A deeper cut off the Phobia album, this song has a slow and heavy groove that I always liked the way Chad Szeliga played the hi hat pattern. Check it out!
Brother love the hat orchestration, it really defines the powerful groove. I love seeing a drummer tell a story and then apex with feel like you did! It was cool how you switched between open and closed playing. Super impressive!!! Have a wonderful day my brother!🤜
Actually, I've only recently discovered BB for myself, but the more I hear about this band, the more I like it. Also this is a great song that you have great covered. The hi-hat patterns are awesome (the rest, of course), I normaly prefer the covers with drumless music, but this way it gives us the chance to hear (and see) how great you are at the style of Chad (and how synced you are) . Impressive work!
Thomas Nommensen - I agree I prefer drum less tracks when I can find them. And yes sometimes it’s harder to play over the original and get the timing down perfectly. Either way I love BB and Chads style so I’m sure to do more covers by them! Thanks for your comments.
Drums by Pauly G Yes my friend this is one of those songs you have to hold back the beat somewhat and let the guitars and vocals carry the groove. I just love how damned heavy it is! Thanks for watching brother
Fantastic work, Mike. It always looks so easy and relaxed, like really someone knowing what he‘s doing behind his drums. You are one of the few drummers where it’s a pleasure to listen AND watch, love that. 😎 By the way, what sticks do you play? The look quite big and large.
Mike Luke Thanks so much Mike. I try to make my covers a little more interesting to watch. I use many different sticks depending on the music. For the slower heavy songs I’m using Travis Barker signature Vic Firth sticks. They are quite big but are nicely balanced and great for rolls as they are similar to marching sticks. Thanks foe you feedback!
Great work again, it´s delicios see your videos. I have a question, were I can catch some Drumdog69 files for play to? :-) If you help me I apreciate. Don´t stop. ;-)
Frigging EPIC!! Amazing cover!!!
The sunglasses are the best part of this cover!

Steve Osborne I agree. The hats make a simple beat become interesting and the climax is so Damn heavy!!

Holy hell mate!! What a great song. You’re playing was totally on the money. Powerful but yet subdued at the same time. Awesome bro.
