer mm option (for others that read this)
@tanner7018 it was actually perfect. Already done the mod to mine. Works great. Didn't need to dremel anything.
Thanks everyone for the help I already did mine and it work great 😊
@ricardomedrano7780 ya it's awesome mod. I got tried of running out of normal balls. Seems you get less when it's connected lol. Glad you got it done
Can I just buy one off of you???
When I set it to auto catch, the plu plus freezes.
Makre sure the Setting in the app autocatch swith is OFF
Did that help?
@@ange515034 not for me. I think there’s an issue somewhere. When I completely seal the case it doesn’t work but when it’s bit open it work. Idk if the wires are too wide and causing pressure somewhere.
Anyone notice its more buggy after doing the mod? Not catching as quickly and will have spurts where it just does nothing for a while even with pokemon or stops in range? My gf has been complaining about this after I modded it for her. I confirmed it does work and indeed does throw all 3 types of balls as well as regular red balls like it would normally with the switch in the off position as well as go into sleep mode still. This was on a newer plus + purchased about 2 months ago if that makes any difference.
Anyone located in Hawaii I can do this for you
