pierre richard Dalcourt There’s nothing on Xbox that rivals it if you ask me... or at least until ACC releases on console. Even then, I think ACC will need a few patches to get it right as these games are never perfect when first released.
Thanks, Jay. Just purchased this game today. My experience of driving games has been limited to either open world games or arcade style racing games. PJ2 is a very different beast, as you can tell. This video, among a few guides i've read, has been an excellent start.

@@jaysysumakaRatMaster3 Game controller (i'm playing on a PC). So far, it's just ok. But, I get the feeling this a game I really need to sink my teeth into. It's literally day 1 for me on this game so far and i've only played around an hour. So i'm barely an amateur. I plan on watching some more videos to actually get to know the menus and teminology (example; the different brake and axel settings etc...). I'm not a petrol head so i'm actually learning a lot about motorsport as a spanner in the works too. So these videos are absolutely a help.
Well I’d say try and just get used to driving 1 car for now... The GT3 series is obviously the busiest online car class. So something like the Lambo or the Audi R8. Get used to how one car feels for a few days. They’re all very different and just use the loose default setup. It’s more than fast enough to win races. Then progress from there. It takes some getting used to but you can certainly top the leaderboards with a controller.
@@jaysysumakaRatMaster3 Noted. I am starting campaign but in the earliest stages (the karts) and i'm using this experience to learn about tyre slicks and suspensions etc...I'll watch some more of your content as it's been terrific. Thanks again, mate!

This is like my 5th video trying someone's configuration 😂 I haven't tried yours yet but I'll give a try. I'm use to Driveclub and Grand Turismo Sport already smooth and set for you. I just bought PC2 and I've yet to play cuz I keep turning it off due to spinning all over. Like I said, I've tried 5 diff configurations, which means I turned my PlayStation off 5 times in 3 hours 😂 After my brain reset I'll try yours 🤞🏾👍🏾 Thanks in advanced!

I personally dont notice any frame drops on high graphic mode on One X, I think the frame rate might be useful for One s users
That’s weird then cause I notice it massively from time to time... Maybe it’s when there’s quite a few drivers in the mix, and then a number of drivers quit the race for one reason or another. I’ve seen it on a number of occasions where I have like a few frames jump forward every 2 seconds which is really off putting.
I think by reducing the demand on graphics, it’s got to help the overall stability of the game.
Good video! Are these settings trial and error over time or are these the best combined settings you've found online over time? Just got project cars can't quiet dial all the settings in there's so many and hard to find a best settings video. I'm on Ps4 pro so same settings as you ya think will be good? I always use cockpit too more immersive and just got my first wheel t300rs gt edition and race seat so just getting to grips with everything. Ffb settings be similar too? I'll try informative I'm on raw atm settings don't feel right atm I'll try these! Any tips for starting out? Thanks man. Subbed!
Richard Little Thanks for the comment pal and the subscription. With regards to the settings, these are all the settings I’ve dialled in over the last few years of playing the game. Since it’s release there’s been numerous patches which have changed the feel of the FFB along with the performance of the game. Along the way there’s also been numerous firmware updates for the Fanatec equipment I use. Some changes have been welcomed and some have caused me issues trying to find a better balance to the feeling through the wheel.
Right now, these are the settings I’m happy with and which seem to offer a good level of immersion.
There’s plenty of tips and tricks on my channel so if you’re struggling in any areas of the game, I’m sure you’ll find the answers somewhere on my channel.

Great video...on setup. Fantastic driving. I just started PC2 and I am a vintage freak. I actually drive a 1952 MGTD. Could you tell me how to transfer replay video to CZcams or another format? Is it possible?....thanks...

LAS thanks for the comment. Firstly, what ever platform you’re using (Xbox, PS4, pc) you’re going to need a separate external hard drive.
On Xbox, because that’s what I’m using, once you add a separate external hard drive you can capture footage for 1hr Maximum.
After you’ve captured the footage you then need to plug it into a pc and transfer it on to the pc. You can then upload it to CZcams or you could edit it on the pc.
I choose to share it with iMovie maker and transfer it to my iPhone and edit it there. Once edited I upload it from my phone to CZcams. Or I transfer it back to the pc and upload it from there.
It’s a long process creating and editing a video but very enjoyable. Hope that helps 😉

so i know there is a way to disable qualifying, is there a way to select what place you start in the race rather than having to start in last?
Surely there’s got to be an option to do this ???
IM using laptop but no stering wheel as yet what is the best set up in my situation. Ive only had the game for about two weeks. Thought during lockdown id give it a try. I have an AMD ad processor 8 gig ram.
Andrew Clarke is say your probably best off looking at these controller settings if the your case.

In the calibration settings menu... it’s below wheel calibration.

I have a problem. I messed kinda with my settings and now I have to reset them back. Please tell me how to reset the settings back.
I’m sure there used to be a reset to default button somewhere. What settings aren’t you happy with?
I am not happy with the control of the engine setting and ignition I have to reset them so the engine never stalls when I rev on the race or press r2 to throttle.
Interesting… I’ve never had the engine stall, maybe if you’re using the manual clutch but I never used the clutch pedal.
@@jaysysumakaRatMaster3 I'll explain. When I started the race the engine was off and can also turn off when revving on the race. Anything to fix this?

Как настроить взгляд налево направо? Камера поворачивает только если вид сзади.а в салон/ кокпите не смотрит!!! Да и инвертированно.
Вам потрібно буде подивитися на меню призначення кнопок. погляд ліворуч і праворуч має бути досить стандартним варіантом. Можливо, вам доведеться призначити їх клавішам, які ви хочете використовувати. Сподіваюся, це допомагає?
@@jaysysumakaRatMaster3 не помогает ведь. То есть настраивается,но работает только при ввиде камера сзади машины. В других случаях камера не смотрит в стороны,а только назад,
