    I sound deadened the other side of the sliding door trim on the rear quarter , it made a difference when closing the sliding door, I also took the panel off below the fuel filler, it was full of dirt and started to rust as it was holding water, it’s only a 10 minute job to remove and added a bit of sound deadening to that also removed the front wing arch liner, cleaned the panel and added up there as well as doing the underside of the bonnet

    • @DanChambersDAC

    • @wandango5913
      @wandango5913 Před rokem

      @@D4VE26 if you open the filler cap door you’ll see a hole on the bottom right of the plastic, there’s a bolt in there, I think it’s a torx35 of the top of my head but not 100% sure, once you’ve taken the bolt out the panel will slide to the left and unclip of the bottom clips, you may need a magnetic socket as it can be a bit of a faff to get the bolt back in

    I have use CT1 for fitting Solar panels to roof of Caravans and Motorhomes. I even used it once to repair the top Inter cooler hose of my Sprinter based Motorhome when it split and put my into Limp home mode. Or Limp to Scotland from Sheffield were we had stopped to look at a Border Collie that we were picking up on the way back home. I could have left it as a permanent repair it was that good. It is bloody good stuff. If you do get it on your skin then I found that baby wipes are pretty good at getting a lot of it off. even better is Isopropyl Alcohol. I often forget that I own gloves to keep my cleanish.
    I would love to do a van conversion. That was the original plan when were first thought about having a van to go off grid camping in. Ended up buying a Motorhome instead as I would probaly still be doing it now with all the other projects I have on the go with the House.
