Several areas in Saudi Arabia experienced a series of simultaneous natural disasters on April 29, 2024. The tornado threat across Saudi Arabia increased on Monday evening, but it now appears Flash flooding will be the main concern for the remainder of the night. Early evening storms caused wind damage, with gusts of 69 mph recorded. An unsettled weather pattern has brought several rounds of rain and storms, with heavy rainfall falling across parts of the region on Monday night. Some locations received more than 2 inches of rain, causing flash flooding in some surrounding areas and locations.
