  • ADV Gourmet Video Description
    In this video, I have traveled 2800 miles in the last couple months along with daily riding and decide at 20,000 miles that it’s time for some regular maintenance and a new clutch installation. I start with an oil change, then I remove the O2 Sensor to clear an engine code from the dashboard. I replaced the O2 sensor with a steel plug in the header and a bypass plug in the electric side to keep the codes from reappearing. I have also added a header, exhaust, and upgrade intake to this bike and this mod almost completes the system. This is an OUTLAW MOD and is not recommended for use on public streets. For TRACK USE ONLY.

    now your ecm thins its running 14.7 all the time and not making necessary correction for climate and lean/rich conditions. not a wise mod. your o2 sensor has a job. adding resistors will keep it in one parameter all the time in every fuell
    cell table

    I heard drilling 12 mm homes in the air box lets the O2 sensor sensor better. Going up 2 steps with a hotter spark plug helps compensate for the extra 02. Plus using 110 octane race have has a positive throttle affect for better traction control while using the rev limiter

    Removing the side panels was the hard part. Now throw it on a Dyno, we need numbers. 👊🏽🍺

    Do you feel more improved torque before 5000 rpm? Do you feel like your bike is lighter (deceleration feel lesser engine braking) or heavier (deceleration with greater engine braking)? If it causing "lighter" bike, i plan to blank my O2 sensor too. I got MT07 same engine CP2.

      The T700 already has massive torque so its still has lots but opens up the ability to open up quicker

    Why would you do this? If you have problems with sensor ‘rubbing then fix whatever is causing the rubbing.
    The O2 sensor has a function to help engine run smoother and be safe.
    If you want a smoother power delivery fit a piggy back power commander like rapid bike evo or equivalent

      I have more power and it works for me. Thanks for watching!

    Did this but did it the right way with a tune/reflash from the recommendation by the tuner. Most these people in the comments dont know the cp2. My tuner has done thousands of cp2 engines I'll trust him. If your up to it hit up 2wdw for a reflash and the will set you straight. Dont listen to these people that think they know better but really dont.

      So since you did it through 2wdw, what were the before/ after results and how does it ride now? That’s who I’m thinking of going through too..

    • @advgourmet
      @advgourmet  Před 2 měsíci

      Rides great no issues may use a bit more petrol but thats well worth the power increase payoff!

      @@advgourmet good to hear that..glad it helped the bike..what’s the new hp and torque please? If you don’t mind..

    That O2 sensor you removed controls your AFRs. so now you just put the ECM into limp mode, its now just gunna run super rich, dump carbon on your valves, loss of power and mpg, dirty up the exhaust even faster, dirt up sensors and sparkplugs, over work the fuel pump, and it will run hotter now, which in turn will deteriorate your cooling system. what was the point? that little bump of occasional power you feel because you're over fueling?

    first of all screw it if it's outlaw or not and second of all it gives no more power but smother ride in low revs,
