Nick sirriani inherited a stacked roster. What has he really accomplished? Making a super bowl with Devonte smith, AJ brown, an elite o line, good defense. Dude was propped up by the talent on his team and his coordinators who dipped. Its crazy people consider him an elite coach

I commented at the beginning of the year, “these Eagles and Jalen hurts aren’t what people think they are. Watch, they’ll crumble.” And look..What’s most crazy to me is, coaches are treated like couples. People in a relationship who think they can do better. So they leave that person. To “upgrade”. Only to realize, it’s not always an upgrade. And sometimes, the grass ain’t greener on the other side

I don't get it. The niners had many coaches leave. Robert Saleh leads the Jets, Demeco Ryans leads the Texans, Mike McDaniels leads Miami. And even then the niners under Kyle are doing fine. Nick Siriani does not hire the right people, or has no idea of how to hire coaches. The best thing y'all can and will probably do is hire off the niners. Because the commanders even want to take Steve Wilks. Kyle can make calls, Nick wont make calls.
Because Shanahan works really well in terms of the offensive side: Mcdaniels, Slowik all worked under Shanahan who loves assistant coaches that understand scheme. The defensive side is more Lynch and Shanahan finding the right coaches BUT that defense is stacked with good drafting. I just dont see Wilkes doing well as a HC with Commanders. Much like Saleh has not been able to have a dominant defense with the jets. The niners currently have some blue chips on defense: Bosa, Warner, Hargreave, Armstead Young. I think Mcdonald DC from Ravens is more prepared to be a HC: the guy basically dismantled the Shanahan offense that was averaging 30 pts per game.

What LeSean McCoy is not getting right is that it was his coordinators that made who Nick Srianni who he is today.....after they left for their own teams....this team just didn't feel right like previous years....the gameplan was stale...and the creativity from previous games/years was missing. We'll only know how much losing 2x coordinators in one offseason will effect Philly in subsequent years....right now everyone is blaming on players acclimating to a new staff....but how long do you give out this excuse....these are professional athletes...they get paid to do this...no excuses!

Jalen Hurts has not progressed as a passer. Dak was a dual threat but clearly decided after 2 seasons to focus on being a passer and now he is a top 5 passer in yards almost every season.
Do you understand why? Mike McCarthy has implemented the West Coast offensive system where the quarterback gets the ball out quickly.
The Philadelphia Eagles do not even have a hot read, on a blitz, for Jalen to throw the ball to. If you don't watch the Eagles play, you are going to be very unfamiliar with the level of ineptitude that the coach is possessed. Jalen lost his offensive coordinator who was clearly the brains behind the offensive production.

The lack of legit RPO has ruined the efficiency and rhythm of the offense. That is the problem. It's not just about the threat of Hurts running. The RPO with Hurts forces the Eagles to "dink n dunk" and run the ball. The RPO also results in quick efficient pass plays. Quick decision making. Not WRs just running go routes down the field all the time. Too many long development plays always looking for the deep shot ruined the offense. They don't need to adjust but get back to what they do well. The RPO. The defense is another story.
Brian Johnson and Nick Siriani have different plans unfortunately. Steichen was more than just competent. He understood to set up big plays he needs to lean on the short game and run. Long possessions, 4 down football.

As a Philadelphian, I can assure you that Nick Siriani and the rest of the coaching staff lost the locker room with their horrible offensive coaching and play-calling. The players don't respect the coaches, and its showing in their play. all of these coaches should be demoted and Nick Siriani needs to be on noticed, because if this happened again next yr, then HE should be fired too.
If Joy, Shady, and Acho just speaks truth from a professional perspective they would have this show on point. Now James Jones always looks the best and gives the best takes. They must fix those three analyst or this show is over. Quit making narratives.

I believe that Joy is the overall strongest sports analyst on the show, except for her analysis on the Eagles. She seems emotionally attached to the idea that they are a good team and they are not.

1st, I am a Cowboys fan, so I am enjoying this a little bit. I am a little miffed about the Eagles, which basically have the same team as last year, with a great rookie class. I think Hurts played hurt for most of the season because he did not look the same running the ball. I don't think Hurts is elite, not yet, even though just about everybody in the sports world crowned him elite. He had ONE good (great) year, then he gets crowned. Now, I believe he has the talent to be elite and I like his poise and the way he stays even keeled at the times and his leadership. It must be the new OC, maybe they can get on the same page in the future. Defense? must be the DC.

Coordinator you could be right cus K.C. doesn't look the same without Eric Bienemy, but Dallas got rid of Moore and D4K never missed a beat. They had a favorable schedule and some good free agent acquisitions but players play and coordinators coordinate. If you don't have the right personal on the field it doesn't work. Dak should be the MVP but his helmet is not the right one. The sheagles are frauds

Shady loves to make excuses for the Eagles. He has a hard time being objective. When the Eagles went to the SB, they had the 2nd easiest schedule in the league. Those problems were there last season it’s just that they played against teams that didn’t exploit their weaknesses.

Shady has literally said previously that he can’t say everything he wants to say because he’s very connected with the ownership and locker room for the Eagles. He can’t be saying what he knows the players want to say. He stays political. But you can tell in recent weeks he’s been calling out coaches. He does it subtly and never takes the initiative on the conversation.
