I didn’t get a lot of shinies at Go Fest (in the actual park that is. I was trying to find people I wanted to meet; bummed I didn’t get to meet you) but I did get more on the bus ride back than during the park.

There is a glitch where it will say the Pokemon is caught in Tokyo if you scroll down right away. It happens to me and that is why it happened to you.

Yes! I have just heard that some people only use it for Pokestops though because they don't want to lose out on a shiny since the autocatcher only uses Pokeballs. @@prabhdeepsomal743

I had almost 900 ultra balls and I had my pokemon go plus + only using ultra balls. I had to press the button but I got a lot of good stuff.
The biggest downside is that it has no effect on the Master Ball. Also, Mystic7 didn't use the Master Ball yet.
