    Thank you! I just got mine and the official videos would take a week to watch. I just learned the basics in 14:06 and am happy to gradually figure out the fine points as I get used to my new car. I didn't even realize I had heated seats!

    Thank you so much for this informative video!! I've been searching for a review video on the Honda Odyssey. After sorting through many boring/pointless videos, this is the first video that has captured my attention and made me want to go purchase one right away.

    Got one of these three months ago and love it! Question: What do Odyssey's have that SUV's don't have? Answer: Easier egress and degress, quieter and more comfortable ride, more room, smarter owners.

      The Toyota Sienna is a better Mini-Van. I had an Odyssey for 14 years and now own a 2016 Sienna - it's a better Van.

    • @DamienMarquesDaSilva
      @DamienMarquesDaSilva Před 6 lety

      @@paulknowles1763 Are you really saying that you 2016 sienna is better than your 2002 Odyssey?

    • @paulknowles1763
      @paulknowles1763 Před 5 lety

      @@DamienMarquesDaSilva My Odyssey was a 2009 --- and i loved it. But this 2016 Sienna is a notch above the Odyssey in my opinion. I also did own a 2005 Odyssey. I would rate the Sienna a 95 on a 100 scale and the Odyssey a 90 on a 100 point scale. Both great Vans - but my Sienna is just stronger in a number of ways.

    • @paulknowles1763
      @paulknowles1763 Před 5 lety

      @J T I liked both mini-vans --- i just like the Sienna much better. The new Odyssey's don't even have a gear shift - they have levers that you have to push to engage the gears - ugh! Not good. And my 2016 also has a real key - which i prefer over the push button starters. Like i said on a scale of 10 --- the Odyssey would be a 9.0 and the Sienna would be a 9.5. I loved my Odyssey's - but the Sienna Toyota is just a little bit better all around.

    @deniskosorukov4012 Před 5 lety +3

    Very important key features that are no longer available in new Odyssey: 1) right side mirror camera - great safety feature 2) second raw seats don't fold down - major inconvenience if you need to transport big flat items 3) no cooling box - was great 4) no compass - this one is downright ridiculous

  • @polcore443
    @polcore443 Před 4 lety +2

    So the difference between the ex and exl is the leather seats, power hatch open and the 2 button memory seating setup. I'll probably go with the ex. I will miss the side camera though for switching lanes.

      I'm curious what your fuel usage is. I drove my 2019 for 125 miles, most of it 65 mph on freeways (in economy mode), and was surprised to see I was getting only 16 miles per gallon. My 2016 Pilot is far more fuel efficient, getting 30 miles/gallon on long stretches of open highway. I realize these are different cars, but the disparity was a surprise.

    This was a good general quick review. What would be the chances of you including a detail review on the engine and transmission and engine fluid change points/areas? Like where the oil filter is? Where is the oil fill port? Transmission fill and drain ports, and what type of transmission(s) types standard vs.other? battery placement, etc... Basically, whats under the hood. What type of brakes and rotors etc... I'm a DIY guy and I look and think about stuff like this before I make purchase my cars. Just wondering.

    How would you say this compares to a 2016 Touring Elite?
    I purchased my wife the TE brand new a few years back. We find the vacuum is a joke and the wide screen tv has subpar picture quality. We love everything else on it though.
    Main things I like is the power doors/hatch, sound system, memory seats and the fact that it still runs flawlessly at right at 60,000 miles.

    • @JustinFullerReviews
      @JustinFullerReviews  Před 5 lety

      From 2016 to now there have been some upgrades as you have seen. I like the sliding rail system for the seats better now. The power doors are the same. I believe the sound system has been upgraded. And memory seating is the same. The 2019s are BluRay. I do not remember, I believe your 2016 is regualry DVD. So the quality should be better...

    • @LordDeadSpider
      @LordDeadSpider Před 5 lety

      justin fuller Thanks for the reply. And yes, the 2016 TE sports a dvd system. But the actual widescreen display is far below dvd quality. I mean it is real bad. The color saturation alone is bloated. The picture detail is not good at all.
      I may be swapping my wifes 2016 TE for a 2019 EX-L. If I am looking at it right it will be an upgrade for the most part.

      It is an active headrest designed to prevent wipelash in an accident. Many customers find if the adjust the seat and lean it back just a small amount they can correct this to their comfort.

The new safety guideline does make companies to do this because of wipelash but percentage of people who get wipelash are very small but yet lot of people are complaining about neck pain that leads to neck disc problem. Hope they change it.

    Great van can't tow most trailers. So if you have kids and want to get a travel trailer eventually to reduce costs its not the one for you. Sorry, I am just going through this now. Max Tow is 3,000 lbs old cars from the 60's could tow more but now adays most cars and vans and even jeeps can't. Sad that.
