Little playboy TikTok kid. Does that make you feel good. Every reply you make has to be short, snarky, and mean spirited.? What would your mom say.? Big hug. 🤗 💕
Smoked with no bark? Lol. Means you aren’t actually infusing any of the flavor. You’re using an outside oven. Guarantee that thing is dry as soon as you cut it and has very little actual flavor. CZcams should force a warning for people who tell people to waste money and cook like this.
ooof that's pretty harsh! I've been making tri tips for many years now and never with a bark- but I am always willing to try new things and will look into trying it that way. After all you wouldn't be so passionate about a tri tip on a random person's site if not. :) I tend to not cook it to achieve bark because I don't want a brisket style tri tip and don't want to cook it to that high of a temp- otherwise I'd just cook a brisket. However, I can actually guarantee you the tri tip I cook is never dry :) because I pull it off at med-rare temps and you should try my recipe and confirm for yourself before being so adamant. Hope you have a great week! @@nerdpolice829
How are you going to get bark on a tri tip that's only in the smoker for half an hour? LOL @nerdpolice829 Bark has nothing to do with infused flavor, it's only on the outside. Besides, tri tip has plenty of flavor by itself.
@@ATableFullofJoy It went over very well with the bday guests. Only change I made was to have some au jus on the side. I'll need to increase the smoke time too and get it just a bit more tender but the taste with seasonings was great!
Please do not actually rub in your seasoning. It creates clumps and an uneven coverage. In all fairness, as long as you are happy with your product, that is all that matters. What kind of cooking method did you use?
OMG! E for effort. Tri-Tip is a tough meat. Needs to be grilled low and slow. And cut acrossed the grain. The way you cut the tri-tip with the grain will make any tri-tip chewy and hard to eat. Plus need to let it rest for at least 10 minutes. I did like the ingredients though.
Can’t believe you actually posted this… it looks dry like driving through the desert 🌵 zero moisture! Additionally is that sand you dropped on? One more thaaang horrible music and you need to relearn how to BBQ I mean even if it tastes like jerky don’t mean it’s presentable as a tri tip
It’s all dried up 💀💀💀💀
😅😅😅😅
Wow, the dryness and no bark! Looks like half finished beef jerky
lol I can see where it might look like that but it is plenty juicy :)
think he meant the bark looked dry. @@ATableFullofJoy

Tri tip needs a bark. I wouldn’t recommend that rub or whatever method you used.
Most likely smoked or baked over a pit it’s very different
Correct it is smoked. And didn't need a bark- it always turns out amazing!

So much negativity in the comment section looks good to me its tri tip ppl its not the best cut but with the right spices can make it taste good
Thank you so much!
I use one similar but I use mustard as a binder and add ground coffee in my rub along with some pepper 🌶️ flakes
I've never tried coffee but heard good things!
I cook tri-tips every couple of months. Going to try it this way tonight and see how it turns out. Cheers!

Thanks! I smoked this one which definitely makes the bark look dry even though it turns out incredible every time. How do you add seasoning to yours?
@@ATableFullofJoyu just sprinkle evenly. It sets when cooking or marinating if you’re going that route
