- I posted this the night before I found out the news about uno wheeler. He unfortunately has passed away. He fixed my board and was a Onewheel genius. For that I am sorry to say that you cannot acquire his talents anymore I’m sure there is someone on the Onewheel forum that can help you out. Unowheeler was the best, he swapped out my tire 3 days before he passed. He is sorely missed in our communtiy.
Probably gonna do it this way but with PVC Soo if somethings binding or going in crooked the PVC will give instead of metal on metal

What did you use between the old bearing and new? Was it wood or cardboard?

Did you have any problems with the onewheel since this bearing swap? Im swapping bearings too pretty soon and im looking at different ways to do it without using a press
G S not at all! Just gotta really pay attention to what you’re doing during the process
@@renadodurley1928 i ended up using the heat and freeze method where you freeze the bearing and heat up the hub which worked nicely on one bearing. The other one I ended up using a piece of wood and a hammer. Not recommended but worked like a charm lol.
How much are those Bearing Press you think?
What kind of bearings? And how many miles did you get out of them?
Back then I was doing big drops so I would only get 1,000 out of em. They were just some generic American bearing, cost like $40 per bearing
