We could kill any kinda racism with music....good people is good people.....
Amen. Only love and good vibes. Wish the world worked that way
Amen.
I SO AGREE
Thank you for saying that. I've been so sad with all the hatred going on lately
We are ONE
Music is our collective Souls essence 💞
Preach brother !!
Watching black people who've never heard Chris reacting to him has become one of my favorite pasttimes. Could watch these all day.
I'm a 60year old black man and this is my new favorite song. I have always liked the blues but this is super hot or as they say these days, this is Fire with a capital F.
I am a 53 yr old whote woman and grew up with Luther, Marvin, Berry and Keith Sweat and this man Chris reminds me so much of them
Chris Stapleton is a Bluesman with so much soul! In my opinion, he is more blues and soul than country. And I’ll forever stand by that!
Chris isn't singing, he's sanging. A unique talent.
Love seeing people’s reactions when they first hear Chris sing. Classic.
Im just surprised at the people who haven't heard him yet. Either that or they are faking it for views lol
@@theWWineGuy Q
@@theWWineGuy country is the most hated genre of music to todays youth for the most part. Its usually they listen to rock rap and pop or just country
Always that "face"....lol
This is my favorite thing right here, the reactions are always the same, pure amazement and love.
Blues is just as much a root for country as it is for r&b and hip hop. Storytelling. Soul.
When I have anxiety I can just turn on some Stapleton and his smooth soulful voice calms my nerves. He’s amazing.
I'm 75 yrs old and have always loved the blues. When I listen to Chris's music, it reminds me of being a little bit drunk and out on the dance floor. Tennessee Whiskey is that close dancing, crotch rubbing soulful music we all used to love. 😊
You know what they say, "Country is the white man's blues, and blue's is the black man's country."
Lovely!
It's all music, we all the same. We all human. C'Mon now, there is no such thing as race, just personal judgements. Blindly love everyone and be your own judge. It's not difficult.
@@williamrodriguez-pupo1221 AMEN!!!!!
@@williamrodriguez-pupo1221 couldn't agree more 👏
There was also a Black Country Music Singer as well.
I'm a 64-year-old woman and I get chills when I hear this man sing. I would love to hear him sing gospel.
Same Gurl!
A 71-year old woman can also get chills over this song. Trust me, I know.
He sings gospel folks. CZcams it!!!
I’d love to hear him sing anything. He puts his whole heart into his singingq
He could sing the phone book and I would get chills.
This is a mixture of blues and country... that guitar is pure ol’ Mississippi Delta Blues....Wow!!!!! This is for everyone that loves music.....
Country and Blues grew up together. Heart and Soul.
Watching people react to Chris for the first time just never gets old! 😂
“What rock have I been living under” 😹 that’s exactly what I was thinking the first time I heard his music.
My first time hearing this too!! Where havenI been this is perfection!!
Same here
Laughed my arse when he said this! Classic line 🤣😂😋👍!
Etta James - I'd rather go blind
Same DNA!!
Can't stop listening to both songs
Nothing like the blues on a rainy day. He nails it.
Him: I like blues
Me: he's gonna love this
Literally what I said out loud lol.
First words out my mouth fr. Your gonna get down on this right here!
I said it too.
Same here
Country music used to be called “country rhythm and blues”. This is a great example of why and, should happen more often.
Absolutely! And even that old time music was born from a wonderful blending of many voices -- many cultures coming together to create something bigger than any of us could ever hope to create on our own.
Should still be

I just love his reaction to Chris Stapleton. This song gives me goosebumps...everytime.It reaches ur soul.Love , love , love his reaction...and now he's a fan.
I love seeing people hear good music and see the joy in their face it's intoxicating and beautiful. We are all so connected when we open to doors and to let each other in
I dont even put him as country i say he is "Southern Soul"!!
Right!!!!
Same
I agree. You hit the nail on the head.
"Sometimes I Cry" live at the Bing Lounge. Just Chris and his guitar. No autotune, distracting dancers or choruses. Just Chris and his soulful sound.
If he liked this one....Sometimes will knock him out...
@Elaine S - yes!!
I think you should check this one out too...

Chris is my spirit being. Anyone listening to him should realize that we are all one.
Thanks for playing this for the Chris Stapleton fans. Gotta love Chris.God Bless America..
Stapleton is an awesome singer. Great control and vibrato.
His wife sings with him. From what he says she saved his life. He didn't write the song but it fits him perfectly.
Awesome song it could heal anybody’s soul and heart because it comes from the heart amen
Great reaction. I'm a blues person but I love Chris. Thank you for sharing. I love to see the shock in eyes when first hearing this song. 😅🤣
Love seeing people’s first reaction to Chris Stapleton! You didn’t hold back on the wows, chagrins & stank faces! Don’t worry .... that’s perfectly normal when hearing Chris’s songs!
Watched 3 women from UK that reacted to his video. At one point you get to see their ovaries explode. LOL
Amen
When James Brown and Ella Fitzgerald have a child named Chris......
I like that👍
That child would be Black.
Try again.
😂👍💯
@@GregoryCurtisRogersPark stfu😅😅
@@GregoryCurtisRogersPark I think he meant the vocal styles and ranges.
Your reaction to this boy singing is priceless
Thank you for your channel from a 65 yr old white grandma. You're awesome
You've been Stapletoned!!!!
You know it's good when you gotta make a stank face while listening.
u did the same
Felt it in my BONES. I had to!!
@@NOTATTS Don't know if anyone has pointed this out already, but that is his wife singing backup vocals. Also, if you see him perform this live, he looks at her for, pretty much, every line he sings. It's awesome! czcams.com/video/IBLruNfUqUs/video.html You'll also LOVE watching him play guitar.
We always look for that Chris Stapleton stank face when we see someone hearing him for the first time.
Right
I listen to all music. My choice is my choice. This is not Country. It is a beautiful mix of all .....Thank you God for this ..............
Lmfao.... I love this video.... When he stopped it and said... That's the blues!!!! And then he said ooooooooo oooohhhhhhhhh!!! Lmao ..... I frigging love this guy 🥰
Most of his reaction requests are more bluesy but he has 8 genre's listed but can sang anything literally! Hes got like 180+hits with like 6 #1s that he wrote or cowrote and has 4 Grammys in country music but he is his own genre!
And this aint even close to his best vocals!!!!
Chris got that that thang country blues and R&B
The original singer is the late great George Jones. But Chris honestly took it to a whole new level.
David Allan Coe was the original singer. George Jones was a cover also
I didn't know it was a cover
He took it to another level because he only used the lyrics. It's easy to take a garbage song to another level when you leave the garbage song behind and just sing the lyrics to the tune of an all-time classic, 'Id Rather Go Blind' by Etta James.
This song is on repeat at my house incessantly...and Morgane's voice is f'ing heaven as well!! She's an amazing vocalist and those background vocals on all of his songs are so dope! chills
As soon as he said he grew up on the blues…. I knew Chris had em
Welcome to your Chris Stapleton journey! Chris is a unique talent. He is his own genre. He sounds just as incredible live. Check out his acoustic version of Barely Alive, his cover of James Browns A Mans world and so many more. Btw that is him playing guitar in this. Thank you for your reaction! Enjoy your journey!
Chris Stapleton - I was wrong
MrEstrax already did!
Yep!! Blues soul. He’s fire 🔥
You will love Chris Stapleton
He is so underrated too. Noone gives him the props he deserves. Fire Away is good too. But this one, my fav
Underrated? I've yet to hear anyone say anything negative, nor downgrade his talent. Every reaction I watch he gets praised greatly
@@jhud2788 I mean he is not played nearly enough on mainstream radio
Hes won like, every country award possible. Multiple times
I’ve always loved Country Blues
Fire away is one of my favorites
Chris Stapleton - Death row
Mrestrax that song will send chills down anybody's spine
So sick. Love that song
Also, Daddy Doesn't Pray Anymore.
@@MichaelSimmons. Probably his most traditional country song.
I’ve done it
this man has soul in his voice... he gives so many emotions
His WHOLE first album will hit you like this!!! Not a bad song on it!!!
He is even better live🤯
Who asked for this song and artist, who ever you are Thank you!!!! Big time R&B
@Kathy Mcguire if you’re new to Chris, I recommend listening to “Death Row” and. “I Was Wrong”. He’s amazing!🤩
This song is real country a mix of blues, rock and ‘the truth’. It’s truly colorless. There is no racism in music lovers, a song can cross any color, culture, lifestyle lines
Exactly!!
Yes, he sounds the same in all his songs. He's definitely got soul in his voice!
Ok I'm loving people's first time hearing Chris's bluesy voice!!
Also he never uses auto tune when he records. Same awesome voice whether recorded or live. Fire away is deep song about a woman that is bipolar. Can't go wrong with any of his songs
Chris . I was wrong live from Austin city limits . Great song wonderful guitar
Billy Carter I already did 😀
Do it!!!
Your woman's gonna love hearing you playing this to her. Remember to have the Tennessee whiskey, strawberry wine, and smooth brandy when you do.
Music is truly the universal language, it's gets into our soul and we drift away, we don't care what color you are or nationality, it eases our minds, and we all have something in common. Music talks for us and we understand what it is saying. Love the reactions.
At the beginning when you said you liked blues, I thought, “you’re gonna love this!”
I agree with you completely. To me, he is a mix between country, blues and soul. So unique.
Yes I am a black woman who loves county music been listening to Chris for a long time this is
Chris is the truth!
George Jones sang this song years ago, pure country and Chris adds the blues. Love your reaction .
David Allan Coe released it first then George Jones covered it
Let's not go down the DAC rabbit hole! But yes!!
I believe Chris was a old black blues man in a previous life.
If like a good guitar solo check out Chris's I was wrong live Austin City Limits performance
One of the BEST love songs EVER !!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
Love everyone's 1st listen to this fabulous song
Little back story on Chris he has wrote for so many artists for years. And finally about 5 years ago he decided to record his own music. It blew up so fast. He was at the top immediately winning award after award. His wife sings alongside him. Him and Just Timberlake are very good friend. Just shows up and sings with him. They have music videos together. Every song he sings is omg just unbelievable.
So glad you loved it. You felt every song note and word he played and sang.
You like him on this? He sounds better live. He covered james brown "a man's world" he did this song with justin Timberlake at one of the country award shows. His background singer is his wife.
Yes! His cover of “A Man’s World” was unbelievable.
Yesssss
OMG IT WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD!
That was so AWESOME
@david hall I feel the same way about Timberlake, but they sounded great and lQQked like they had a great time performing together...from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠🇺🇸p.s stay safe
This man is AMAZING! His live performances are even better,I’ve seen him several times. I’m a die hard country fan!!!
I am not a country music fan at all.....but Chris is talented as anyone. Dude writes some of the best songs ever.
loved this! Country has got some amazing artists (and some not so great ones)... but Chris Stapleton is on another level. Absolutely one-of-a-kind talent that cannot be copied or explained.
Exactly how I felt when I first heard him, then his wife starts singing harmonies with him. Just perfection, the real deal right there shug. Cheryl from Tennessee
Now I'm on a mission to find all the videos of people finding Chris Stapleton for the first time! 👏👏👏👏
Music is universal.. Country music is pure
I never want this song to end
“I Was Wrong” Chris Stapleton. Definitely react to that!🔥 his live versions are amazing as well.
Mo_aal I already did✅
Listen to Sometimes I cry... it will blow you away. It is fire 🔥
This is what the world needs.❤🙏🏼
That's how I felt too when I first heard this song, like what rock have I been living under. Oh yeah he's talking to his woman. And man does he ever pour it out. And the words in this song are just awesome.
Beth Hart : I’ll take care of you , Caught out in the rain , I’d rather go blind , A change is gonna come
I'll second that. I'll Take Care Of You with Joe Bonnamassa is a great place to start. His blues guitar is top notch with her vocals.
YES!!!! Beth Hart!!!!!!💞💓💗❤️💕💖
Yes !!
I love Beth Hart
Leaving on a road trip soon. I don’t know where I’ll end up, but I do know Chris Stapleton will be along for the ride!
I love his music. He's the real deal. Genuine. Like what music used to be. He's won awards, created a lot of songs. I don't see someone's color. I look at their character. So music can bring a lot of people together without hate.
He could sing the phone book and it would be a number one hit.
His wife sings backup. Chris has anxiety and can't get on a stage without her.
Brooks and Dunn "Believe"
Hotter than FIRE! Can't touch this!!! OMG
Such a pleasure to see everyone listening to all music.
This song... is literally therapy for me... When I'm stressed I throw it on and immediately calms me...Great Reaction vid...
I agree
When you hear class you know it, "What rock have I been under..." He can flat out saaaannnggg
try Chris singing "Cold" at the CMA awards. you will be slayedz peace and love
That’s how us country boys do. Music transcends and it unites we’re all the same
Yes listen to more Chris Stapleton please broken halos no body to blame fire away sometimes I cry outlaw state of mind midnight train to Memphis are all songs you need to react to from him
I agree all of these songs are great
Broken Halos is yet another outstanding track by Chris... For sure!
His wife sings backup
Whether you an alcoholic, sober, or never even smelled whisky.......you still like this song 😃
I just love how you said “Is he talkin’ to his woman?”
You bet your sweet ass he is.
Blues, baby. 🎤🎸🎵❤️
Check out his live version with Justin Timberlake, at the CMA's. They bring the house down
I still watch it !
I downloaded it. Couldn't take a chance on losing that lightning in a bottle, it's so rare. When I turned on the TV and saw that it was a country awards show, was about to change channel, but then his twang was a lil bluesy. But when Chris hit that first run, I was hooked. And then I saw JT. And thus, history was made. Lightning in a bottle, lyrical gold struck. Video downloaded. Watch and repeat.🥃🍺🥂
You should check him out live singing James Brown, "It's a man's world".
He killed it
53 man from uk, this is one of the other country Songs I like.
I would love also to see Chris in concert of all the Blues I've listened to and feel extremely connected to I had the most amazing honor and privilege of seeing BB KING in concert twice once with Moody Blues and the second with Muddy Waters There is no concert you could ever go to that could ever beat a blues concert
Chris sings, writes, produces, and plays electric and acoustic guitar for his own music. That guitar break is Chris.
I've found over the past few years I really enjoy artists that cross/combine genres. Chris and Upchurch are perfect examples. You gotta try some apple pie shine if you wanna taste smooth...
Listen to the LIVE version…. It’s even better…. And his “Sometimes I Cry”, “I was wrong”….. so many….!!!
