I share how to make a leather wallet rope from round leather.
A leather craft book I read long ago found a technique for extracting strings from circles.
But I did not find it on the internet now.
Following my memory, I remembered and made this technique.
It is difficult to get long, uniform width strings from a piece of leather.
You can do that by cutting the leather into a perfect circle. (The central part is distorted due to its short diameter. It was reused as a string to bind leather.)
There are a variety of weaving techniques available on the web, so try it out as you like.

Maybe this is a 2mm tanned leather. It should be as tight leather as possible.
I am still using the one I made in this video. Too sad I can't put the pictures here to show you. It has now turned a very nice color!😉
That's really muy buen trabajo JP. Never lose your wallet!! I used to wear a chain on my wallet when I went out at night but .... I've been using the same wallet since 1994.

For this, I used briwax. I'm always on the lookout for effective waxes for leather.
