    Did they manage to sort out the ECU warning light? Look forward to your next video and feedback and whether you genuinely feel a difference in the first 5% of throttle input and any change to the overall pick up on the throttle.

    Nice Vid! I've been thinking of doing an ecu flash on mine and that def helps showing some results. My main concern on mine is how lean it is running, looks like yours was up there too.

      @@BikesofRye That review you did of the 890R and others were all saying good things about it, so I subscribed to Bikes of Rye, bought the 890R and never looked back👏😂 Actually was checking out your channel because of your old Street Triple, the 890R and the new MT09 were the three contenders that had made my shortlist. Often wonder how I would’ve gotten along with either of the other two.

      @@BikesofRye the way Woolwich do it, is putting fuel into the cylinder on the overrun (as they can't adjust the throttle bodies on a cable throttle) so you get lovely pops and bangs when you come off the gas hard! :)

    Hi. I have a 2018 street triple e I'm thinking on remapping the bike. I know you've done it on your rs. What were the gains, like in terms of top speed as opposed as it was before, and other things...
    Thank you 🙂

    • @BikesofRye
      @BikesofRye  Před rokem +1

      Top Speed is limited to 149mph. I am not entirely sure this can be raised but if so then it won't be much more than that. Bikes midrange increases and it is more keen to wheelie. Less hesitation and smoother throttle

      Personally the S1000R that is what I enjoy riding the most out of the two if I had to pick. However I guess I am fortunate I can get to enjoy what the Tenere can do that the S1000R cannot do.

    I never managed to map out the snatchy on off throttle on my mt07. Totally smooth from 1-100%, but that 0-1% seems to be hardware related..

    Yamaha loves to make bikes with a twitchy/snatchy throttle. Ever since they went EFI in o4 they cant get it right on factory tunes. My 04 xt660x was the worst throttle i have had. My 2015 mt09 is okay but still snatches in the low gears.

      @ThePresidentofMars I did some research! At the moment I can legally put an aftermarket exhaust, without any cats! If I take out the cats on the OEM system, I'm breaking the law! I spoke to two tuners, they told me the bike would need a retune for fuel and air! I was also told the tune would make it better than the euro category it was in! Ie less emissions! I found this odd! If tuners can do an expensive cat delete and make it better for the environment, why force the mining of rare metals(which is an environment disaster) why force us to buy expensive aftermarket parts to make it run better!
