Imma need this sound. This and your F100 are probably some of the best sounding vehicles I've ever heard.
Just an FYI, whenever you do an exhaust hanger with solid round stock bend it, so it goes under the exhaust pipe. Don't weld it to the side like you did, it will eventually rip out around the weld from vibration.
From one Panther enthusiast/owner to another, hats off to you. Sounds menacing. I would highly recommend a sawzall instead of an angle grinder for exhaust work though. Much easier, and no sparks which means less things to catch on fire. But hey, you do what you gotta do.
Back in the day the Dodge long tube header looped around the steering shaft. You disconnect the steering shaft and install the header then reconnect the shaft. That kept the heat away from the engine.

Sounds great, my turbo 4.6 towncar blew up yesterday.
That is very similar to what I got got my Lincoln but I didn't have the funds for a full stainless kit...so basically just using the aluminized steel with bbq paint..
2.5" front to back, Summit X pipe, Cherry bomb salute straight through style stainless, 2.5" pipe to the back and 3" tips...though I still need headers.
I have a PI engine swap mm airbox/maf/zip tube and a tune from Marty Och of Mo's Speed Shop.

If you dont want to raise front end for exhaust might be better off with motor mount spacers like from outcast autoworks

I tryed to put barrel on and blow out the trans do to not having everything hooked up right the friend I had helping me just left me hanging so tryed to finish it myself and it ended badly its been a 7 year project send help if you can.

Craig this sounds great but with the cut outs I do recommend you put turn downs so it’s not hitting the underneath of the car

the rpm on these hangs alot, you can do the “copper cap mod” it helps the rpms drop quicker and it wont run the engine at 2k rpm every time you start it.
He said he'll do a custom tune, it'll most likely fix it.
They are super cheap and you've got the room, I think you should add a Procharger. Up it to 450hp!!!

My welder doesn’t do SS unfortunately but I want that fabricator's kit from BW.
You can mig stainless steel pipe with mild steel it basically makes a blend with your weld puddle which will surface rust but I have done it many times and have never has any issues I'm sure there are people on here that will have a fit with what I said but I don't care lol
A stock PI modular only made 260 hp at the flywheel.
What kind of welding rid do you side for stainless steel
Do you think you'll use any kind of Accusump system or baffled pan to try and keep the motor alive. I know it's an investment but it seems like a good one, especially since the former can be re-used on whatever engine set up you use in the future

Question for ya, I recently put a full exhaust on my 5.3 Silverado. Longtubes connected by a y pipe with a cut out that runs out the side, and after the cut out is a straight section into a widow maker 10 a turndown in front of the rear axle. It sounds great open or closed at idle and normal driving speeds, but it claps super hard at high rpm’s and I hate it. Is it possibly because it’s a y pipe 2 into 1?

Just spend a little money and get a cheap set of headers that will fit or use stock ones. Not worth the HP gains or even really sound gains on a stock 4.6 2v engine.
bro is professionally hating, also, there are ZERO cheap ways to get a set of long tube headers on a crown Vic, the absolute closest I've found are a set of eBay Mach1 headers and they don't have the right exhaust flanges (oval port rather than circle port)

Why not focus your time, energy, and money on the Fox build? Rather than junk crown vics when you already have an "off road" one. Its not like this is going to be a good drift car or whatever the "theme" is. I am pretty sure you dont even drift anyway and this isnt the car to do it. Get a sn95 and make it into a budget drift car.
You’re really confused if you say this is a bad drift car when it’s already ready to drift, and then recommend getting an sn95 of all things.
