We were confused at first but it’s easy to get used to ^ ^ it also frees up space so that’s good!

Buying a used 2019 odyssey and this video was SO informative! I currently have a 2010 odyssey so it's going to take some getting used to buttons for shifting and all the rest of the features. Thanks for the overview. Very helpful!

The 2018 and 2019 share all the same options. The 2019 is just the newer version of this vehicle. There was no body style change or refresh. From 2017 to 2018 is where changes were made.

Just bought a 2019 odyssey tonight. Can’t wait to get into it some more love the look and drive so far.
Timothy Sheaffer had the car for one week now. So far I’m loving it with so much extra features from my previous model. Only thing is the right turn camera has a two second delay. My 2016 was instant on when I signal right. Kinda a safety issue if you are relying on it to make a quick lane change

Man you talk FAST .... but very clear and concise. ;) Easy to understand and to the point ... awesome job! Questions: Does this have a 110V outlet? Also does it have a rear view mirror compass ... or ANY compass for that matter. Do the sun visors extend? I'm a Sienna owner (which has these features) but I'm considering switching to the Odyssey. Does it have dedicated navigation and if not ... is that an option with this trim? Thanks!
How do you put this car on Neutral via the button when the car as a computer breakdown and need a tow?
How does the tailgate remote switch work? I just purchased a 2019 Odyssey EX.
My 2019 odyssey EX doesnt have a tailgate button on the left of the dash. Is there a reason? I also can't seem get the automatic feature to work :(

What safety features are there on the push button shifter that prevent adolescents sitting in the front seat from shifting the car while driving?
SO there are safety precautions to prevent the accidental push into reverse while in drive and things of that nature. It will not allow you to shift the car that way. I suppose you could put the car into neutral but that is about it. Outside that I do not think anyone young enough to not know better would be riding in the front seat. usually that would put the younger kiddos in the back of the vehicle.
Does this vehicle not have the homelink remote system?
Homelink is in the EXL and above models.

I think the garage door function is available on EX-L models and above
No homelink on EX
Can you tell us how to program the garage door opener?
So it really depend on the garage door opener company. But the quick answer is: Press and hold the garage door open (clicker) until the light goes solid or starts to blink fast. Once it begins to do so then push and hold one of the buttons on the Homelink system in the Honda. You can pick any of the three open buttons. Once the LED changes it should be set. I would set this up near your house so you can check to make sure it took!
Question how do you put the AC on this car? I feel like all I get is a fan.
If you press the front climate button it should pull up the menu on the touch screen. From there you can check to make sure the AC is turned on, and not just the fan.
Does this Honda EX Model come with a sunroof?
The EXL (model above EX) and above come with a moonroof.
I don’t see any tailgate button
I plan to trade in my 2011 Sienna for 2019 Odyssey. Time for modern safety equipment and the Sienna didn't have Android Play.

Can you setup your seats to the position that is ideal for you?
if you are asking about memory seating, you would need the EXL. The model right above the EX.
I feel like the ex is the best bang for the buck
I see a lot of people go up to the EXL for the leather. But I would agree the EX will get you most of the tech at a lower cost.
The only problem I had with Android Auto was using the wrong type of cable. The car was unable to connect to my phone. Use a 3 foot cable with the little symbols on the plug that goes into the phone. I switched to my Samsung cable and have had no further issues. Prior to that, I thought I was going crazy. :)
I have gone through this same issue with a lot of people. Using the cheap gas station cords does not always work for iPhone or Android users.
Honda sensing available on the lowest trim?
It is not. It is on the EX and above models.
funny because its available in the CRV LX AWD trim
Does the ex come with window shades and tinted windows?

You should have a button on the key and on the left side of the dash.

Is the S beside the D gear sport mode?
The Honda Odyssey does not offer a Sport mode. I am not really sure why they put the D/S instead of just D....
It actually does and the change is noticeable.

Where are the hazards
Going over every knob and dial is crazy talk. All people want to know is if the EX has memory seats? Power tilt steering wheel? Available sun roof?
