Next thing I'd like to see? Get as many carbon fiber parts as possible and see how much weight you can shave off... and then a paint job lol.

I agree. I live about 30 minutes from the tail of the dragon on the Tennessee side. It's awesome being able to just decide to go for a drive and not have to plan a trip.

I've driven those Ga mountain roads for years. Never had so much fun until I got a Fiesta ST. Tail of the Dragon is a blast ! Now I'm retired in Mexico and have a Fit GK5 Sport with HFP package. There are some awesome roads here in the mountains. But it's way too dangerous to drive them like we would in Ga or Tenn. Spent a lot of money building my Fit and I can't really drive it , what a shame.
Fr tho people be stealing guard rails just for the scrap value
a small, stiff, front wheel drive car is a whole different kind of fun. especially on twisty mountain roads. people bring super cars, porsches, corvettes, and other sports cars and dont realize they are really missing out on these narrow roads lol

Well well well Caleb it was only a few days ago we (John, Joel, and Dylan) mentioned you should hit up the mountains while we were at your shop for the dyno session in the black miata. Awesome to see a video only a few days later on one of our favorite mountain passes of the area. We hope to bump into you some time up there! Also, if you'd like a route of our loop or some miatas to chase for next time we can gladly provide.

I went on that first road back in march on a motorcycle. There was a guy absolutely ripping a Miata and it reminded me of you haha.
My work takes me to Greenville SC. I've been drive the roads to the north and west of there for fun on the weekends when I have to stay over. I haven't made it over as far as 60. Will have to check it out. The whole area has some fun roads, 23 comes to mind. I'm always in boring rental car, but it's still good to get out in the hills.

Favorite road of all time. Wolf Pen Gap is goated around there. Me and a couple other buddies in Athens are going up there the 8th if you want to go again!

sweet honda fit bro! if you are thinking about painting then I definitely recommend going for white paint and add the red honda type r logos to it! wheels can be any color.
I had to double vacuum T to mine since I wasn't running a ton of boost, made less flutter and it opened better.

i know it's a drive but Suck Creek mountain in Tennessee is a ton of fun to drive up and down. Notable stop is Prentice Cooper forest preserve! I drive my type n up there all the time!
I drove those roads in 2010 in a 1990 suburban xl with bald tires. I was a lunatic.😊

The next time you’re up in the mountains Blood Mtn in Blairsville is a great road as is Fort Mtn in Ellijay. Tons of fun roads in the N GA mtns.

0:42 The way I like to go is up blood mountain to 180 then to hwy 60 . On weekends it is still not busy unlike the Dragon, much safer and laid back. Watch out for the law, safety first of course. Sunday mornings are good people are at church but sports car guys and motorcycles are still there. Go after caffeine and octane in Kennesaw and you might see a bunch of big dollar sports cars.

You should try Russell scenic hwy near Helen those are some nice curves and great views plus semi trucks can’t use that hwy

I traded my 2016 EX-L in a year ago for a Kona N and I can't help but think I'm missing out by not owning a fit, as slow as they are I love how practical they look and how fun they are to drive. I feel like I can't really give it the beans as often in the Kona N because it's a little too fast for city streets, 🤔

Also, consider doing the least expensive best bang for the buck BBK. The Mini Cooper 280mm rotors & 99-00 Integra Type-R/CRV calipers. I did that on my GD along with stainless brake lines front & rear with some higher temp DOT4 & it's SUCH a massive improvement you won't believe it & they will clear your current wheels, won't clear the stock Fit 15"s but your offset of the Konig's would be totally fine.
My kit consisted of PowerStop rebuild calipers (powder coated red for extra credit). TechnaFit brake line kit, Wagner metallic brake pads for a 1st gen TSX, Brembo drilled rotors & Mercedes Benz DOT4. I searched for quality parts that I could find on sale & all in it was $310.

Mazda 2 with 1.5 103hp (ZY-VE) is good alternative to Honda Fit. Mazda looks sportier and have better handling and suspension from factory. I can see only advantage for Fit, that it can be offered with more powerful VTEC engine.

Any Fit owners in the comments here, how is highway driving with the 5-speed? My Volvo V70 currently screams at highway speeds and I don't feel comfortable going over 75/80... was wondering if the fit is any better. Thanks yall
I bought this Fit and it cruises at 4000rpm @80mph. It's not bad. Better/lower 5th gear rpm on the highway than my 90 and 93 Miatas!
