- Hey guys! This is my take on the 2019 Honda Odyssey Touring; holy brand new technology and design! Completely equipped with anything and everything you could possible be want out of a van, this Odyssey has it all. The third row seating is extremely comfort and you can keep all your passengers happy with the rear entertainment TV and the comfort texture of the leather seats. The transmission is buttery smooth, the suspension is above average for a van and the driving experience is worth one more drive. I was never a huge Honda fans but ever since the 2016, they have impressed me over and over again. I'd strongly encourage everyone to see it and experience the 2019 Honda Odyssey in person. I hope you guys like it and let me know if there is anything that you guys really liked that I may have missed.

My Odyssey Elite 2016 compare to Touring looks older now. wow lots of features. dose this Touring have Blind spot monitoring or Mirror camera?
I just got the Ex trim and I feel like the back cam are blurry compare to my acccord.
Very important key features that are no longer available in new Odyssey: 1) right side mirror camera - great safety feature 2) second raw seats don't fold down - major inconvenience if you need to transport big flat items 3) no cooling box - was great 4) no compass - this one is downright ridiculous
Is available stick gear in standard option or in any other option because i dont love electronic gear

HONDA is doing great in car manufacturing and standout among others..thats why i love HONDA.
Beware of the Rear Entertainment System (RES) issues if you're thinking about it. Honda dealers won't tell you about it, but just Google it. Good vehicle if you ignore the RES problem.

@@charlesdockery-diaz6956 Rear Entertainment System (RES) locking up and crashing when using Blu-ray discs or USB playback. CZcams for 2018+ Odyssey RES issues and you'll see. Sad, man.
Mac Eliot thanks. We just bought the 2019 Elite trim and it’s been giving us issues. The dealer is saying there is nothing that they can do and Honda is saying that they are looking into it. The biggest frustration is that more things keep popping up besides the RES issues (which I thought it was just me, or at least that is how the dealer was making me feel). On top of having RES issues, we don’t have any streaming apps (no EPIX, toongoogle, pbs kids, happy4kids). According to the dealer they don’t come preloaded on the 2019 Honda Odyssey only the 18s. Then our wireless charging pad started going in and out and I was advised that it’s because of how I am placing my phone on the wireless charger yet, on the 2019 loaner it works fine and it has the preloaded streaming apps. It is a nice van but the issues are really starting to eat up all of my patience.

Bought 2019Honda touring new, has 46 thousand k on it, I give it a c rating, now there is a fuel pump recall, dealer does not have the part.

Funny that he never once mentioned kids when the minivan's primary customer base are families with kids.
In fact, the features he mentioned were designed for kids:
- Camera to see passengers in their seats. That is for moms to monitor their fighting kids.
- Side sunshade for second row. This is to keep the sun from shining on a baby's face as s/he sleeps.
Sure, adults can enjoy these features too but they are critical when you have kids because you must keep them from distracting you while you drive.
Adults can suck it up on their own. Kids can't or won't!

this is Canadian Market. Touring is the top of the line. No elite trim available here.

Not much changes! It's probably best to get 2018 clearance stocks as 2019s arrive
2018 has no power tailgate and has shifter
@@seanmarxmorales8962 I own a 2018 and this is not true. 2018 is essentially identical to 2019. Only difference is that there's two USB charging ports instead of one in the center storage area.

You are limited on the miles for a lease and we will be driving it a lot.
When you hit the bottom of the car to open/close the trunk it should take a long time because of safety purposes. Click read more to know exactly why
You need time to get out of the way of the trunk when it closes or it will hit you

Electronic transmission- 🤦no way that's just not a good idea.. its a disaster waiting to happen prefer shifter knob but nice looking honda odyssey.
test driven Crv, Mdx, Odyssey. Mdx wins all the time. Odyssey gives a feel of sitting inside a plastic box all the time. Doesn't feel safe when comparing to Mdx. Only thing is the space and 3rd row seat that keeps us leaning towards Odyssey. Trying to find an alternate.
Buyer Beware..... Don’t buy! Major issues with the Rear Entertainment System and the rear doors that don’t open or close properly. Honda has kept their car owners without solutions for months. Even consumer reports downgraded the car for its reliability with the number of issues customers are facing. The car does not have adaptive cruise (all speed too). This video is great and highlights all the great features of the vehicle , unfortunately they all fall apart due to the pain customers have to go after getting the top of the line Odyssey.
Dude every mini van with power doors has problems it's not just Honda
Honda has two setting for the power slinding doors i think.
If the glasses are open the door will not completly open its a safety feature to prevent kids from putting hands in between.
If you want to open fully
You will have to close the glass window i think.

No power tilt telescopic steering wheel even in the highest touring elite is a complete joke. What guy would want to re-adjust the steering wheel every time their 5'2" wife gets out of the car. It takes much more effort to adjust the steering wheel to my preferred angle than to adjust the seat. They also need to hide that ugly rear wiper up under the spoiler, which Lexus has been doing for 3 years now. I don't know why so many reviewers go crazy over the vac. You can get a very compact cordless car vac for 30 bucks. I do like that they got rid of the ugly dash mounted bus driver type shifter.
No panoroof lame. Is it even available? For big haulers a panoroof is a must. I don’t know why the Germans and Koreans almost offer a panoroof for every vehicle but the Japanese can’t? I wanted to buy the Acura MDX but no panoroof. I guess I’ll just settle for a RDX and maybe buy a minivan for trips etc. so much for killing 2 birds with one stone.

Engine makes less power than competition, uses a timing belt, oil consumption and leaks problems, and transmission failure issues. Conventional corrosion protection that is lesser quality than competition.
