Just a tip before you do this dudes. Don't clean the dirt off the wheel after you open it. Clean it before. You don't want any dust or dirt in your magnet. You cannot find replace o rings or internal parts. If dirt gets inside, it will grind the aluminum down and you'll be a sad dirt surfer watching your friends dirt surf while you warm the bench.
Thanks for vid, how hard was it to pull the motor out? Seemed like there’s a lot of magnetic force when out back in. Gonna try the Burris ceramic ones when I change my tire... 🤙🏽
Any high quality 6907-2RS bearing will be fine. Some people use -2RZ but the RZ is a non contact shield so if you ride in wet or dirt, your new bearings won't last long.
Hi Sonny! Thanks for the video! What is that disc tool you used under the wood to hammer the bearing out with that is a “good size” at 3:14. I need one of those!!
Hii Sonny... good job! did you ever change the bearings on a V1? when i opened the V1 motor i saw that the connector is to big to come out of the bearing...(the +&XR have a bigger axis and bearings) is there a way to disassemble the connector? thanks in advance! .pro tip... Put your new bearings in the freezer (1 hour) before mounting. if Futuremotion has worked exactly the bearings fall in almost by itself
Thanks man. I don't have a press so I thought I couldn't change my bearing.
Sonny your the man! I greatly appreciate this video. I appreciate the content your producing. #Wheeltalk
Thanks! I have a clicking bearing and have been looking for these instructions

I just tried this. It was a massive pain in the butt!!
I don't know if you can answer this/remember this but how many miles did you happen to put on these bearings?
Nice video. What was SKF code for new bearing? My board is little noisy.
