I'd prefer this style that we can watch both teams' tactics in the same video over two separate vids.
But that'll be 1-vid less revenue for the content creator.
Why so?.. it's better to have two separate videos as it covers more detail and yes i also agree with the above comment that it creates more revenue which is definitely good.
@@aryo_1582 bro, this match actually not much to talk about tbh. This match focus on Inzaghi's convincing win vs Barca
Thanks for the feedback, I think this only works if one team was mainly defensive because imagine if inter had displayed many more variations when they were in possession, the video would be close to 20 mins
@@FootballMadeSimple so, in terms of content I would rather watch a 20 minutes vídeo than 2. But you also need to avaluate how The algotithm Will be better for you.
It’s games like this where messi and KDB prove to be so valuable, they can pick out long passes to move the team forward, take 1 on 1s and shoot from long distance, Barca today had none of that they were hopeless
That's why xavi wanted Bernardo Silva
they dont have kessie, its pretty obvious they began to attack after he plays. Gavi still small, he shouldnt play big gamr like this, and Alonso, kick him out, he is useless for wasting the ball
@@jun1art they were attacking before kessie what r u sayin
@@meshackwaugh1969 what he is saying is that barcelona attacked better once kessie came on
Kessie has Italian experience too so not starting him made zero sense. I love gavi but he should have been used wither on the right forward instead of dembele or left on the bench for 2nd half. Dembele was trying to do too much and ended up slowing the attack and if you give inter a second to regroup they will erect their wall again. We were too slow. Pep and city play fast like we used to and need to get back to that
As long as we can't deal with teams sitting deep after they score through moments of brilliance we won't make it far, those moments will become more common as you advance CL cuz it's the best teams in the world playing each other.
Low blocks teams are our nightmare tbh..
The only way to deal with it is get a midfielder who can break them with a single through Ball.
just like how messi is doing at psg
@@user99641 Yes precisely, honestly I'm not sure who that person could be for us other than Messi, Pedri is our best midfielder but he can't advance all the time, the only other player i see making excellent runs looking dangerous is FDJ and he's out injured.
@@RoodBull_SAMA I was thinking the same while watching the game. One phenomenal through ball could open up tight defenses. We have natural strikers in the front. If they were to receive a ball that goes through/over defenses like that, chances are that they can put it behind the net. All I could think, in all honesty - if only Messi was there.I still have the hope. Messi's goalscoring capability is not necessarily what we are in need of. We need his playmaking and beautiful and effective passes. Our young midfield may be able to develop the skill...with time.
@@kevinpinedarodriguez1738 Riqui Puig was a midfielder that would always look for that through pass between the defense and man does Barca need that now seeing how good Puig is playing with consecutive minutes at LA
@@kevinpinedarodriguez1738 Facts.
The 3-2-5 shape of Barca proved to be not effective. The Barca fullbacks should invert from the start of the game, this can allow Raphinha and Dembele to 1v1 more
They marked Dembele so hard that he lost the drive like giving away balls, etc. That disrupted the attacking flow.
idk why he try to get through inside the box, esp inter always play solid rock like low tier la liga/ pretty similar like atletico madrid.
@@jun1art that's Italian football, they can defend against aggressive attack and counter attack quickly like madrid. barca need aruajo to encounter them.
Inter after scoring a goal. Alright Bois, let's do the intense Italian football culture 🤣🤣🤣
It's called smartness

Yep! The same they've done in the Euro Cup 2020 right 🙂

Can you prepare a video on how could Xavi break Inzaghi's defensive system and how should he play against inter at the camp nou? because if he doesn't try something new that game would only be a version 2.0 of this one
I don’t think so. Barca can’t handle strong teams
@@jsballack1561 If Barca can handle Real Madrid, they can handle Inter, but we'll see.
@@resalatrahman5466 it's la liga, not very good league. Than you have problems with teams like Inter which are sitting in the middle of the serie a table (9/10 italian team vs 1st spain team)
@@Urbananana wdym laliga isn't a very good league? Maybe economically yes, but they won more champions league than any other league. In fact, I really like the Premier League. They really have a lot of great teams and a lot of competiton.

Exactly. Barca may have controlled possession but Inter really gave them a hard time. Well done Inzaghi. 👏
Not really dominating, they just pay the reff
@@lin5772 Inter is too broke to afford new players you think they can afford paying refs you mong
@@lin5772 he was talking about inter not barka
I don’t understand why Alonso has to play very ucl game even tho balde already proved himself to be ready and offering way more dynamic. Also raphinha on the left, it was clear for weeks now that he shouldn’t play there
I prefer Alonso
That's what I'm saying raphina should play on the right wing
Great analysis as always. Found your page few days ago and have loved it since. What would you recommend though for breaking down teams that are disciplined and play a 5 back to nullify attacks. Because I’m anticipating going forward teams will start playing 5 back against Barca.
I think if Frenkie had played, he would have devoured those space with his run and potentially bring the danger, he will be essantiel in the next game
Remember Jose beat Pep in 2010 using a similar style, Inzaghi simply said “ this is football heritage” last night😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"This is football heritage" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So like Roma lost to Betis???, football heritage
Barca needed more width on the left side, alonso was too deep and it was easy too step up on to him and stop him from turning. Not much support in the half spaces from their midfielders either.
All of this culminated in them not having much control in the final third.
Please do napoli why they are so effective on the ball. Thank you FMS
Good analysis. Note that Barella was always tasked to be present around the central for overload and in attack every time as running threat. He is more like connecting the dots here and there. Pep must have planned the way to limit his role by now :).
Couple points:
- Raphinha was absolutely isolated on the left side, didn’t receive the ball high up the pitch thus no crosses, you either start him on the right side on put him in the bench, ferran creates more chances on the left.
- Our style of play doesn’t benefit from players who always pass the ball back when under pressure (gavi, kessie)
- defenders have to pass to strikers, whom would pass it back to midfielders and run towards the goal, we can’t always have this slow predictable build up.
the problem u need to solve is : to go straight to ferran and slap his face, he thinks he is the best player ever and after so many competitors, he lost focus and not improving in every aspect, he used to be very good in space, now , he cant even catch the ball. the last problem is not possible, because barca lost both kounde and araujo who can play dan defences like rock.
@@jun1art ??? Ferran didn’t play
@@darkgenesis342 ? why did u ask that question? are u aware that I am arguing the 1st point that are suggesting ferran to play on the left?

Can you Analyse Napoli and Spaletti with his "4-3-3 vertical possession" please
Please analyse the Liverpool match as they used the 4-2-3-1 formation
Mourinho is proud of Inzaghi😂❤️
this was a very interesting analysis
Pedri should eb used more up the field, we need top notch players in that area to create clear chances.
Dude, that was not simple. Well done!
Great analysis. Thanks man
The way inter played this match with that man-to-man 5atb shape reminds me so much of the fabled grande inter side.
can you also do the Ajax-Napoli match
this match was perfect for kessie, big dude that loves to win 2nd balls, plus long shoot.
Xavi was relying on the crosses ( expected from left footed rafinha on left wing and right footed dembele on right wing) in the whole match. So nobody on the attacking side could cut inside and break inters defence lock
brother i watch all your videos you are a beast, could you make a video about Napoli-AJAX i think Napoli deserves an analysis they are playing crazy good
inter have one of world best backline in the world ,, they are so underrated but they are just good ,
Hahahaha man, im Inter fan but our back line is extremely shit, we get goals against easy in the league, only the number 19 and 20 got more goals against then us😂 maybe Handanovic is the problem, Onana is a beast
I would have switched Roberto and dembele in attack, just to hold DiMarco on the line and use the space for crossing with dembele
whats the software you are using on the TV ? to move players
8:37
Apart from not being an elite creator, Roberto could have taken better advantage of being in that position but Gavi never attacked the half space by making runs and he (Roberto) was conservative with his passes.
There was a situation in the game when Lewandowski was in the half space and Roberto could have released him with a through ball but he decided to pass to Dembélé who was always going to be double teamed. He did not overlap to support Dembele and there was hardly ever any dynamism in his game. The same could be said of the entire team on Tuesday.
Xavi's tactics was not a failure but it was marred by too much rigidity and his setup. Raphinha for one was never comfortable on the left wing talk more of playing him as an advanced 8.
Alonso was too deep and static, the midfielders never took shots on goal and so on.
It's going to be a thriller next week when we're likely going to see Inter defend with 10 men and an injury stricken Barca with 80% of the ball at the Camp Nou.
fanatics analysis...can i get the name of the software that you are using which is on the display
klopp changed his tactics against rangers.. please make a video on this ..will be so intresting

xavi is not ready for europe this scenario was clear before the match busquets offers nothing in the midfield what he can do other can do and even more pjanic should have stayed for at least one season his vision shooting and long balls are important
If you cared to use a fucking comma, your comment would be readable
Can you please make a video of what is going wrong tactically with antonio conte's Tottenham?
Barcelona is going European league
Bayan and inter is stronger than them
As a much simpler analysis: inter played extreme defense with 6/4 lines when Barça ar close to the 18m square. It's Italians old school play. Defense and conter attacks.
Could you please do ajax-napoli? That was a very interesting match.
Please a Preview Analysis of Arsenal vs Liverpool coming up on this Sunday.
Dembélé, Gavi, Baldé and Raphinha should develop their dribbling abilities even more !
Long shots should be more attempted
Better counter-pressing
More accurate crosses
4 solutions to beat those 5 defenders.
Develop their dribbling abilities even more - Absolute rubbish...Dembele is arguably one of the best dribblers in the world and you need to see Raphina Leeds Utd highlights. Their dribbling is already at the top level. And just a reminder, you're facing Inter Milan and not Viktoria Plzeň where 'better' dribbling wouldn't have led to a breakthrough.
Long shots should be more attempted - Yea sure even though the Inter defenders weren't giving them much space to shoot.
Better counter-pressing - We did counter press but we also saw how dangerous Inter were on the counter (numerous times) so that would've been a bad tactic especially if you're a goal down at an away game.
More accurate crosses - to whom? Lewa was tightly marked by about three Inter defenders the entire game. They were expecting Dembele to do the crossing (to aim for Lewa) which he did and all they had to do was wait and clear.
@@becomingdauntless8821 watch the game again. You clueless
Thanks🙌🖤💙🔥
Please do a videos for Liverpool vs rangers.....Klopp used new tactics
What I saw from the match is basically 2 key factors
1) Dembele is overrated, highly overrated
2) Mourinho famously claimed that just because you have possession, it doesn't mean anything unless you can take advantage of it. Mourinho during his Inter days proved that it's how you use the possession you have that makes you dangerous, not possession it's self. Inter was great at reading Barcelonas game and took advantage of the 30% possession it had to the fullest. When Barcelona had the possession, Inter let the come high and forced them to mistakes, which by that time did a quick counter and within a few seconds were at Barcelonas goalpost.
It turns out that Simone Inzaghi was better prepared, showing his maturity as a coach and understanding of the opponent. If he continues this type of mentality, he can make Inter successful again.
How valverde changes athletic bilbao
Always help if the referee annuls a legal goal and they don't call a penalty for clear hands inside your area...
The goal is Busquets fault being extremely slow and barsa being really uneffective in attack is fault of Sergi Romuerto being just really bad. You cannot focus on Dembele side only the whole match if u have Roberto with him...
Xavi can't break organized teams with good defensive actions, that's it till now
Thank you for the analysis
Please, Can you make Something about Napoli Outstanding Performance against Ajax
Xavi chose not to be patient and to not play through the middle. This cost him. Nothing came trying from the wing.
Great analysis, the game was highly technical but Xavi made some mistakes. Also the ref basically gave Inter the match.
Don't balme refs. U r Barca. U should be thrashing inter now that u guys have sold ur future to win now. One trick pony Xavi.
@@tarmaskhalifa871 clearly u didnt see the match. Ref gave a hand ball to barca even tho it wasnt intentional and didnt change the direction of the ball, but when inter handballed the ball, it went completely different direction (to inters advantage) and the ref didnt give handball to inter even tho it was clear as crystal and even checked VAR

Why xavi couldn't solve the puzzle
Me:bcoz he is xavi😂
Xavi is young and still learning, but we should also say that about the team. If you look back at Pep's Barça, they would always know where each other is without looking, that means they would progress the ball quicker with smart 1-2s while also having the courage to take on 1v1s. Raphinha and Dembele had a bad game, but later on in the season they will adapt and be more incisive, I'm sure.
So you're telling me kessie who specializes in running in and doing what needed to be done to win today, was left out? And Alonso who's fucken ass was a starter instead of balde who could've taken anyone on with his speed. Busquets was pressing??? WHY NOT JUST PUT KESSIE INSTEAD HE COULDVE DONE ALL THAT!!!!
exactly my point.🤔
could be favoritism.🤔
🙂
Can you do a tactical analysis of Chelsea 3-0 ac Milan?
This Gavi over Dejong is not working. Gavi should be Pedri's substitute. We need individual brilliance in the middle like that of De Jong runs and dribbles. Busquets should also be retired.
Because Farca playing game are predicable
They definitely need someone like KDB
The wingers and Alonso were the main problem at barcelona.
I believe inter can repeat this in the UCL final
From korea I want to see english subtitle pls upload
Waiting on Southampton v city analysis
Barcelona is playing a very obvious game , xavi needs to understand that dembele cannot beat 3 players at times only 2 max to show that this playstyle looking like pep's shows that this style heavily relies on a killer like messi
But analysis very nice👌
I don't know if Xavi actually analyse how the opponents are gonna play.i don't know if he discuss with his player in conference before every game like pep and Mourinho.Barca's gameplay is always predictable.Xavi might thought that since we played good game against bayern,we will go with the same approach. But he didn't know Bayern and inter's gameplay are different.Bayern doesn't suit back like inter. They have lot of space for opponents to attack.but whereas inter just sit back and wait for the correct time for counter.Xavi should know that every opponents coach does analyse our games too.And we always have to a plan B.
but i mean there arent this much plans against a deep standing team. you cant always win against this deep standing Teams. they are disciplined and closing gaps in defens with their high workrate.
@@niklas_1148 Tell that to Pep and Ancelotti.
@@silaschukwu1763 real struggeld in their matches as well against teams like this and came at the end over individual Quality, they werent having a clear plan how to create sth.. last year city against atletico they were scoring in the last minutes as well. its not always this easy bro
We lack quality players, we didn't even try to shoot from outside of the box, dembele a huge question mark, we need to seriously stop hyping average players..
The only average player being hyped in that team is Gavi. Dembele is world-class. That team would be nothing without him
@@mbizi4573 Dembele is world class ? The moment he plays against any decent European team ,he looks shit.
Agree. Dembele has very poor decision making ability. He lost ball many times just bcz he couldn’t decide where to pass! 😪 we need creative players who can actually create those chances find gaps
It’s not that, our coach can’t find solutions without out better players. He also can’t figure out a plan vs teams that park the bus
@@zulkernainyead1933 Xavi put him on right side when Inter put 2 man defending him. When Dembele switch to left side, there is an instant chance of scoring. But Xavi switch it back to right side again.
Barca just struggle against 5 at the back and I dont understand why they cross so much when teams sit deep
Goes to show how we still lack the right players
We really need a quick and expert passer at Rb
Roberto had so much space but couldn’t do much
He knew didn’t have the speed and would have cost us more if he lost the ball in a dangerous area
Apart from lewandoski nobody seemed to be running into space

dembele can't more than one player always man needed help lewa needed service alonso isn't a barca level player lets be real alba is still better
respect to sergio busquets the but in a game where you'll face alot of counter attacks positional play won't help u kessie should have started
I don't think there is anything Xavi could've won, Man City barely created anything last season against Atletico. Why would this be a different case? Even if Pep was barca coach, i don't think anything would've changed.
In this form of football so called the tiki taka there need to be a player who have the sense of putting on through balls and vehind the ball defence and a player who smells all the passes and make the through run
And barca without messi is still crap
The most difficult formation to break is 442 ,352 and 532 and in tiki taka once the wing is overloaded due to back 5 the ball will not be creative
Messi was a sublime dribbler so he had the edge but this barca team needs a player who can break the defence with passes like that of messi neymar coutinho kbd thomas muller luka modric and in young players jamal musiala is the one
And the starting should also be changed for barca to win they sold all of their tv right to play that crap🤡🤣
Like i do study football tactics i am working the the coach job and i can surely say that xavi was horrible with the planning he did not adapt to italian play style
♥️

Please analyze napolis new tactics❤
Sorry, but they are no longer European giants 😂🤣
Shh. Them fans ain't ready to hear it yet. Give it time, they'll see.
Xavi is too inexperienced, and i dare say he is simply not ready for this level. Why start Alonso instead of Balde who is a better attacking LB? Why start Raphina on the left? Why start Gavi, he should be a sub at best? This loss was on Xavi - his tactics and choice of players is extrememly falwed, he is good enough to beat small teams but when he comes up against good managers he is exposed dispite him having a far better team.
Xavi needs to drop the ego
agreed
Barce need midifield like bernardo or player like messi
classic cattenacio
Barcelona should sign Mount and Jorginho they could've won
Too fuckin predictable, every time we play vs deep blocks, it’s always the same bs as usual. Just find Dembele or Alonso who is SHIT and just spam crosses and Gavi being higher is pointless cuz Dembele won’t make any runs behind the defense or at least help Lewa. Raphinha on LW doesn’t work. Also, if Gavi is higher, Pedri was good but he needs to go in the box more often. Xavi needs to change this maybe Kessie over Gavi next game and our injured players need to come back asap
Dembele sent like 30 crosses and got 5 right, Raphinha was out on the left and he wasn't looking right at all - he was frozen and frustrated, Pedri was carrying 10 men on his back, Lewandowski was making all the right movements but the pass to him? None existent.
Christensen and Roberto performed well too to be honest
Exactly, Dembele was like “fuck it i cross”
Lmao Roberto was just back passing and vibes
I can be a better coach is all i feel dead tactically favouring spanish player is all i can say like what the fuck is kessie doing in the team or just loan him out and why the hell is balde benched in champions league🤣🤡
Against Italian football still attacking with dembele and rafinha is worst again
The italin football is much defensive xavi should have brought ferran toress before ansu fati ferran toress will mke a dummy run here and there(only thing he is good at) and gavi or sergio roberto will be the right winger it was a simple defence but worked 100 on 💯 for the inter boss all credit to him
Exactly 💯.
barca attacks could be more dangrous if Sergi Roberto overlapped
If Raphina would have played better ,barca would have definitely won.
FDJ would've been a great runner
Impossible to use wingers against a 5-line defense and no help from your team. Why not trying Dembele and Raphinha playing at the same side for a while? They have pace and skill to make associations, 1-2 plays and open space for shoot or cross. Sergi Roberto is useless, so having him as a guy with freedom means nothing for Barça. The midfield was dominated by the Inter's physical midfield, and we see in these situations when a 34yo guy like Busquets makes things much slower and weak in that area. Well done by Inter, well done by you again! Cheers!
Midfield should have been
Pedri Dejong Kessi
De jong is injured
Alonso, S Roberto can’t play…
Raphina not at his best position…
Busquets is not physically threatening.
Gavi is a baby…
Eric can’t run…
Bring the physicality type of player… bigger strength, run super fast and can dribble nimble….
