Exhaust: going crazy
Caleb’s face: pure excitement
The scenery in the background: not moving
LOL
When I lived in Japan I loved running the lil Subaru Pleo in the mountains because it was absolutely screaming and felt awesome without actually going deathly fast. Tons of fun, especially because it was so light.
Some of the best cars are like this.
Okey that’s sick!!! My boy talented af.
Fr though! He is definitely putting nitrous on it😂
Jimmy!!
Spoon + Gingium collab? 🤔
Need to get the beat going
@@jackkrupka3024 The last thing a beat needs is more weight and tiny farts of horsepower. These cars are meant for cornering, the best he can do is is drop some weight.
The fact that it’s so slow just makes it more awesome! So many smiles and no speeding tickets 👍🏻
Someone pointed out on the last video that the lifts could be a safety hazard the way they are installed. I hope you saw that comment. Just a reminder to check it out! Don’t want anything bad to happen!
He likes to learn the hard way 😮
How are they unsafe?
@@KartsAgainstHumanity im no expert, but check the top comment on the last video, they explained it pretty good :)
He commonly does not care for safety, and does many things as cheap as possible so it’ll probably never change.
@@KartsAgainstHumanityThe other guy was mentioning that the concrete isn’t deep enough or the anchors aren’t in far enough. The funny part is gingium wanted to have a lift installed in his very first shop. The installers said no because the concrete was way to thin, I haven’t seen him use a installer since
Man see man build exhaust. Man happy. 😃
😃
Uggg ugggg ugggg lol😂😂😂😂
Man agrug nug
Im going to post this comment a few times in the hopes that you see this.
Do not read these comments as hate comments, These are people who enjoy your channel and want you to be safe. Please prioritize safety first. You can upload videos with non-lift projects while you sort this out. I have pasted 3 comments down below from professional lift installers on the subject:
From @Marc11M
Hey Caleb I install lifts for a living, if I was inspecting those lifts they would immediately fail because of the anchoring. I'm not as familiar with bendpak but every 2 post I've installed comes with 5-1/2 anchors which looks to be what these did come with. Most lifts want minimum 4-1/4 inches of 3000psi concrete with minimum 3-1/4 anchor embedment, as well as staying around 3-1/2 inches from cracks, seams in the floor, relief cuts, edges of the concrete, old anchors etc. which you can't see some of those issues with the epoxy already on the floor. Those anchors are pulled up way too far so either you don't have enough concrete or the concrete there is low psi or cracked/weak. I would guess you have maybe 1-2 inches of embedment on some anchors especially the ones near the drain, also since you cut off the extra length of the anchor that would also be an immediate fail due to that alone. With the little amount of room to move the lifts around in your shop I would seriously recommend you to remove the lifts and get new concrete pads poured. I do not want to see you get hurt or killed from those lifts failing please take my recommendation for your safety
From @deanandrejevic1946
install, maintain and do insurance inspections on garage equipment in the UK and funnily enough used to fit Bendpak ramps and this 100% my thoughts. The bolts pulling up is extremely concerning. The cutting of the bolts is an instant condemn. Please please please get some concrete pads. I don't know if the specs in the US is different but 1m squared and 500mm deep is what we would recommend, but it will also say in the manual minimum concrete specs. It may seem overkill and a ballache but it's better than a lift falling. I've seen it happen and it isnt pretty.
I see a lot of these videos and the fact Bendpak don't send professional fitters out when they ship the lifts is appalling.
From @JessopRyan
I fit lifts too, in the U.K. so the rules will be different. I agree those bolts pulling though aren’t good. We use Hilti bolts, I went to a training day about bolts and they are very confident even on expansion joints…. We don’t do it but they say you can.
Safety First! You don't want to learn this lesson the hard way. Love ya, stay safe Gingium.

Yup
it sounds amazing, and it isn't really droney or annoying at cruizing revs, also the manifold is beautiful
I appreciate it!
As a 3 cylinder owner (a 998cc not 600) who's exhaust rusted out effectively deleting the muffler I can atest to it sounding like a tractor at idle bit I couldn't help but like it a bit...
It sounded so fast and like strong, then around the corner came a city econobox...
Anyway, I like how this sounds
Haha yeah, the way the Beat sounds with the combination of how slow it is is the funniest part.
@@_Gingium_ reminds me of riding in my little brother's 2.2 ecotec 😂
exactly like my old daewoo matiz 0.8 from 2002
Sounds sporty and throaty perfect exhaust for that little Kei car!
I thought it kinda sounded like a Honda 4cyl
just how i like my women
@@anonymous5072it is a Honda so it sounds like a Honda
I 100% agree!
@@anonymous5072 sounds nowhere like a 4cyl. You can hear the 3 cyl tones which are more similar to a 6-cylinder.
I never seen 49 HP make some one so happy. Nice build.
it sounds exactly like a mt-09 im in love
The ABC kei cars are the best, as an AZ-1 owner planning a 4 rotor build for track use
Sorry did I just read that you want to put a 4-rotor in an Autozam AZ1?
@@robinl.7948 indeed, my goal is to make the fastest time attack kei car, or an F20C beat, already used a turbo hayabusa swapped cappu, that wasn't enough but it was at like 450-500 on e85, but the 4 rotor with a turbo according to the dude who's helping me build it is upwards of 1350 to the rear wheels in a car, including the cage + engine, + frame reinforments probably about 18-1900 pounds, instead of 1587 :)
@@cubiclelemur jesus christ, that's going to need some crazy sticky rubber
@@robinl.7948 yeah, it's gonna have a custom 3d printed widebody kit made from thermal/heat resistant plastics, and extra wide wheels/tires (like 245s or more) and I'm thinking pirelli p-zeros, michelin pilot sport 2s, or the nitro nt series, but I prefer those as a drift setups, leaning towards pirelli
@@cubiclelemur It would be an incredible feat to get that to function! 😃 And I'd love to see it!
Nankang AR-1 275/35 R15 is probably one of the best rubber choises for such a build.
I've myself been fantasising about a kei car with a Honda Goldwing 1800 dct (for reverse) engine 😁 It's a rather wide engine though, so I'm not sure what it would fit in.
I’ve watched near to every video of yours since Donut reccomended you in the shoutout video. I have to say that I enjoy your videos the most from all the car channels I watch. From Rob Dahm, Drivetribe to Donut and Tavarish I can relate to yours the most even tho I don’t have the founds and motivation to play with cars as you. I think it comes to the “human” aspect of your videos. You are showing mistakes, you make silly jokes I can see that you are authentic in your work and that’s priceless. Thank you for all the hours of entertainment, all the smiles you’ve put on your and our faces and all the fails you made. I’m excited to watch your jurney. All the best from Czechia
Thank you so much for those kind words! Comments like these really help me stay motivated.
@@_Gingium_ exhuast sound would also not be the best in my concept car
$50 used large flatbed scanner and a flat ruler for scale. Pretty perfect for scanning flat surfaces to adapt to CNC. A cheap tv/monitor screen protector can be used to prevent metal parts from scratching the glass with metal parts. 50% of the time a photo does the job but it skews flat surfaces, so prevent wasted metal and time with a scanner. Only takes 2 min longer than taking a photo.
Your welds here are absolutely beautoful dude. Found you when you had the miata before it was boosted. What a long way you've come. These videos inspire me to learn how to weld as well. Thanks for making great content
You killed it with the exhaust dude🎉 sounds amazing!!!!
wow, that sounds amazing, another brilliant video Gingium!
The joy on your face is priceless, cracking video as always 👌
Love the vid, love the build, love the edits of cutting the piping with hands, love the drives at the end, instant smile, need to buy one for myself 😂
this thing sounds amazing, good shit man
Created a 2/3 unequal length header! Sounds sick!
Caleb this video quality and editing style is amazing and I am so proud to see how amazing it has gotten over the years. Your hard work is shown through your constant drive for fabrication and innovation. That said, THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE EXHAUST NOISE😂
The Honda Beat sounds amazing dude. A blast to drive with that exhaust. Brilliant
I love it! It sounds so fast for how slow it is! Pure silliness ! 😂 10/10
She sounds GREAT! Perfect exhaust for the mini-NSX 👌
That looks amazing for your first full header/exhaust build man!
Thank you!
My friend, it's so amazing to see you converting cars into super cars! Tbh, I'm in a whole different work field and I have to admit that I'm jealous of your skills! I really loved the video of the Volvo! Thank you for sharing! Gr from the Netherlands!!
Pure joy !
Enjoyed this video !
Keep up the great work !
Always lokking forward to watch another video of you man
Absolutely love the pipe cut edits
If I’m being honest I wasn’t too much of a fan of the idea of him changing the exhaust setup because I didn’t know how much it would change the sound. But, my fucking god. I could sit here for hours listening to that shit bro lol. Fucking mind blown. Good shit Gingium.
Haha thats good to hear. I was a bit worried I'd ruin it too, but it turned out great.
Honestly that sounds SOOOOOOOO good, reminds me of proper vintage cars, like british classics. Really sick.
Love the cutting/karate chop transitions. Always great stuff Caleb
You did a really good job on your first one. Congrats.
Awesome vid quality dude. Well made.
Great job dude.👊
The engine obviously loves the new breathing room.. Can't wait to see where the power curve moved as a result.
I had d&d race exhaust on my 2013 thruxton 900! Bike got stolen a couple years ago 😭 loved that thing
Awesome pipefitting Caleb, Solid work.
Really cool build man, lots of fun in the edit too. Sub!
Love the internet coming round to Kei cars and Kei Trucks this last year or so.
Such cool little things.
Sounds so goddamn cool. Really like the muffler your chose too, very nice addition to the car
Sounds AMAZING
You make this look easy. Great job!
It sounds exactly like a 206 Dino Ferrari, which has always been lauded as being one of the best sounding cars ever made.
Bro the look on your face… it’s obvious that this is damn near the most fun you’ve ever had… definitely the most fun with less than 60hp.
Now imagine that sound mated to the whining of a supercharge👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Super Nitrous Beat
Love the new lifts!
Me too!
Sounds amazing!
I'm so excited for this build!
youre fab skills have come such a long way
Great work. Great sound!
I love this car and your work. Awesome man. A small car like that with a 3-cylinder or even a 4-cylinder cross plane from Yamaha would be absolutely sick.
I love your choice in music! Always great!
Thank you! I'm always self conscience about that.
It reminds me of a J series with a nice exhaust note! Great job on the exhaust!
Good job.
Nice sound.
It makes me think that I can do the one for my Caterham .
You should drop a Cbr600rr motor in that thing. Around 120hp would be a good jump from the original motor. I'd bet anything it would be a very easy install.. my first bike in the early 2000s was a 02 cbr600f4i. I put a D&D on that thing. Sounded great.
I had a D&D exhaust on a Suzuki 750 years ago. I like it. 👍🏾
That's a long time ago Yoda. 😅
awesome. love it. nothing better than driving a slow car at the limit and especially one that sounds great.
Damn... D&D fTW! That thing sounds amazing! I've got a D&D on my BUELL XB12STT and it also is amazing!
Nice to a see a return to s nore cinematic style video. Please make more videos in that style!
Loved the pipe cutting edits
That’s the coolest sounding Kei Car Ever 😂😂😂
Great work! looks and sounds super!
New subscriber just come across this channel a couple of hours ago and have been binge watching his content.Ive got to say im proper impressed.💯💯🔥🔥🔥😁😁
Sounds way more refined than I would have thought!
This video is so funny to me cuz I was a bike mechanic my whole life and years ago I put a D&D can on my Nissan 300zx and it sounded sick!
22:51 This was the best part 😂 it sounds amazing but man, it looked so slow compared to your other builds.
Loving this build series!
Yeah the fly-by footage almost looked slowed down lol.
That sound is SICK..on point perfection!!!!👊👌 Would be fun to see you do a 0-62mph how fast it is cuse it is not slow.
that little thing looks like so much fun! makes me want to import one
I love the time laps pan shots damn
Epic job on the exhaust! Sounds Amazing! Side note: A Boilermaker once showed me you can draw a simple single "V" over the join for clocking your pipes.
Looks good, quiet when cruising, popping when "playing", and loud/sporty at full throttle... Sounds pretty optimal in my opinion 👍
Sounds amazing ❤
sounds so good rate it 10/10 its just right
Sounds so dope!
I've done many a motorcycle end can conversions to get better sound quality and flow and it's a case of drill all the rivers out at the furthest end of the muffler remove all the wadding/packing and simply rivets back together and hey presto job done
That’s no joke. Thats pure.
nice work sounds sick man
that sounds awesome. you mentioned a supercharger and now I can't stop thinking about a tiny centrifugal supercharger just spooling away 😂
If you end up wanting it louder you can drill the rivets. The cap will come off the end. Pull some of the packing out and put new rivets in. I’ve also cut them down shorter and it sounds great on a bike
Yes! You finally snagged a Backpurge kit! Your exhausts and headers are gunna be SO much cleaner now brother
Yeah I love it! It does chew through gas though...
@_Gingium_ that is the main downside, but it just means youll have to get yourself a nice shop upgrade in the aspect of some larger argon tanks specifically for backpurging
How to sound faster then you actually are. It sounds great well done.
Thats awesome i would still add a 90 and tip so sound isnt going directly into underbody may help with any drone
I remember my mate spending a fortune on a D+D exhaust for his YZF750 back in the 90’s, they were hard to get in the UK at the time of if I remember rightly
Sounds sick!
Dude this is awesome i had a D &D on an R6 and it was loud hahaha cheers
Amazing work ❤
Looks and sounds so good
Next time, when installing the v band, put the male flange up stream(the one with the alignment step protruding out). It helps seal with the flow of exhaust that way.
Yup, I need one now
Can we take a moment to appreciate how good those new lifts look. Gahdang.
I'm not a huge fan of the 3 cylinder sound, but you made it sound really good.
3:04 OKAY CALEB I SEE YOU ON THAT NEW DYLAN SITTS EP. This shit been on repeat nonstop 😂😂
Interesting project.
Gotta say though, you might wanna keep a very close eye on EGT's once you fit the spray kit and start tuning. Mild steel flange on stainless pipe is a really bad idea in high temp applications. Tends to crack around the HAZ after a few heat cycles.
It sounds great!
Am i the only one who thinks it sounds like a NSX ? Beautiful !
Ive said it 100 times. From not knowing how to install a steering wheel to doing this. Youve come a long way sir 🫡
Thank you thank you
Frickin badass man!
Dude it’s sounds so good!!!!!
God that thing sounds so good
